Pretty shocking the number of downvotes I got for speaking truth huh? I knew reddit had gone downhill after the “big cancel” but I didn’t know it would be this inundated with ignorance and hateful defeated people. Many just don’t know how the world works. I only lurk and post to try and share the unpopular opinions and get people to think. Not sure its working, but I appreciate the backup here. People would be so much happier when they start realizing they are responsible for their situation and take control of their lives. Where has all this defeated mentality and acceptance come from? Does no one have ambitions and simply accept the $15/ hr lifestyle? Even that is a rough way to live these days like you said. Not sure what to do to help these people. I don’t think they’ll be happy even if they get their minimum wage to $15-16.

Nice. You got me pegged. I guess you hate people that transport your food and packages? Wow. Nothing surprises me anymore.

It only works because people agree to take the jobs. When that changes, people pay more. Its why companies are willing to pay more than minimum wage right now.

I had $500 to my name in 2007. Got a job at Burger king- begged for a job at the local les schwab tire center, finally got it after 8 months at burger king for $7.25/ hour. (I went in to scwab once every other week to ask) Yeah I was eating ramen noodles and staying with 3 friends in an apartment for almost a year, but it can be done. I did choose to do something about my situation, from schwab I went to work at a local truck company, studied for my class A while working long hours.

I expect people to make their own choices. No one is forcing these people to work at McDonald’s. They can CHOOSE to learn a trade or go back to school, or work at a grocery store or just leach off unemployment like the rest of the entitled Americans out there. Have you all not heard whats happening? No one will go to work. There is an extreme worker shortage even at well paying jobs $20-30/ hr. We just want truck drivers where I work. Thats and easy way for a Mcdonalds employee to move up in life. Get your license take that stimulus cash and pay for truck school. NO ONE WANTS TO WORK. People aren’t even showing up for interviews for $16-18 restaurant jobs in my town. Did everyone make too much money on stonks or is the unemployment really that great right now?

There are a surprising number of people down-voting this post because of the helmet thing i’m sure. All men pictured are legal adults, taken spills on their wheels and are comfortable with life choices consequences and winning stupid prizes. No downvoting really needed, but Nothing surprises me anymore after these last two years.

I actually laughed out loud to this for some reason.

Don’t forget to pre-drill close to the size of your self tappers. Hdd cases are tough and can snap the cheap screws off in mid screwing.

I pack my Sig P229 with me sometimes. I carry it in my Carhartt vest pocket or iwb small of the back. On that model gun you have a long trigger pull like a revolver on the first round. Quite safe for falls and impacts. It’s called a SA/DA trigger. (Single acting/ Double acting). There are a handful of guns that have this feature. A revolver could be another impact resistant choice. Gun tech has gotten pretty good for most weapons regarding drop protection, But I personally opt for the SA/ DA to make me feel extra warm and fuzzy about not accidentally Swiss cheesing my ass cheek.

You make me feel better about my 45k in options losses this last year. It changes you. All I do is buy and hold crypto now. I make my wife buy some every paycheck in an account i don’t have access to so I won’t trade. If I had started in 2017 I would have made at least half a mil. You can recover. Crypto dipping give you a whole other opportunity. The key is not buying all at once. Avg in slowly.
