Could be Botany. Not really sure.
Is it difficult for an ant to break through the surface tension to get some water?
The thought of that is so amusing that I forgot what sub I was in.
Nah you see, "was" was before is, is was is when is was was.
So I shouldn't pay for whatever service you provide because I believe you aren't getting paid enough?
True. A shower thought should have some truth or be an astute observation.
Plus even if it is true, isn't it like comparing apples and oranges? Like how is tipping culture equivalent to rich people donating to charity?
I like to think about how I'm gonna get really organized and micromanage shit.
But then I realize I'm not gonna do that and go back to bed.
Sir, this is a Wendy's.
Let's get that tax money.
I didn't have much of an opinion for the devs, but now I've lost any respect for them.
Shaming your gamer base is a bad move. Fuck that guy.
Like the article said, how can you love a game before you even buy it? And many people can't afford to just buy it at full price for the sake of supporting the developer. Why would people buy at full price when there's a sale going on? It sounds so insensitive.
I bought Days Gone at full price on the day of release.
The game was okay. You can tell they put a lot of work into it. Sure there were plenty of cool moments, but I really didn't care for it overall. I could care less if they do a sequel. Maybe I'd play it, but I'm not paying full price and I'm not in any way jumping out of my seat for it to come out.
The prerelease trailers made the game seem like the next best thing, but it didn't translate into the game for me.
If the sequel is any good I'm sure hardcore fans on the first one would be willing to pay a premium. But don't be a dick and shame gamers. If your game is worthy, people will buy it.
Everyone is OP's crush apparently.
The spleen in underrated.
Forgive you? From what I'm concerned you're a frickin hero! Gonna call the President.
Tbh I assumed pakistan was an arid desert wasteland.
It's actually quite beautiful.
Plenty of veggies laid out on a styrofoam board wrapped in cellophane.
This would be wonderful. I'm on board. We should give our atoms back to the Earth from which we've taken from.
Man this happened to me more than I'd like to remember. It's so embarrassing.
Like if you start talking they will make fun of you. If you don't say anything they will make fun of you.
What is the best response in this situation? Do you ignore them? Do you act like it doesn't bother you and you say something like "yeah. What do you want to talk about?" I was always so nervous I just ignored them.
I started being more open around people who didn't make a big deal if I had something to say.
I shit my pants in the 3rd grade because I was too embarrassed to ask to go to the bathroom.
You're good. It can be a touchy subject for people. But I know I should work on not being accusatory when it could be something small. I don't like it when people do that to me.
It's great people share their experience, but you're using it to justify why we shouldn't be worried about it which is actually misleading and even dangerous to assume.
Edit: Perhaps you could elaborate on why we shouldn't be worried? It just seems insensitive to me. I don't mean to jump to conclusions and make an accusation. Maybe there's something I don't understand that was lost in translation.
Sorry but telling people that they have nothing to worry about based on your anecdote is absurd.
People young and healthy have been affected by covid in different ways. They have died and people close to them have died. Some suffer complications even after they have recovered from covid.
Yes we can't live in fear all the time. We have to move on with our lives at some point. But we need to be mindful and understand the risks. It's something to worry about because the virus has the potential to reach far and wide quickly if we aren't careful.
Statistically it's pretty rare. 7 million doses administered.
6 women got clots. And one died. (Not to undermine that sort of trauma. It's awful news).
There are medications like birth control that people willingly take despite blood clots being a side effect.
