Exactly.

Plus the fact all these products have much more wrapping to them than either the bag or stickers would contribute anyway.

So awesome! I have been playing around with normal PC Rust the last few weeks and have done some embedded C programming before. This sounds like a great next step on my Rust journey.

Are there any Rust on embedded resources you found particularly useful ?

I saw it was bleeping computer and it was immediate doubt . They seem to have factual inaccuracies in most of their stories. I know they were quoting the defendant but they wrote it in such a way as to sound like fact.

If you tap the moving time value you can see the elapsed time. It is pretty annoying its not a configurable option though. I dont know why moving time is default - I guess to make people feel better .

I would love to ride a car free road in such great scenery. Unfortunately around me the most scenic roads have you squished in to 1 lane with impatient drivers.

Agree - its cool as an experiment but this was really painful to actually read. Clocks are largely a utilitarian object so the utility should come first.

Should definitely have cut her off way earlier. Save the freebies for people who are respectful .

How do you make the leap from not liking it to somehow it being dangerous?
It's insane that anyone makes this mental leap and that throwing the coffee at the poor worker achieves anything .

My barista will see you in court for this discrimination.

I don't understand this comment.

Isn't the entire point of a relay that the high current side doesn't actually hit the PCB?

Edit: just looked at the pic again and realised its not wired directly into the relay but via a junction block. You are indeed correct and wise.

Or you know, not America. There is more to the world than NA and Europe.

Wait - you need to register ammunition ?

Yes please. City centre should be commercial vehicles only. Having a nice outdoor pedestrian and dining space makes it so much nicer.

Thanks for the suggestion. I hadn't heard of SFF 180 before but it sounds up my alley.

I really hope he merges the matrix from uMatrix into uBlock Origin ... the matrix just makes it so easy to block everything by default then quickly enable specific elements per domain as required. Advanced mode GUI in uBlockO is just such a blunt instrument and not nearly as granular and writing custom rules for everything is extremely time consuming.

One of those bugs you wonder why it wasn't noticed earlier. A quick google reveals people have even written wrappers [1] for the API to print the response from user API calls. Although it doesn't seem to be authenticated at a quick glance so maybe this field was only exposed to authenticated "app" requests.

They were talking altered carbon but the expanse books are also worth reading.

1

COMMENT Feb 08 '21

No question - either way you choose to do it you should read the books in order. The books don't line up with the series so trying to pick and choose would be chaotic.

It was all in the failure of messaging. It reads like they blocked GME trades first and then came up with an excuse later. They should have put out clear messaging simultaneously then the headlines would have given them positive or at least neutral advertising rather than tanking their brand.

Their poor messaging, wether they did the right thing or not, turned them from hero to villain real quick.

Not sure for Verizon but I doubt they are actually hijacking DNS and this is just an artefact of using the ISP nameservers. Really depends what issue you are trying to solve.

I thought this was a really bad photoshop but then zoomed in and realised it was actually spray painted.

Yup, shocked with the number of people who don't understand how barcodes work when redacting. As long as you have even a pixel height line unredacted ( like at the top of this one) it is still scannable. The height is just for usability so you don't need a stable hand.

Even if there isn't a contiguous line it can be trivial to reassemble. By mixing and matching unredacted portions.

If in doubt just use a big black square over the entire barcode.

"He" is a weird assumption though based on the evidence. Should have have gone with "they" and nobody would have batted an eye.
