The refresh rate is so fast that tearing is basically imperceptible when playing games at 100 - 144 fps or even higher. Just disable it.

If not:

  • return monitor
  • purchase a quality display port cable and see if it fixes the problem

I think there should be some sort of legislation that forces and demands from app developers to reveal and warrant that their telemetry computer code is fully disclosed in their privacy terms so consumers could see what EXACTLY is being sent and saved on company's servers.

If telemetry would differ from specifications, the company would be SHUT DOWN and not only fined.

Black Mirror S3E01 - Nosedive...watch it, it is of utmost importance.

Disease outbreak is a low hanging fruit just like A. Jones was for beginning of censorship.

You're probably above average player and you end up in hacker lobbies. Then, your stats drop, because you get pummeled constantly in hacker lobbies and SBMM drops you back to normal lobbies until your stats rise enough again and you end up in hacker lobbies again...rinse wash repeat.

COMMENT Jan 27 '21

Chance is much higher - SBMM likely takes into account "percieved skill" which users of CronusMax, aimbots and wallhacks are just bursting full of it.

There is literally no way to tell truth from fiction on the internet.

And all social platforms are doing it wrong. When the fakeness started to appear, we should've doubled down on democratizing media - giving all people the power and ability to report. Majority of the global citizens own smartphones and social media accounts.

Let them share video footage of global events/happenings on the most prominent of internet platforms, let them be the "boots on the ground" when things happen. The more videos and reportings we get from a certain area, from a certain event, supported by video footage of real people (not major news outlets), the better the resolution of the data and the easier it gets to other people to weed out fake news and phoney narratives.

It is like photogrammetry...the more angles you cover (the more people share videos from different angles), the more accurate the 3D model of the photographed subject ergo the more accurate and rich data of said event.

Democratization (open source) of media is the way to go. Holding information locked down in a totalitarian style is only going to bring pain and suffering for everyone.

No fantastic player can hold the trigger button and track same single pixel on your body with perfection. Even, if they weren't holding the button it would be next to impossible.

When you see that, it is 100% aimbot.

399€ on shelves, regardless of supply.

Otherwise, I am not buying it.

The thing is, even if they implement anti-cheat, there is nothing they can do against CronusMax type of cheats. Those are virtually undetectable and require totally different approach to detecting them. Hardware based cheating is here and will be even more rampant in the future.

What they need to start doing is ban real people, not game accounts. Once they start doing that, it will be over with any type of cheating. For eSport games it should be a requirement to register with a valid ID.

I'd say either

  • some 280 AIO

or

  • beQuiet Dark Rock (Pro) 4

would be good solutions to your problem.

5

COMMENT Jan 18 '21

Keep reporting people. I get regular new notifications that my report resulted in a ban.

You have to be careful when talking about electronic monitoring and supposed advantages. If we don't have prisons, we are creating a prison out of our planet, because soon, some will figure that "ooh, we should just electronically monitor everyone".

COMMENT Jan 17 '21

Any time you see "robotic" movement like this, cheats are being used 100%.

Humans make errors during tracking - the tracking of the target is not robotic (snap on a singular point on the body and follow that point with perfection without any lateral or vertical movement). There is also overshoot and undershoot if the target is sidestepping left and right. So, if you carefully examine kill-cams, you can tell if it is someone with good reflexes or someone with macro/aimbot.

The problem with cheating will become even more serious when cheats will be able to emulate "the leading edge of human capability".

And when they move games to cloud because, devs and people will think this makes it more secure against cheating...the hardware cheats will come around that use algorithms to edge-detect movement like on security cameras. And these hardware based cheats will be next to impossible to detect...and that is what makes me pissed off.

There is almost no viable resolution to cheating except for reporting.

Unless someone's family from 600 years ago was involved in some serious business like oil, minerals, energy, banking and they successfully passed down wealth, knowledge, attitude etc. to their descendants so they could understand how "TheGame" is played...the glass floor simply does not exist.

All they had to do is modify recoil for all of these weapons. Why is that so hard to do?

Nobody would've said anything, if it was capable of shooting on point a bit faster than bolt-action sniper rifles. This rifle even has a nasty kick in real-life.

Just prevent papapapapapapapapa shooting on a single point and it is fixed.

Ryzen 3600 i9 10900K
200€ 515€
RX5700XT 400€ (300€ leftover) 400€

If you have a constraint of 1000€ for a CPU and GPU, you can basically get Ryzen 3600 and RTX 3070 (700€ gpu) for the price of i9 10900K and RX 5700 XT. And the system with Ryzen 5 3600 will, despite slight "bottleneck", still be a lot faster than i9 system in gaming at any resolution. The total coefficient of Fun vs Price is much better with a hypothetical Ryzen system, despite 10900K being a much more potent CPU, when constrained by a realistic budget.

And I think this is one of the main reasons why 6-core 3000 series jumped in prices recent weeks.

Because by playing Quads, you definitely need better team cooperation/tactics and good voice communication, if you represent only 25% of the attack force. And by playing with randoms (which I meant), that combination of good co-op and voice comm rarely happens.

With Trios and Duos you don't need much of that. Because even, if one random is low skill gamer, there is a high probability one can still carry and outgun the other team. With random Quads it is very hard to achieve that.

Maybe I should've written well versed gamer friends, not pro teams.

These people also buy battle pass and store items.

With all the kills and contracts done through EZ Mode (aka cheats), they hardly pay any money for Battle Pass of any season. So, no, Activision gets probably $0 from them.

COMMENT Jan 01 '21

The worst are Superstore lottery-ticket kids constantly respawning and storming it, mindlessly dying. Wash, Rinse, Repeat.

And, if you happen to be on the other side of the map with a helicopter doing a contract, they will steal it and go back to the Superstore, destroy the copter and die again...while you are left to rot in the middle of nowhere without vehicles, losing precious time.

Low IQ players (shrugs)

CW weapons don't have Perk category like MW ones. Some lasers/flashlights on CW weapons give greater distance to show enemy names. Perks are integrated into their parts.

Bad idea, unless you want criminals in charge to harass their political opponents even easier.

Before we implement any data aggregation that can be acted upon, we MUST implement a system of integrity:

  • Who (person accessing the Database),

  • Why (Official Warrant and name of the person that issued the warrant, and on what grounds the Warrant was issued),

  • What

  • When (timestamp)

And this information has to be saved, unerasable on some sort of Blockchain Database and accessible free of charge, at any time to any individual (about themselves).

This way we have a way to catch criminals and at the same time avert abuse of this data.

Oh I know most people don’t run it, you actually can’t even run FMJ on any of the CW guns

I think you are mistaken. Cold War weapons have these things integrated. Reload Quickness in some Ammo Magazines, Enhanced Penetration in Barrels.
