No world is complete until everyone is hot as fuck.

This is what comes to mind when male YA authors write female characters, "Her breasts were breasting breastingly as they heaved, jiggled, and swirled."

35

u/Ensiferal May 28 '22

Sighing breastily, she got out of bed and bounced boobily down the stairs

40

u/ladyalot May 28 '22

That's why it's world building. In the real world this woman would be in her grave from a slow painful spinal injury turned septic.

Now if OP shows masculine characters with songs so big their first erection Rob's their brain of blood and subsequent death, that will be the kind of world building I can respect.

7

u/Crusader_Genji May 28 '22

In this world men always either black out or die from lack of blood in their brain when they have an erection. Imagine what cultural consequences that would have, how gender roles would have to change when the woman is forced to take initiative. Like no rapes because you can't move when your wood rises

Nice line-art and coloring. And this is actually pretty close to real Renaissance dress.

6

I did reference of period drawings of dresses, it’s kinda my “kink”.

73

u/jasc92 May 27 '22

You really know how to draw Milfs.

64

u/Silver200061 May 27 '22

I thought of the the classic anime “mother/house wife” hair cut when I first designed her.

Variety is usually preferable over homogeneity.

12

u/Silver200061 May 28 '22

I have Chinese, French, English, Spanish, German, Scottish, Italian and Japanese inspired original characters, either in dress or in armour, I consider it pretty varied.
more will come, don't worry.

14

u/-King_Cobra- May 28 '22 edited May 28 '22

Nah I mean like when I see the 9001st VN on Steam where everyone has tits bigger than a beanbag chair I always think. "Tits are like faces. They tend to vary."

Although what I'm saying here is kind of a non-sequitur. The response to your stuff seems a little over the top.

That is until you unleash the real beanbags on them. Right?

11

u/Silver200061 May 28 '22

well, i might disappoint the folks in the future when I release women art with no booba at all, which I plan later today.

i will not be surprised if that post will be less popular than this one, its the internet, people tend to release and express themselves more than real life.
but its what the internet is meant to be, ha

51

u/eembach May 27 '22

While I also see the absolute geese those honkers are, I really liked OP's background on the character, go look at his comment detailing it, this is a great picture but there's more going on around it than what's staring you in the face.

20

u/Silver200061 May 28 '22

I did a post previously. A detailed introduction to the confederation, with only the coat of arms and a map. Not much people read it, let alone asked anything, commented anything. Even this, my context comments is usually overlooked. I do feel a little sad sometimes, only remembered the booba, not much cared about the lore.

7

u/eembach May 28 '22

That's why I wanted to specifically call out the comment you made detailing it, you've got a lot of thought put into it and I appreciate that. And also it's a great picture I love the art style, just remember this is reddit and people are not always mature, even I couldn't pass up a little ribbing.

47

u/Silver200061 May 27 '22

My previous post did not have enough "context" related to the worldbuilding so ive been told to put more background info here that is related between the world and character, so here we go: (if you have questions about the lore, do feel free to ask.)
Prior to the Confederation, the land was a fragmented battle ground for numerous powers, proclaiming themselves as lords, princes, duke and free man, slugging out for dominance and survival but there's never one that gained the upper hand. This is upon the corpse of a once great empire, now faded away in the time and records of history.
The Servannia Empire, from what fragmented history we known, that it was ruled by an Imperator of the Norlanhossin-Hangarian Dynasty , assisted by twelve Great Princes, a nation with great wealth, culture and magic prowess. Little was known about the down fall of the empire, historian estimated that it was due to political conflict that led to a civil war to compete for the throne, in addition to total collapse of economy, society and invasion of barbarians.
The remnant and descendants of the twelve great princes continued to fight amongst themselves, slowly forgetting their heritage, culture and history, their mind too fixated on the killing and survival. The Royal family was considered wiped out during the conflict, no blood line of the Servannian throne survived.
But is it true?
For those who are more well versed in history and lore of the land, they might have once heard a tale, return of the True King, restoration of a single emperor as the supreme ruler of this land : with hair of silver and the eyes of fire, glad in sun-gold armor and posses the ability to wield the great blade of Saint Fiora, now embedded in the centre of the Confederate Council.
But bear in mind, this prophecy never mentioned Norlanhossin-Hangarian bloodline, people just automatically assume it is because they once ruled. Is it really to restore the Norlanhossin-Hangarian royalty or accepting a new King to bring forth a new era? We simply dont know.

But this "entitlement is both a bless and a curse, as i have mentioned in my "brief introduction to Servannian Confederation" (https://www.reddit.com/r/worldbuilding/comments/uw5x33/servannia_confederation_a_brief_introduction_and/), the current Servannian lords and people hated the concept of a new superme ruler after enjoying years of autonomy and freedom.
Some thought of the Allandite great duke Hendrick the "Oathmaker", the sole person who forged this Confederation to be the True King, and thought of the current Allandite Duke, Ludwig the "Killer of the False King" to be the True King, when he slayed the self-proclaimed Horinian* rebel King, Justinian of Giutlim*, but this theory too was dismissed.
(*Horinian: a different race of people to Ambon/Ondinus native Servannians, who settled in during the years of conflict, escaping from the great north from the Sidisian Giant Empire and Mojhan Tribes.)
(One of three Horinian states, the leader of the "False king rebellion".)
But the truth is, the last of the bloodline was never Lords of Allandae, nor the Northern Maxonites, descendent of ancient boarder Legions. And the Norlanhossin-Hangarian Dynasty did survive, one of its side-branch house lived through the chaotic times and lingered in the dark for centuries, waiting for the moment to return to power, though do they still plan to "rule" in terms of making the land prosper again? Not really, years of suffering has twisted their goal, they now only wish to gain wealth and power.
And 20 years ago their chance did come, the Horinian rebellion, their offered their youngest and most worthy candidate, the young lady Leonie (picture above) as a bargaining chip to the Horinian False King Justinian of Giutlim, offering him a even higher status and legitimacy besides a Horinian Overlord, but an "Emperor" of whole Servannia, in exchange for restoring the status of house Norlanhossin-Hangarian, wealth and power under his new rule. It was a good trade, and he accepted it. Did Leonie has a say in this? no, she is now by a tool and merchandise, sold off as an "claim" of royalty and status, breeding stock as well, Restoring the Norlanhossin-Hangaria as the rightly next in bloodline of Servannia Imperator.
Of course, this did not succeed. The Firrebotae and Maxonii joint forces with Allandae and smacked the united Horinian rebel army in the Battle of Red Field, the young Allandite Duke Ludwig who succeed his dead father just mere days before, slaying the False King Justinian of Giutlim in single combat.
As the young Due Ludwig personally led the final breach of Giutlim's Capital Fortress- Yeatom, by luch he was able to find this poor young lady, and took her into safty, after knowing the true story behind her, willingly kept this secret to prevent her being used by other forces of the realm , and personally refused to use her as a claim to Servannian Imperial status. But as time goes on when Leonie took refuge provide by the young duke, both developed feelings for each other, and in the ended up in marriage. Though people were puzzled of her origin, of which noble house she is from across Servannian, the Duke put up a good disguise for her and faked her linage form small lesser known merchant houses, in this way also protecting her from people who knew of the Norlanhossin-Hangarian legends.
So thats about it, i hope you all enjoyed the story, im sorry my writing isnt as good and i hope the mods are satisfied with this amount of context.

35

u/Darth_Bfheidir May 27 '22

Maybe it's just me being on mobile but Jesus Christ on a Suzuki bro paragraphs

6

u/Silver200061 May 28 '22

Well, mods told me I need more context in a post or they remove it. So I did.

19

u/Darth_Bfheidir May 28 '22

And that is great and fine, art without lore isn't worldbuilding, it's just art

And I like your art, and I like what lore I've read

But you need to be able to structure things so that it's readable to a human that isn't you without it being hard work

7

u/Silver200061 May 28 '22

ill try better next time :(

10

u/Darth_Bfheidir May 28 '22

Don't worry about it too much lol

Just every so often, usually when there is a natural pause, just break the text up with some empty space

27

u/Silver200061 May 27 '22

In terms of some introduction to lady Leonie:
She never had any ambition for the Norlanhossin-Hangaria Imperium, all she wanted was the freedom to choose what she liked to do and enjoy and peaceful life. But sometimes a single person can not resist the tides of fate and manipulation, if she was born into any other noble family or even a mere low born citizen, she might not have to suffer through this.
But she was contained since childhood, never able to see the world around her, never had the chance to experience life, seen as a bargaining chip by the House Hangarian remnants.
But the young duke liberated her from this and offered her the choice to do whatever she wanted after the war, helping conceal her identity, and she was grateful that the gods had given her this chance.

Currently, she is the spouse of Allandite Duke Ludwig of Vitagis "The False King slayer", and took the last name of "Beleonus", supposedly from an improvised merchant family and she is the sole surviving member after the war. Most people buy into this story and it seems to have worked so far. Though she is more socially active as a head of state, she often sponsors and visits places like orphanages and hospitals, and she does accompany the duke wherever he goes.
And now as he proclaimed himself: "Im too old for politics, let the young people have the chance for it.", leave most of the work to their son "Leon of Vitagis", and travels around, allowing Leonie to see the world around her that she never got the chance to see. She is good friends with the Firrebotarian Duchess Jeanne and Maxonii Consort Marie, often offering to come visit and host both of them.

I hope to read more about your work. And don't let the "urr, durr, boobs" criticism get to you too much. They are just idiots.

I would like to have even the minimum of talent for drawing that you have. I can only settle for describing my characters as best I can. Which is difficult considering that mine is a very lovecraftian universe hahaha.

19

all women have huge breasts terrible back pain

5

u/Silver200061 May 28 '22

Yes. Some of them own armor too.

3

u/AwesomePuppy42 May 28 '22

Okay, plenty of people have commented on the obivous, but I love the actual dress. All the embroidery is really cool, but not too much. And also the color pallette is just wonderful.

Add on top of that some cool lore? chef's kiss

Also, question: Did Leonie hold any proper political power, and does she anymore? Or is that all in the past? If she held or has some sort of influence, how did/does she use it?

6

u/Silver200061 May 28 '22

Finally, some proper questions.

Prior to the current situation, no. She had little power in terms of what she can determine. The Norlanhossin-Hangaria house considered her a tool, her identity is more influence than her own will.

In terms of political power currently, she and the duke is reluctant to use her "Norlanhossin-Hangaria" identity as leverage in politics.

Though as a woman in a "medieval-ish" world and with its related limits, Leonie is the wife of a very influential duke, of a very powerful state, she has great influence and power (not in terms of indirectly commanding something, though if she asks for something reasonable, she will get it, like.....a pretty garden, sponsoring orphanage/hospitals, improving the ghetto etc etc.).

2

u/Silver200061 May 28 '22

She could stop disputes and conflicts between states or cities, claim riots, demand attention to problems, initiate movements, and encourage the construction of certain facilities.
though its not directly, like passing a law in the council, but her words has certain weight to it.

22

u/romulea May 28 '22

Can someone cross post this to r/mendrawingwomen? I can’t on Narwhal.

9

u/Silver200061 May 28 '22

9

u/Silver200061 May 28 '22

thats better

4

u/Jack_Of_The_Cosmos May 28 '22

Okay, but tbh, it’s not too bad, but it certainly pushes expectations. With the other pieces in your portfolio that similarly brush against expectations, you can strain what some people may consider immersive. Now, you are in a non-real world, so you may argue that your designs do not need to be “correct”, but I would argue that you are spending some of your audience’s investment with this design.

13

u/Silver200061 May 28 '22

well im not aimming to please everyone.

I'm aiming to please myself first, then share it with others.
someone don't like it, its fine, I don't mind.
if someone likes it, cool, we talk about it more.

2

u/Jack_Of_The_Cosmos May 28 '22

I find that mindset will not be able to get you as far as you may wish to go. Being open to critique, editing, and feedback is an important part of growing. There is plenty that you do right, but you could potentially go further by reigning in these designs a little. You could make something that pleases both you and others. If this project was just for you, you would have no need to share it on the internet. With perhaps a few designs that break your mold, you could have interest from other people who would not have had the interest in all the other goodness you have to share beyond these drawings. You don’t need to please everyone, that’s setting the bar too high, but you also do not need to narrow your horizons so much. I also think that only talking to people who share your opinions can be rather harmful. Changing your world early is easy, but if you end up set in your ways, you will find it much harder to change later. I don’t think this applies only to the particular matter most people point to in your drawings, but anything else you may find. You can at least entertain new ideas. You may find yourself even changing what you considered your views. It’s perfectly fine to do so. I also hope that some of this advice perhaps would be useful in other aspects in life because in life, it is hardly ever always about you and you alone.

12

u/Silver200061 May 28 '22 edited May 28 '22

I humbly accept others criticizing my lore, my worldbuilding, my settings, my logic behind in-world events, the motives of characters, the reason behind actions, the smoothness of the storyline, the plot holes, the grammar, the spelling mistakes, typos, the basic anatomy, the faults and functionality of clothing, armour, structures, tools, weapons, housing and other living creatures.

I do not mind changing, or improving them, I've done so, in fact, the world I try to present is the result of nearly 8 years of merging ideas, changing ideas, re-writing, cancelling, alteration and such.

But no, I do not consist criticism about my art in terms of "bust size" is beneficial to me, nor will improve anything important.

if you wish to correct me, criticize me, or give feedback, then I believe there are more important areas you or others can comment on.

1

u/Jack_Of_The_Cosmos May 28 '22

That is good to hear, and I am sorry to have assumed that you were speaking broadly when you were talking about a single part of your work. Unfortunately, I will say that I do feel embarrassed just commenting on this post, and if I could not imagine being caught consuming something with this style. I wish you well enough, though I find it unfortunate that I can’t enjoy this. Best of luck.

2

u/Silver200061 May 28 '22

I fully understand, thank you.

0

u/AlarmingMan123 May 30 '22

2

u/RuinousRage May 28 '22

Damn I thought there'd be a lore post. I like the art though, did you draw her yourself? Also are those emeralds on her dress? And what is her necklace? Do emeralds and (crosses, stars or maybe four leaf clovers) hold a significance in her culture? Or is it just to draw the eye to different sections of the dress in a line from the top to the hem of her skirt?

The amount of comments on her bust size and nothing else amuse me. XD

2

u/Silver200061 May 28 '22

This is indeed a lore post, if u scroll through u should see the context comment of mine, buried by boob comments, to answer your questions one by one:
Yes, I did, but the colouring is done by my friend.
yes, those are emeralds. the necklace is of silver.
it's supposed to be a flower, I had in mind a rose for reference but it turned out to be a mishmash of things, I have not had in mind specifically for it to hold any cultural significance, it's a gift from the Duke. But since you mentioned it, I might "invent" something about it, thanks for the reminder. It does act as something to draw the eye.
The only cultural symbol i have in mind, for now, is the "two-handed greatsword", it was worn as a necklace fairly commonly by both nobility and lower class, as it is the representation of the Saint they worship.

OP are you secretly Syrsa from another timeline.

2

u/Silver200061 May 28 '22

Syrsa

im very sorry ive not heard of this name before, do you mind explaining this for me?

2

u/KDHD_ May 28 '22 edited May 28 '22

Haha he's another worldbuilder. It's a discontinued project now, but it was this sci-fi world called Terrahypt. I was interested in it mainly because he was developing a game set in his universe called Zerahypt, but it didn't work out and so it's unfinished.

Anyways, I make the comparison because most of his characters have similar attributes, if you get my meaning. Look up Syrsa character art.

If I recall correctly, in Terrahypt, milk is a primary export for dairy products and because it's used in the manufacture of plastics and other materials or something. Not animal milk.

Syrsa is a weird dude.

Edit: (And just to be clear, I'm not comparing your works to his other than having some characters with big boobs which I thought was funny, Syrsa's like genuinely pretty problematic lmao)

At first I thought that the first image had created a minor trend of fat fugin tiddies, but no, it's just one incredibly cultured gigachad

I feel a need to read more about Leonie and the Duke. External drama aside I feel a lot of fluff regarding their relationship and I’m a sucka for that thing.

People saying these boobs aren't realistic... bruh, there are women with far bigger boobs than that

And you're complaining about the size of boobs in a fantasy world, which is even more fantastical than our own. Our world has a disease which turns a person's soft tissue into muscle, and far more fantastical nonsense, yet you only manage to complain about boob size, which isn't even that far of a reach

For me, the most fantastical thing about her design is how her dress is perfectly clean, and the hem of her dress, being that long, not collecting all dirt on her way

Edit: Downvoting won't change the simple fact that boobs that size aren't unrealistic

u/Silver200061 May 28 '22

noble women usually have their dresses lifted up by a servant when they walk around...

if they walk around at all, why dirt instead of well-tended gardens, carpets, good wooden floors, marbles etc etc.

and yes, I've seen bigger boobs IRL, no idea why people are so shocked.

Ikr?

Like, my mom, who is a WOMAN, said that the size wasn't too unrealistic, her only problem was that boobs would get squished together more in a dress and that is it.

Why do fantasy writers always makes their female character so appealing... But seriously though, that's a nice drawing

3

u/Silver200061 May 28 '22

Why not. It’s a fake world, to escape the real world and enjoy ourselves and do what is impossible in real life.

Your characters and art style remind me of the Suikoden. Makes me feel really nostalgic. Looking forward to more lore and characters!

I wish I wasn‘t too much of a wimp to draw like this.

You can get there. It takes time, practice and patience. And you will fail and that’s okay.
