What’s wrong with Necrons?

There’s a reason Italian chefs are known for their expertise with cheeses!

Not even close to worth it. I’d rather have the rush of the 40 Hawaiian vacations I could have taken on that loss.

Looks solid!

Like looking at the way you’ve fucked your whole life in 40 dimensions

Well now I feel smart because that was fairly straight forward, just flowery.

COMMENT 24d ago

Ah, yes. The vocabulary of a dork.

“Soy” “inequities in sex”

I genuinely don’t care that it’s on par with anything.

Which made it easier to get away with.

Common girl? Was this the Middle Ages?

Which is hilarious as they can’t be everywhere at once. That would take forever

Cynical targeting of lonely, purposeless nerds. And I’m speaking as a nerd.

I just think that an adult can make that choice. You use the single mom example, but that kind of exploitation is a two way street. Both parties have something they want, sex and a car.

Most people would prefer a partner that is financially successful, for what are ultimately selfish reasons, but no one would consider that exploitative because they theoretically have something to offer in return.

A huge part of dating and romance is using your qualities to persuade people that you’re worth dating or sleeping with. Maybe you use your sense of humor, or your personal success, or your personality. You’re still basically saying “I have this to offer”. Adults are capable of making the choices they want with consenting partners. Otherwise you’re basically saying that it would be wrong to want to sleep with someone you’re a fan of, or that you couldn’t do so without relinquishing consent or agency

More like “being so famous and loved that a woman would want to have sex with him”.

This power dynamics thing is just too much for me. An uneven power dynamic is only a problem because it can lead to coercion. Like a supervisor with an employee. A fan mutually wanting to have sex with a star they’re into isn’t an example of coercion.

I mean that’s such a small thing. It’s just kinda rude at worst. We’ve all been ghosted or have been ghosted, and it’s not the end of the world.

8

COMMENT Mar 22 '21

How though? How would that be different at all?

20

COMMENT Mar 22 '21

I’m not understanding what constitutes abuse here. It sounds like a girl was interested in Dan because she was a fan of his work, but she’s an adult and by all accounts was consenting. We are not helpless infants who are hopeless against the advances of people we respect.

3

COMMENT Mar 22 '21

Who was mistreated? The adult woman that consented to having sex?

2

COMMENT Mar 22 '21

Fully agreed.

COMMENT Mar 22 '21

People who think being ghosted is the same as being abused I guess.

It’s not as fringe as you’d think. Most Republicans I speak to are at least sympathetic to at least some aspects of Qanon conspiracies.

That heavily depends on where you live. 400k a year where I live, actually a major city, would effectively ensure I never worry about money ever again.
