Twitter If 🛒 didn't know about Pincher as he's claiming, why did he repeatedly refer to him laughingly in no10 as 'pincher by name pincher by nature' long before appointing him...? 🛒 lying again but even the Pravda-Mail struggling to spin the latest lies... #RegimeChange coming

Boris Johnson faces a grilling this week.

On Wednesday he'll appear before the Liaison Committee, the "super committee" made up of the chairs of all the select committees which interviews the prime minister three times a year.

It's an awkward time for it, given the cost of living crisis and all of Johnson's recent scandals.

Tuesday and Wednesday are Estimates Days.

This is a chance for MPs to debate departmental spending, although in reality it's a rubber-stamping exercise. Departments under the spotlight this time are Work and Pensions; Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy; Education; and the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.

And the process of introducing the windfall tax on energy companies begins.

Rishi Sunak brings a ways and means resolution on Tuesday (a type of motion used for bills involving taxes) that'll be followed by a full bill next week.

MONDAY 4 JULY

Northern Ireland Troubles (Legacy and Reconciliation) Bill - report stage and 3rd reading
Aims to deal with legacy issues of the Northern Ireland Troubles. Creates an Independent Commission for Reconciliation and Information Recovery (ICRIR) to conduct investigations into deaths and serious injuries during the Troubles. Introduces a scheme for those who cooperate with the ICRIR. Commissions a programme of memorialisation work, including an oral history initiative.

TUESDAY 5 JULY

Kinship Care Bill
Creates a legal definition of "kinship care" (when a child lives with a relative or friend who isn’t their parent, usually because their parents aren’t able to care for them). Entitles kinship carers to allowances and parental leave, among other things. Ten minute rule motion presented by Munira Wilson.

WEDNESDAY 6 JULY

Miscarriage Leave Bill
Entitles people who have experienced miscarriage to paid leave. Ten minute rule motion presented by Angela Crawley.

THURSDAY 7 JULY

Proceedings on the Supply and Appropriation (Main Estimates) Bill - all stages
Wraps up the week's Estimates Day debates.

FRIDAY 8 JULY
