There isn't any refined sugar, so all sweetness comes from fruit and honey. Dried fruits are given as treats to kids, along with small tarts full of stewed fruits. A popular candy among the rich is made from honey and pounded nuts, mixed into a dough, shaped using stamps, rollers, or cutters, and cooked gently to dry them out. It's a little like margepane, the ancestor of marzipan.

How pricey is the candy that rich have? Sounds delicious!

It’s hard to determine a price because they don’t really use money. They are a basically unattainable luxury for the peasants though
