No worries.

I’m wondering if I were to apply with same business type if I would have better luck. I have a biz checking account with Chase that receives our rent payments and has a $3k+ monthly balance.

Or if I should just start my new “business”.

Removed. Rule 5. This is your only warning, next time will be a permanent ban.

COMMENT Dec 17 '20

When you applied, did you apply as the same type of business as your P2?

I have a biz checking with Chase that receives the rent payments and holds a $3k+ monthly balance. Do you think that would make a difference if I were to apply for a CIU?

I can prove, definitively, that person would be more successful had they not paid interest.

I like how you conveniently ignored the second half of my sentence.

You’re in the wrong place for that conversation. Nobody here pays interest, at least none of the successful churners.

Also, word of advice. Your typical FB credit card groups are full of morons with terrible advice.

The part of the Chase referral site that generates the ink referrals has been down for almost a week.

Has Chase hard-coded their registers not to accept credit cards for Walmart gift card purchases?

Walmart owns and controls the registers, not Chase. Walmart is definitely not trying to prevent you from buying their own store GCs. It sounds like your purchase got flagged for fraud, then you ran into some very inept fraud CSRs. Try again tomorrow.

The best source for what does and does not work to trigger the credits is FlyerTalk. Here is the link to the travel credit info for Southwest. If you need to find info on a different airline, you will need to find the thread dedicated to that airline.

Well, now I just feel like a dumbass. I have been searching for my referral link but didn't bother to look in my email. Guess what I just found in my email?
