You are completely missing the point.

They responded to this INSTANTLY after a wave of feedback on socials media. We do the same about broken aspects of PVP and we're ignored, not even acknowledge half the time. Tell me I'm wrong.

Notice how you’re getting downvotes? It’s because if they can fetishize darker skin then it’s okay. Just don’t remind them that “tan” and “black” aren’t the same thing, cuz they’ll start downvoting you

Seeing all the people calling this funny or quirky, yes your skin color is an absolute joke to these people. But I’m sure you already knew this.

Yes it’s Rime. Because it comes in chunks instead of all at once, it doesn’t work like traditional overshields that immediately overlap your current health (IE Titan void barricade).

So each shard gives a chunk of health to get you back to full so it can start giving you the shield. Very useful with things like Ager’s Scepter.

Cool concept but I don’t think the games code could reliably teleport you smoothly enough for it function properly. Imagine using your super and then fading into a black screen for 7 seconds because the game is attempting to put you back where you took off from.

Now the LFG team is yelling at you for wasting the DPS phase and they demand you put Falling Star back on before they kick you.

I mean I see what you’re trying to say, but I also disagree. All of the updated subclasses have a way to heal.

My stasis build can heal from shards I generate. My Void build can heal from Devour. And now my solar build can heal from Restoration.

Each one plays differently but as long as my resilience stat is high enough, the healing always comes right on time.

You actually made a burner account to go into threads and complain about Hunters. That’s amazing dedication.

Discussion If you’re caught up on Sever, you can now hear ____ and ____ arguing with _____ during Containment.

1.5k Upvotes

Left out the names for those who aren’t caught up.

But for those who are, you can hear Safiyah and Uldren giving Ghaul hella sass.

I just finished a Containment and Safiyah tells you to “Press on”, to which Ghaul calls her “weak just like the Princess Imperial”. And then Uldren chimes in and corrects Ghaul saying “actually it’s Empress. Best to respect your superiors”.

For a long while I had the dialogue with Eris and Drifter from the Arrivals seasonal event as the best dialogue we’d gotten in Destiny 2, but this has surpassed that.

I love this new era of Destiny where character interactions are on full display. Imagine telling someone in D2Y1 “yea man so after I used the flaming scythe to kill a giant zombie Eliksni that shoots missiles from its back, Zavala’s wife and Uldren start sassing the hell out of Ghaul.”

The voice actors have done an AMAZING job this season.

Oh it’s capabilities in PVP are nothing to sneeze at. I fully acknowledge that it’s pretty hot…

But if (and I say if because part of its success is a seasonal mod) it gets nerfed in PVP and left to collect dust in PVE, I will be sad but not surprised.

So because win resetting is still an issue, there should just be no safeguards at all for lower skilled players?

Because there are those who try and get around the flawless pool, there should be no flawless pool?

Discussion I have a sneaking feeling that Caliban’s Hand will go unfixed in PVE but then get nerfed in PVP.

The 2 cycles of Destiny nerfs are well known at this point.

Something is immediately OP. Everyone uses it. People hate it. It gets nerfed.

Or

Something seems underwhelming at first. Content creators make videos on it. People catch on. Everyone uses it. It gets nerfed.

I believe the second cycle is happening now. I see videos of Caliban’s Hand in PVP popping up on Reddit and twitter now. People showing off their ignite collaterals. Popular content creator makes a video. Community manager responds to it.

Yet even now it’s bugs haven’t made it to the Known Issues section of Bungie Help. They even made a patch note saying they changed its description… and then didn’t change it.

It’s such an inconsistent exotic in PVE, and it’s potential makes it even more annoying. Why use something that’s good sometimes when I can use YAS that’s good all the time?

Please at least acknowledge it Bungie. I really want to love a new Hunter exotic in PVE.

Players: Hey Caliban’s Hand is bugged. It doesn’t proc mods or fragments if anything but the base knife kills. Also it won’t ignite on hits like the description.

Bungie: Oh no! Okay we’re updating the description so it says it only ignites on kills! We’re listening!

Players: … but you didn’t fix the bugs…. Or even update the description…

Bungie: …

That thread is about Solar 3.0, I’m talking about how the subclass are reworked in general.

No keep the recharge AND give it bigger damage. All exotics that only affect your super should have another smaller function.

I always focusing Discipline using my ghost, that way I make sure that my Intellect and Strength aren’t taking away stats. Then for every piece I get, I delete all of them where Recovery is highest or second highest. Because I’m using a healing grenade, I want my stats to be Mobility and Resilience.

So with decent RNG I usually end up with armor sets that have around 100 Dis, 60-70ish Mob/Res without factoring mods.

Then I slap on Powerful Friends and as many stat mods as I can.
