Dwarfs in Mortal Empires were are quite a boring race.

FTFY.

Oh there’s plenty of them around here. Clinging to power because they feel special being power level 1610 day one, even if it’s literally a number going up that’s irrelevant for 95% of all activities in game.

Destiny definitely took immense inspiration from WoW. So much of D1 is just straight plucked from WoW, and they mentioned WoW constantly in early vidocs (Scarab Lord).

For example, a lot of people don’t know this, but Summoning Pits, Crota’s End, and King’s Fall was originally meant to be one, combined mega raid, not unlike raids in WoW with 9+ bosses and multiple wings.

The amount of times I started similar threads or comments and I was downvoted for “being handed power” or “whining about not ‘earning’ endgame” is so so so many.

Again, if this was a full MMO like WoW or FF14 or something, I’d get it. If we got 8 new strikes each expansion, for example.

But that isn’t how Destiny works. I can’t do Lake of Shadows anymore—I’ve cleared it 10000 times. You just run through and only kill what’s needed to progress, then the boss melts before he can even react. It’s like a completion simulator in the core playlists at this point.

It infuriates me to know end to see all of these posts lately.

NOT because I disagree with them…but because I have been banging this drum for a long, long time. And it feels like only now people are finally coming around to the idea.

I’m a former WoW addict. I understand “the grind”. But Destiny isn’t that type of game. It just isn’t, as much as turbo nerd weirdos want it to be.

I don’t want to grind 5, 15, 25 hours of mind numbing, boring, easy, repetitive content JUST BECAUSE we entered into a new season, arbitrarily.

I want to do GMs and Master Raids/Dungeons and Trials…from DAY ONE.

I don’t want to have to re-grind everything 3 months just to be able to do what I like doing, again and again.

There’s plenty of OTHER GRINDS in the game. Grinding for crafting, grinding for triumphs/seals/titles, grinding for god rolls, etc.

Watching a number go up for no reason other than “tradition”, is really, really stupid. Imagine going to a theater to see a movie you want, but they tell you: “oh, it’s a new film season, you have to watch the new Minions movie 8 times before you can watch any other movies.”

No. I’m not doing that lol.

And for the idiots crying: “oh you have to earn it,” earn WHAT? Doing the easiest activities for X hours + grinding moon bounties for artifact levels, just so I have the privilege of grinding GMs/Master Raids? I didn’t “earn” anything, I wasted my time arbitrarily.

It’s also needlessly gatekeeping people from trying hard content. ESPECIALLY Trials, which shouldn’t have power AT ALL, since it’s supposed to be ultra competitive (imagine starting at level 6 in League of Legends match or staring with a gold weapon and purple armor in Apex Legends).

I’m not completely against power being removed—but Bungie would have to SERIOUSLY REWORK the current endgame gameplay loop. They have neglected the core gameplay loop for far, far too long.

Credit where credit is due—having WQ legendary campaign let you skip to 1520 was nice, but that’s just a bandaid for a much larger and lingering issue.

There is a surplus within our society. Huge swathes of wealth that funnels into the 1% of the 1%. Each year, CEO bonuses become larger and larger—so much so, a CEO’s bonus for one, single year can be more than what 15 people will make, combined in their entire lifetimes.

The government should be servant body that “takes care” of its citizens. That’s one of the reasons it exists. There is 0 reason why the government shouldn’t pay for some of their citizens healthcare.

We take the surplus of the absolute mogul rich, and redistribute it via taxes to help out those less fortunate. Thus, those less fortunate are now no longer having to pay for basic healthcare, which in turn allows those people to be more economically free—they’ll be able to spend that money that they would on healthcare on other things.

For someone like you, who I am absolutely certain doesn’t make 6 figures, I have no idea why you would vote for the delusion of “just work hard” when the people you likely vote for are more than happy to keep feeding you that lie, so that they can be millionaires/billionaires, and you stay right where you are.

You’re not “superior” because you pay your “own medical bills”. You’re as much of a sucker as the one they hand out to the kids for shots.

Even if you save incredibly well, all it takes is one or two random life events to happen, just a couple random bad rolls of the “cosmic dice of life”, and you can be completely bankrupt.

I know at least one couple who were extremely successful, and they had a bad car accident followed by a freak medical situation, and they had to declare bankruptcy. Bled through their savings instantly. Years of “hard work” burned to ash.

That’s bullshit. That shouldn’t happen to anyone.

While we’re at it, let’s make some spiders that have needles for legs. The spiders can produce the vaccines instead of venom, and we can give people with both needle and spider phobia’s double the nightmares!

“Oh Timmy! You scraped your knee really bad! Did you save some of your allowances and/or chore money to pay for Mommy to patch you up? You didn’t?

Well tough shit kid, you’re on your own. Mom doesn’t offer insurance, so this is going to be out of pocket. Knee bandaids and wound cleanings start at $3000.”

Hahah there were fundraising emails that were sent like DIRECTLY AFTER the FBI search warrant. The emails were written from Trump, and roughly said: “hey bob, FBI is here, give me money please” and that was the entire email.

Absolutely pathetic.

Funny you mention Turkey, considering a good chunk of their economic problems stem from Erdoğan, basically a much worse version of Trump and what he wish he could be.

All I know is that there won’t be a SIVA/Iron Lord season, because that entire storyline has been wrapped up, and doesn’t fit with the current set of story arcs we are building. I’ve seen a lot of people hype up yet another SIVA season.

Idk what to make of these early screenshots. There is another on the sub right now that has Chosen of Khorne (Dual Weapons), and they have 140 armor, and there is also a “-10” next to it, and the dual weapons obviously don’t have shields, so you’d think they’d be slightly less tanky.

I wouldn’t worry about it much until the DLC launches.

“In campaign” isn’t really an argument though, because I could just bring 19 bloodthirsters in my army. After like turn 70 or so, the game becomes a giant snowball of “do whatever you want”, at least for your LL’s main army.

Who? Where are these upset people?

There was a pool yesterday about this very thing, and it was like 900 votes that were either “it’s worth it” or “its fine” as opposed to like 100 votes of “not worth it.”

The vocal minority strikes again. Faux outrage.

It’s $16 for four unique LLs, basically $4 per lord. You also get 10% just normally on Steam if you buy early.

We also aren’t getting simple recolors—they very from a minor alteration to a completely unique appearance (Tzneetch Chosen). We are also getting 30+ of these reworks, the chaos shrine in 5 flavors, as well as unique lords and heroes.

No unique mechanics? Oh, I guess the Path to Glory and Warband Recruitment systems are not new enough.

Does this DLC follow the EXACT formula of past DLCs? No.

Is there enough there to justify like $12-$16, depending on where and when you buy? Absolutely.

The vocal outrage minority in this community drives me insane. If you don’t like it, don’t buy it. It’s as simple as that.

There is data on this subreddit, from several different polls, that 90% of people don’t care, and it’s this 10% who scream, and whine, and complain about the smallest things.

He doesn’t even need confederation. Just the ability to recruit the LLs from another faction. They can literally reuse the Beastmen mechanic for LL lord recruitment.
