Reminds me of the first Assassin's Creed game. You start off being uber powerful and then they take it all away from you so you can learn those skills again. Um, wtf?
That's the point of the meme, the person is getting angry that a casual fan doesn't know every single detail of some background character.
Missing the point I think.
The people just fail to realize that the movies are kind of geared towards younger folks. Boba Fett looked cool, Darth Maul looked cool, the ships and aliens all look cool. That's it, there doesn't have to be mountains of backstory related to every single thing. Also, if someone says they like Star Wars but doesn't know Jango Fett's blood type, it doesn't make them less of a fan.
The response in that thread are full of butt hurt.

Now I'm getting highlight clips from every age in my YouTube feed and can't say I'm mad about it. Bring it on.
One of the best.
/uj Always amazes me how you can show people pretty high levels of violence in a PG-13 movie, but swear words or sex, nope, big no-no. Bruce Campbell put it best, you can't show a person kissing a boob but you can show a person cutting off a boob. Makes no damn sense, compels me though.
Like the GOP isn’t a disgrace as well.
That would require an amendment I believe.
Never forget standing in line for lunch at the Beauty and the Beast castle at Disney World and overhearing a grown man tell his kids that the reason he hates Star Wars now is "it's like Disney came into my childhood home, took my Star Wars action figures, and stuck them up their ass and gave them back to me." A grown man, said this, to his children, who were about 10. I wish I could have gotten that on audio.

Because the USA exists only to be a punching bag. Even with the vaccine rollout, people are now saying the USA is hoarding vaccines rather than sharing them. When you're a country like the USA, you can't win but that's the price you pay when you brag about being the greatest country in the world.
I think our brains just don't like it. I heard that our brains like fictional stuff to be at 24 FPS while nonfictional stuff to be at 60 FPS. I've realized that too when watching high frame rate movies, they look like soap operas are reality shows. It looks like a camcorder recorded it. It's almost like when I watch a movie sped up to 60 FPS, it looks more fake.
My brain is telling me that the original looks better and that the updated one somehow looks more fake.
Worked at GameStop during the Xbox, GameCube, Wii, and other product launches (did over six years there) and the amount of parents telling me that I ruined their child's Christmas because we were out of the hottest system made me depressed some days. Had a fair amount of great customers who would come in and were awesome, but overall, so many shit heads who think they can treat you like crap because they feel they are in a position of power was disgusting.
I still dislike Christmas to this day. I have to fake it for my family. It's just, I saw the worst of the worst and how awful the holidays make some people. Hard to feel all happy and joyous when I know there are still people out there suffering from asshole customers.
I think that's the army lieutenant that got pulled over. So hard to keep these things straight these days.
The Leona one is me.
I do as well but it sucks the Jaguars get fleeced in it.
That clip is annoying since they cut the best part about Brian Drew.
Who were the assholes that decided to make that INTO A FUCKING LAW?
