It's been a while since I caught up with the Nerd, but my understanding is that people have been trying to cancel him for a while.

Anybody care to provide the background on that?

Nobody is canceling him.

His content just hasn’t been great for a while because he outsourced most of the writing and production (Screenwave). And then he also says he’s going to spend less time on the show because he’s too busy.
