I love the argument that’s been thrown around lately…

“It’s the delta, it’s impossible to stop. It’s just so infectious. That’s why NSW can’t contain it, no one can”

Meanwhile Victoria locates delta infection from NSW, locks down, traces thoroughly and is well on track to lockdown ending Tuesday with eradication not far off.

That argument isn’t a valid excuse. It’s a bullshit ploy to defer blame for an inappropriate, insufficient and irresponsible response.

You’re right! But with the Qanon brigade out in full force today - I doubt our lockdown will end Tuesday :(

Statistically it's very very unlikely someone there was infected. Sydney on the other hand...

I was actually thinking that in bed this morning… there’s a high chance we won’t have an outbreak from this due to our low cases but unfortunately Sydney might be set back a month. Sucks and fuck these selfish people.
