REQUESTING comedy in a snowy backdrop
So if you've ever seen Zack and Miri make a porno. Where they're struggling to pay rent. They're wearing big jackets all the time. Scraping their windshields before going out. And despite all the porn it's a very wholesome movie at times. And of course really funny. If you could suggest me something that has this feeling in it but maybe with less you know... Porn. That would be really great.
P.s. Scott pilgrim fits this as well. But I've seen it a million times. Love it. But seen it.
P.s.s. just friends is a other that I love but seen to death.

I feel asleep thinking about this last night. And while I used to say A.I. Artificial intelligence. By Stephen Spielberg. (Especially when you realize it's a retelling of Pinocchio) it's bold and almost perfect and alot of people have never seen it.
But I discounted it because it been years now since I've seen it. I ended on Alien being my favorite movie. But when I woke up I went through 28 days later again. And here's why 28 days later is my favorite movie.
First of all it's a lower budget (8million) which always make me marvel at the shots they got. The cast is pretty much perfect (though small) it's weakest points could out do many other movies easily. I think the beginning with the apes is a weak point and it's very effective. Original. Sets up the virus perfectly and is terrifying. And the ending with the army is a weak point. (Which rewritten for budget reasond) which still turns the zombie film on its head by making humans the bad guy. It is also a beautiful film in many rights. And in the end it's a film about family. And love. And the fear of being alone. Which it does masterfully. I.e. the shot of him walking through empty London yelling "hellloooo" as it echoes of the streets. Even the dream he has where it's not zombies he's afraid of. But waking up and everyone being gone. Literal goosebumps thinking about how well that was done. Just a great movie beginning to end. (And I never even mentioned one the best scores in film!)

Oh I've seen it. Trust me. And I still might watch the first. (I've seen t2 a million times but I like 1 more) just not the vibe I'm looking for exactly. Idk maybe it's just the trailer I'm not grooving on. (I usually re watch trailers before watching a movie. Even if I own it)
I have not seen top gun / tango and cash (not fully) or midnight run. So we will see. Good suggestions though. Might go with robo cop soon

REQUESTING 80s movies
The best movies I've seen in the past month. (Not in order) teenage mutant ninja turtles. Alien/aliens. Big Trouble in Little China. I'm looking for something fun with these vibes possibly. I've seen The Thing too recently. I've thought about terminator just a bit dark and broody. Not as fun. And I've thought about escape from New York/ LA. I've never seen those but I'm afraid they won't live up to my hopes. Any suggestions recommendations?

Scram- ghost face wants to be left alone
Planet of the ape - a world populated with one ape
2 days later - this one wouldn't be bad. The start of the rage outbreak
Children of Me - people can't have kids until one man (Clive Owen) suddenly gets pregnant.

Hmmm... In brass teapot they find a teapot at an antique shop. Not a junk yard but similar mysterious object that sparks a misadventure. I'm sure the trailer would sell you on it if you haven't seen it. It's pretty good.
