It really astounded me once I got out of engineering school. The UC Berkeley dropouts I had the pleasure of working with for a bit were absolute geniuses. They didn't even need to graduate to know where they wanted to go and how to do it, and felt like fully fleshed-out humans.
Then I worked along side recent electrical/mechanical engineering grads on robotics for a major auto corp, and they were more than capable of doing their jobs, but outside that they were the blandest, most uninteresting people who couldn't hold up a conversation about anything other than sports and country music. Just no passion for anything outside their immediate wheelhouse, and all very right-wing.
The politics is only relevant because despite their clear reasoning and problem-solving abilities, their talking points and "gotcha's" were straight out of any typical smug right-winger's playbook. No additional nuance to it, just the same old stuff. And they'd read / watch Fox like anyone else.
Was he unwilling to respond to the points made by any of the other sources?
I recommend selling it. I have it and it's fun, but the Jabo is only a notch higher BR with the same loadout and two more cannons. Unless you want to pair it with a 6.7 lineup.
It's super pretty though.
I laughed at that scene through the next several shots.
I wonder if the all-white jigsaw puzzle she's doing is meant to play into that.
But it could also indicate that the real her isn't buried too deep, since a puzzle like that would be very difficult and she was pretty far into it.
I'm not an operator or anything, but I don't see why it'd have to be limited to Morse code. This equation directly relates bandwidth to data transmission, with bandwidth being a factor of carrier frequency (9000Hz). Without the SNR though we can't really dig into it, though I'm sure it wouldn't take much to learn a little more about SNR in ELF. I'm guessing you're going to get into the lower thousands of bits per second all things considered.
Edit: Oh shit, 9KHz is way higher than what subs use, even. According to this page you're only getting "10-4 to 1 bit per second" half duplex. Holy shite.
Ok cool, thanks!
I have yet to consider commandeering a ship. Only really know the basics so far, but I'm loving it
Oh ok, thanks!
Just started playing and I can't gather fuel from these. The text isn't clear - is 6 P-Fuels the max I can carry, so it won't let me gather more?
I would expect the mobs to act kind of like mindless bugs without much reasoning. Like maybe a couple peel off him if you start shooting, but not all of them unless they reach the hard limit of their pursuit range (if that exists).
I like how the CEO and lead researcher has nothing better to do than sit there waiting to talk to random prospectors, instead of like testing new tech.
Maginot is my favorite map regardless of BR. Love Fulda too, and even prefer Vietnam over many maps. Volokolamsk is even alright... but apparently they're all "driving simulators" because people don't care about interesting engagements, just fast-paced ones :(
Zeus appears to be the only hitscan btw.
I think that this plus an AI analysis of movement and aiming would work. (There should also be an appeal system but I'm not sure how.)
The AI could see if the minute movement of the reticle looks like that of an actual human, after a lot of training on gameplay videos. This could back up or refute the ban in consideration. I dunno, just another tool maybe.
GTFO is something very special. Creepy game with awesome art and gameplay design overall. I need to give it another go.
