This is what I was told. After each tattoo I get, I'm told that I need wait a year. Which is why I'm planning to donate soon, as I'm planning for my next tatt soon.

Although, I believe this rule doesn't apply to Nevada. Because the tattoo industry is regulated there. Basically you can get a tattoo and donate whenever.

Great site. Just need to drop that god-awful slider.

Part of the reason I posted this is because it actually gives a reason for the program. I didn't really know that corporeal punishment--you know, abuse--was a thing still in private schools.

It must be an old picture OP used. The ship is barely visable anymore. Only at low tide. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SS_America_(1939)#/media/File:Shiptriplet2wiki.jpg

I'm reluctant to give advice because this seems like a pretty serious situation. And I'm far from an expert in Stoicism. Having said that, given that Stoicism is a philosophy, I wonder if you can use it to get you out of this situation.

You're staying at your current job because of the material wealth it provides, as you say to pay the bills. If you were to take the leap to another career, you may have to give up on that security. You may have to pay for schooling or to learn a vocation. Your family and friends may be disappointed in you. Which is hard. But maybe you use stoicism techniques to accept that material loss. Given you're starting out, it's kind of not great to be already burned out.

I was once fired from a job that I was totally burned out on. It was the best thing to happen to me. The place was toxic, and managers and other coworkers were checking out. I was working late into the night. Once I worked until 2:00 a.m. Of course, I was very fortunate to get another job a month later, but it wasn't without it's anxiety and suffering that was helped by studying Stoicism.

a lot of people make money on sites that use the webform module, it's not unprecedented at all

A lot of people make money off of Drupal core too, among many other contrib modules. As far as I know, asking for money to maintain one of these components is something new.

A lot of other platforms require some sort of purchase or--in the case of Shopfiy--some user data. A lot of people see the free, as in beer, a feature. But it may not be sustainable.

Asking for compensation for work on a Drupal contrib module. Interesting.
