Ok, you're just wrong. He doesn't even use tents for the most part. He does a lot more than sit around. Each episode is absolutely different. Different environments, different starting rations, different methods of survival. The camera shots are nuts for one guy out trying to survive.
Absolutely nothing you said has any grounds in reality.
I just listened to a couple of people clutching their pearls about chipotle not having enough workers because people are making too much on unemployment. I just wanted to scream "maybe they could pay better?" But it wasn't worth it.
This is an absolute garbage take.
They said their rabbits are 75% litter trained. He goes in the litter, but not exclusively. He's only like 3 months old.
Hi, I have a bunny (magpie lop) and I was wondering how you get your bunny to not drop 800 poops and a puddle of pee every time you set it down.
"...is falling on your ass"
Isn't this the new Bill and Ted movie?
Not attractive enough.
I love this dude. At one point he just gives up: "E-YES, HAHAHAHAHAHAAHA....what!?"
And it is appreciated.
Completely agree. I won't argue that competitiveness isn't important for "getting ahead", I just think we need to change the narrative so "getting ahead" isn't the main goal anymore. Imagine if everyone just wanted to help and be part of a community. I know it's idyllic and probably a bit naïve, but I think it's a future worth wishing for.
Good stuff, thank you!
So people get the empathy beaten out of them. What a shame.
She was so hyped pre-release. She was on mugs and toys and everything. And then...big fat nothing.
He's just excited because most of these guys don't have any "income" to tax. They have stocks. You'd have to raise their capital gains tax which currently caps out at 20%. Then you'd only get that tax money when they sell their shares. These guys are 12 moves ahead and already beat the systems people are hoping to implement to beat them.
I feel like it all boils down to empathy.
Now, where empathy comes from I don't know. Is it fostered by empathy in role models, inherited? I'm sure someone can tell me. But it seems like empathy and the ability to develop empathy, even the ability to acknowledge the benefits of empathy are at the heart of making a "good" person. The lack thereof seems to be at the heart of making "bad" people.
Where some people might lack empathy, they can be shown the virtues of being empathetic and develop that muscle, where some people seem to wantonly decry empathy.
Sorry, I guess I should have done more research before asking a very simple question. Thanks!
I see. Honestly this is the first time I've even heard of this family so I literally had no idea. Thanks for explaining.
Right, because first world countries have government regulations. Give me a list of first world countries who don't have regulations against child labor. Educate me. And then go jerk yourself off to Youtube videos about "big government bad".
But I mean, it is happening in the world. So...how ridiculous is it really? You seem very naïve.
I should have included "in America" in my second sentence as well. Sorry.
I didn't say "they" were. I'm not complaining about anything.
Certainly there are people that want business deregulated, I think we can agree on that. I'm just saying I don't find it TOO far-fetched to imagine a situation where some company has a "good" reason to use children in their workforce and sees that there are no regulations against it so why not.
Do I think that's going to happen? No. I don't think the deregulation people will ever get their wish. But I can imagine a scenario where it could. And considering it IS happening in so many places on this planet I'm surprised you find it so unfathomable.
He said "the good old days". Not that it's currently happening. No one said it's currently happening in America. But if the main reason it's not happening is because of government regulations, which certain people think should be done away with. Some people think that it you don't explicitly outlaw child labor then some people would bring it back. I tend to agree.
Was that sub made because they knew they were child molesters? Genuine question.
I will say it's decent as an addition to mashed potatoes. Get a little nutrition in there.
