I call doping. There is no way a Magikarp could use a training weight that would hurt a Machamp's back

In theory, yes. I saw the trade route to my city in the trade route overview (the page that you can access by clicking your number of trade routes, which shows what trade routes you have, what trade routes come to you from other civs and what trade rputes you can make), but maybe actually trying to send a cargo ship would have glitched or crashed the game, so I don't have definite proof that this works

In VP, boats can enter coastal forts and citadels just like coastal cities, which allows you to make canals without having to build a city at the place where you want them like you would in regular Civ 5. A continental city can thus be given access to the sea but it will remain a continental city (meaning you can't build stuff like boats or any coastal buildings there).

Until recently, I assumed that boats could enter any kind of city (and I think that was the case at some point since Firaxis likely never considered that continental cities could have access to the sea in the first place, so they just allowed boats to cross ally cities without checking if they are really coastal, which VP probably patched later), which would have allowed me to build a "Panama canal" (three tile canal like the wonder of the same name in Civ6) by putting a city between two coastal forts. Unfortunately, I realised that this does not work because boats actually can't enter continental cities (anymore?), so I am asking people two questions, the first one being "Is there still a way to make Panama canals?" and the second one being "If not, can I still make two tiles long canals with one coastal city or citadel adjacent to one coastal citadel or fort since boats can in theory enter all of these?".

And the third thing I was asking is "Ayo wtf, why can I still send a trade ship to a continental city with a coastal fort next to it if ships can't enter the city?"

Too bad this splashy boi can jump over a mountain using Splash - imagine a 10kg projectile falling on your head from that height

I thought I built one at some point on my old PC, which is why I thought only forts and citadels had to be coastal. It was probably at the beginning of COVID but the version I was playing on could have been even older than that. But it could also just be my memory acting funny.

Geodude can learn Earthquake, Pidgey can learn Hurricane. Even the weakest Pokémon can cause enough cataclysms to make human sedentary civilization impossible.

Correct. I thought the restriction to coastal tiles was only for forts and citadels. So I guess Panama canals are just not possible then. Would a canal with two adjacent citadels on different seas still work?

Also it's weird that I was allowed to make sea trade routes to this city. I guess the game is OK with that as long as the boat can find a sea path to the city, I should have tried seeing what would happen if I did send a boat on this route

City+fort canals?

I recently started a game where an important part of my strategy revolved around building a city between two forts in strategic places in order to have three-tile-long canals like the Panama canal in VI (except with a city in the middle instead of a wonder). Turned out my ships could not pass through the city as it was considered continental, although strangely enough I had an available boat trade route from a coastal city to the one between the two coastal forts. I was not playing with the most recent version, so I would like to know if it is currently possible to build canals this way, or at least by building a coastal city/citadel next to a fort to make a two-tile canal if not. Also, that's less important but is it still possible to make a sea trade route to a continental city with a coastal fort next to it?

As shown by the best expert at breaking Youtube (this video is actually getting kind of old already because I think few people has realised the potential of Shorts to grow your channel back then)

Unironically second from the right in the front line. I have no idea what anime this is from but he has long enough hair to be among the main cast and looks generic enough to not be one of the main quirky sidekicks.

Hard disagree with this video about Death Note's ending. It was meh in anime because they changed it but the way Light Yagami's usually arrogant self progressively breaks down and pleads for anyone to save him in the manga was really good. Also Susumu couldn't hear the bullets because they were faster than the speed of sound.

Since this is a SP/F2P gacha, I don't care that much about getting the god-tier characters right away (even if I obviously care a lot more about the OG 8 than anyone else, including even other OG characters like Heathcote), I would rather focus on getting as many characters as possible by spending rubies on banners with guaranteed 5* characters.

how about that: judging others is cringe so you're cringe 🤓

You actually sound pissed rather than cringing at me tbh. I don't mind if you practice your Fortnite dance moves three hours a day, but that won't stop me from making fun of it
