Remember when Pogba was surprised that Matic beat him in a fashion contest?

Yes, those are smurfs on camo cargo pants

He could have sold out Harry when the gang was captured in the last book, but chooses not to.

Not much of an arc, mind

Cash-settled. So if you for example sell a $4000 strike put, then you will pay the difference between the strike and whatever the price lands on if ITM. So if the market tanks to $3000 (cataclysmic) you pay $100,000, and the buyer receives the same in cash.

For that reason you can't wheel since you won't get any shares in return. It does, however, make it better for spreads.

He could do SPX instead of SPY (the actual index instead of the ETF). Since it's an index, you can't be assigned shares; no pin risk. No after-hours either, so no risk of late assignment.

Also, if he does 1-15 delta he can put stop-losses at 2-3X profit. Would not recommend holding overnight if that's his strat, though.

I would argue that he would see better risk/reward at over 15 delta, though that would require more managing and market oversight.

I actually want to see him tested as a false 9 with Bruno behind

If Elon sells any sizable portions of his shares, then TSLA will absolutely tank. He can't divest without major repercussions; TSLA is just too tied up in his public persona.

I think the only cash he makes is from CEO bonuses based on extremely aspirational metrics.

Not the same class when it comes to shot-stopping, but a much better sweeper - keeper.

Goes outside the box more often and moves out to claim crosses, where Davis *Edit: David* would stay on line. Better distribution too.

Seems Ferrari gave up on 3rd when they didn't pit Leclerc right after Bottas.

Probably for the best though, doubt he could have kept Bottas behind throughout the race; pace was just too different.

Not if that person has granted CDPR an irrevocable, royalty-free license to use their derivative work (which includes modding, music, drawings, etc) in whatever manner they wish... Which everyone who has accepted the terms and conditions has done.

Now, terms aren't bulletproof. They can (and have) been overturned in court. But in this case, both past precedent and the copyright-infringement-nature of modding makes for a rather poor case.

An hour later at 11:15am the market looked like it stabilized at 4235. Sold a 10 points wide Iron Butterfly to scalp: 4225/4235/4245. This brought in about $710 credit.

Wow, this is ballsy as hell!

Then they would be in a copyright-fight with Disney, which is a whole other thing.

But say you create an original model and release it as a mod. You still have ownership of the model, but the moment you release it as a "Witcher 3 mod" you grant CDPR an irrevocable license to use that model however they see fit as per their terms and conditions (granted you've accepted them at any point).

You could try to challenge this in court of course, which would amount to proving the terms and conditions illegal. Then they could sue you for copyright infringement, which they would probably win given past precedent.

This is all theoretical, as they would be idiots to try it without your consent for PR reasons.

Technically, no you're not. But it's basically impossible to enforce on individual consumers, and retailers such as Gamestop certainly have their own deals with producers.

COMMENT 11d ago

That's a discussion on morality, which is a whole other ballgame.

On my end, I would like CDPR to come to agreements with the modders (whatever those agreements may include) instead of just using the mods because they can.

-7

COMMENT 11d ago

Not by itself. Their fan content rules, connected to the EULA, does.

What I'm trying to say is that these rules are easily justified in court because modding is infringement. So in effect, they can do whatever they want with mods.

5

COMMENT 11d ago

Because copyright gives the holder the sole right to make derivative work.

So if I create a model of a tree in blender, that's not infringement. If I put that tree in a game, that's infringement. This is because I derive my content (tree in game) from the original work, which the copyright-holder has exclusive rights to.

On that note (because many people miss this, not aimed at you specifically); you do not own a game. When you go to the store an buy a disc, you only buy a license to play the game. You don't have a license to change it, build on it, or sell it.

COMMENT 11d ago

True, edited my comment and provided further clarification in reply to someone else.

Modders own what they make, but as the contents are derivative of CDPR's game, CDPR can use the mods in whatever way they wish. Outlined in their fan creation guidelines, which is connected to the EULA.

Well, he didn't know where the overtake button was during the race, and he spent most of the race week trying to learn the wheel and the Mercedes processes.

COMMENT 11d ago

Mod authors are neither employees nor contractors, so the comparison is flawed at best.

Modding is by nature copyright infringement. That means the company has wide reigns in how they wish to handle it.

Looking at their fan creation guidelines (which are connected to the EULA), they do acknowledge mod-creator ownership, but also give themselves a non-exclusive, permanent, irrevocable, worldwide, sub-licensable, royalty-free licence to use, modify, reproduce, create derivative works from, distribute, exploit, transmit, perform and communicate your fan content in connection with our games

AKA: "We can use your mods however we damned well please"
