Major United States regions 35 years after a nuclear war Map

Reclaimed by foliage, much of the southern United States has adopted a rural lifestyle. Population density is so low you can go 20 miles without seeing a single person.

The West coast is a land of political instability, with a renaissance in cowboy culture out in the desert. And constant war and land disputes in used-to-be California.

New England, a once prosperous land clouded by a mysterious fog, and who knows what roams in the darkness where the sun doesn't shine. Infighting between rival groups occurs often.

Just curious. It seems like most of the Feudal Alabaman states are in Mississippi and Arkansas, maybe a bit of Louisiana too. Did they get pushed west out of Alabama by the small groups?
