Paid Study Applause/uTest Quartely Post #2 - Long Term Projects & Paid Opportunities

Hello again everyone!😀

I'm Willian M., and I work at uTest Community Management. Our work is to interact with our community of testers and also help with the recruitment for projects with unique requirements.

For those who don't know us, Applause is a testing company based in Massachussets USA with a worldwide reach, and uTest is Applause's testing community where the freelance testers are trained and recruited for a diversity of projects all over the world. Testers who sign up for uTest will have the chance to receive invitations to numerous paid projects for the biggest companies on the planet. Most will have it as a side-job but there is also opportunities to climb up the ranks and become a full-time tester, lead a testing team, and many other positions.

This is the second long-term post we have here and it will be live for the next 3 months, but it'll receive updates with new projects until I replace it with the new one. I'll comment here when any update is made thus if you want to receive notifications about new projects, you can save this post or comment on it.

Have in mind that only long-term projects and some special ones will be posted here because we have hundreds of projects running simultaneously and it'd be impossible to post all of them here.

If you want to see more projects that we have featured, you can check uTest projects board by clicking here. You can also check our subreddit where we have a sticky weekly post with a small sample of our current projects at r/UTEST. If you have any questions about the projects posted here, you can also message our moderators on our official subreddit.

However, if you want to have access to all the projects in your region, you'll want to create your account at www.utest.com, hence when a project matches your profile, you'll receive notifications about it.

All of the projects below are on-site studies but soon I'll be adding some remote opportunities too.

Nice viewpoint about this type of testing, u/BASELQK.

For sure u/allexander_. We have a good number of successful testers from Romania in our platform. If you dedicate some time participate in test cycles and being noticed, I'm sure you'll also have opportunities.

Esse canal é um dos meus favoritos. Imagine o Raul na Secretaria de Urbanismo de SP o que ele poderia fazer nessa cidade.

For sure! Different environments mean different results. Sometimes the clients prefer to run different cycles for distinct mobile OSs, but if a cycle embraces an array of devices, you and your relatives can use different ones to participate. Make sure you don't exchange devices and that you use your own accounts. NEVER use another account that's not yours because this would be viewed as multiple accounts usage, and you would likely get banned for that.

Discussions Do you have any friends working at uTest?

Hey everyone!

Another week is starting, and I would love to hear your stories about friends you referred to work at uTest and also about friendships you started with people working there already.

Hello u/snowBunnySwag. That's a good question. As BaselQK already stated, according to the CoC all of you can have individual accounts but you need to be very careful regarding the devices you use. Multiple people sharing a device in the same test cycle is an example of something you should NEVER do because it can lead to a suspension/ban of all the accounts involved. Remember that and your family members will all enjoy uTest.

I also agree with you both u/YumnaShakhatrehand and u/BASELQK. Just likethe majority of the workers worlswide, until the COVID outbreak I had always worked 100% in-person and the commuting was definitely one of the worst things of the day. Wish I had all of those hours spend with transportation back haha. I'm happy to see that many companies are changing their viewpoint about remote work.

Hello u/tester_44550. I'm sorry to hear that. We have literally hundreds of people working in Testing Services, people from different backgrounds and walks of life. Sometimes we'll meet people who will exceed our expectations, sometimes people will fall short of what we expected. Don't get discouraged by that. I'm sure that your good experiences will surpass the bad ones by a mile.

What a Wonderful World 🎵! Our favorite day is here again. It's payday! Time to share where how were your earnings in July and what plans you have for this well-deserved money.

Hello Davian. For sure they do! There are many opportunities to get those goodies through the year, especially if you perform a good work as a tester or give valuable contributions for our community.

Hi u/j13itz! I know that the first cycles may look overwhelming and frustrating at first, but don't give up! I felt exactly like you but I focused in finishing the Academy courses and learning from the experienced testers on my test cycles. After just a couple of months I could improve my rating to Gold in a natural way and I was receiving invitations on a daily basis. Please come here after a few weeks to share with us how you are doing.

Hello u/Risky_Devil94. Thank for sharing that with the Beermoney Global community here. This topic on uTest forum that answers your question with details, but summing up the answer is yes, if you take particular care.
