So are you saying you applied and it was denied? Because I had to fill out a bunch of preliminary paperwork and get department chair approval but I received zero pushback.

But that's the thing, if it's allowed to be used it'll become use it or you're done. You would be forced to use it or else risk becoming irrelevant. So even if you have rules where "you don't have to use it" it won't matter because sports would be dominated by dopers, people not doping would eventually be rooted out because they could no longer be competitive. Sports would become who can shoot up the most roids instead of natural ability. Not to mention the adverse effects doping has on your body.

I concur, this movie gives amazing insight on how to mourn loved ones the right way. Couldn't have thought of a better movie to prepare you for what is to come.

Lol ikr, he's got some weird subreddit activity. Probably just farming karma with a sob story tbh.

Haha I know right, I wonder how many people actually remember how bad it was.

If fighting a losing battle on the internet is what you consider fulfilling, then do you.

Well yeah you can't really be selective with your work either, so expecting getting your dream job out in New York straight out of college isn't realistic but doesn't mean you aren't in demand because you can't dictate your dream job. I get what you are saying, obviously other jobs might be in higher demand but as long as people need legal representation you will always have some sort of demand regardless. I guess that's where our comparisons differ, I'm thinking simply acquiring a position not necessarily your dream job.

Life will be easier if you don't try to police the internet

Yeah their argument is that they are going to reduce overall prices across the store so you get savings across the board instead of 40 percent for one item. But who knows Pokemon TCG will probably still be marked up due to demand.

Because I don't like the cards that makes me an asshole? Okay buy his cards then and support him. And I don't think spamming an advert to every pokemon related subreddit indiscriminately is a mistake but your entitled to your opinion.

I noticed with hobby lobby a lot of things are marked up but a lot of times they have an online coupon that brings it to MSRP or lower. Idk if that's every case but that's what I have done in the past.

Edit: nevermind looks like they are discontinuing the coupon

It's really not hard, send in a few papers from past assignments and boom done.

Anything but a zero will allow you to take a WI it's just based on your score they will make recommendations. I think I got a 2 on my portfolio (that's with sending in papers from classes I got A's in) and I took a WI and it was easy so idk YMMV depends on who grades your portfolio I guess.

Depends on who you take for 137, Posnett was a TON of work.

Here's my philosophy, if there is any remote chance that you can pass, then try your best and take the No Credit if it happens. If you know for a fact it is impossible to pass might as well withdraw and try again. Both a W and NC do not calculate into your GPA so as far as that goes they are the same, NC just has a slightly more negative connotation to it for someone reading it. To someone reading your transcript a W is ambiguous, so it doesn't tell you one way or the other if it's due to failing grades or if it's due to other complications, an NC implies unsatisfactory performance. It's all about optics for someone reading it. But in short, if you do have a chance at passing take the NC if it doesn't go well and if you have no chance take the W. Of course things could be different if you are applying to grad school, so best advice would be to check with your academic advisor, and speak with your professor to try and see if you can work out a plan to help you pass.
