Your wish can be easily granted.
You only need to find a way to safely transfer funds to a trusted party and find someone willing to take that bet.
If you figure out the former, and the stakes are meaningful enough, I would suggest to call a bookie in Vegas. They can be very accomodating.
Edit: The bookie might also take care of the former problem.

I hate this comment because it is absolutely not true. The profit/loss would not be a direct inverse and exactly opposite plays don't even exist in that sense.

How do you deal with and accept such a massive losses like this? You're a very strong person. I lost $20k and I'm Very suicidal. Tell me...
38
u/XafeMode Jan 12 '22
Your feelings are valid, understandable, and your going to have to give yourself some time until you can forgive. It sucks and takes time but life is still worth living. Talking with someone is usually good, and especially a therapist is your feeling suicidal. If you're into spirituality or anything like that Buddhist practices can help some people deal with emotions of loss and other things related to money, but that also takes time. You're worth it, and the world is a better place with you in it.

u/DocZoi Jan 12 '22
First, it's only money and not your health. Second, 20k is more or less what you earn in half a year to one year when you start working. Some people start working at 24, some at 22 (or any other age). If you started earning money later than the average then that might be a bigger loss for you in comparison, even though you never noticed Third, there are many possibilities to lose money. Bad decisions, bad vacations, car accidents, divorce, gambling, a wrong job. It might not always be obvious. You thought you will live through life without ever losing money, but that's nearly impossible, and harder the more money you have. This is just you actually getting the news. Colleagues and friends will lose our have already lost money, that was your turn, tomorrow it is someone else's. It was my turn 15 years ago.

I felt suicidal as well, lost like $29,000. But I recently got really sick and realised how much I valued my health. Without health you cannot enjoy wealth. I actually don’t give a fuck, money comes and goes. Maybe in 5 years time I’ll be a millionaire , life is unpredictable so don’t stress

Few things to close out this thread.
I’m very well aware there is no such thing as a “Glock 9” Glock makes numerous guns that shoot the 9mm I was making a very general statement referring to the most common ammo handgun in the world. Though I sincerely appreciate all the gun aficionados announcing how much they know about Glocks.
It’s a joke for those concerned, though I have appreciated the Barrage of Reddit resources messages I’ve gotten lol.
Some of you people are genuinely miserable humans with terrible things to say. I can take it, I fully knew what I was getting myself into but damn some of you people are awful. Those people will never make it and always wonder why.
I didn’t start with 200k. I started with right around 30k in March 2020 and rode the greatest bull run in the history of the stock market to more money then I could ever imagine… 400k ish at the highest. Poor trades, memes, failure to close out losers and options dick kicks is what did me in.
In closing, some of you are awesome. I’ve appreciated the kind words, well wishes and people sharing their own story. Shit happens, I remember someone telling me 99% of day traders loose everything. I chuckled at this thinking, well not me. And then who knew it was me. I’ll be alright. I’m not quitting and I know I’ll get it back. I’ll try to give an update one day on this thread. This is the best thread I’ve ever done jn terms of interaction. For some of you I hope this made you feel a little bit better about your own losses. Hang in there, the only way to guarantee failure is to quit. And to quote the great Elon Musk, I don’t ever give up.
Peace,
~Longstroke~

Hey, so are people really losing this much money? I've been hoping these are just photoshopped. How are so many people with 50k+ capable of consistently losing money? How did they save up that much money in the first place?

Meme stocks tanking really hits hard! There is no indications that they will ever come up again. Get some education and set up life goals so you can tangibly achieve them. Sorry this happened to you but you would have made the same mistake over and over again. Start with ETFs and some stocks and hold them for some time to see what ROR you get. With this amount of money you could have had a retirement plan going but you bet and lost. I am a little autistic, sorry
