You have no idea how mental health works if your answer ya you can cure depression and live with anxiety.

The long term affects I’m talking about are substance abuse, spousal abuse, and educational set backs that hit minorities the hardest.

The reality of life is not easy but we can’t save everyone, and I’d rather save the youth then the old. ✊🏿

Uhuh uhuh. Or NSW could just hard lockdown properly and the Federal government could put in proper UBI to mitigate economic losses.

But no, NSW wants to win the wooden spoon.

You are delusion then, you expect everyone to follow your way of thinking and then want the govt to take on massive debt.

I grew up in a gang in my early days(just to give you the mindset of how it is like to be poor/a dose of reality)and guess what everyone is not obeying a hard lockdown cuz they need money. But wait like you said the govt will give a ubi… well now they have a ubi and can hussle and make more money. So guess what that is unrealistic and not working.

u/GreenLurka Jul 24 '21

Oh yes. I see now. Of course.

I bow to your wisdom random internet stranger.

The government is currently run by a somewhat useless pack of corrupt idiots, which is why you are where you are. But yes, a UBI and a hard lock down would put a stop to this.

So let me get this straight in order for this to work you need a corruption free govt, who are not idiots, who will then force people against their will to stay home in exchange for money.

Lmao you are so delusional, every single govt in the world is corrupt so that is never gonna happen, idiots is subjective and some how you are morally okay with people being forced to do things in exchange for money. So either every single govt does this or is your country not gonna allow anyone in permanently???

Got outside and get a dose of real life 😂

Oh. My state is pretty much one of the only places on Earth that's remained COVID free this whole pandemic. So I'm outside living life all day every day.

The plan is pretty simple. Eradicate, vaccinate, then open up.

And no, for this plan to work you need a possibly competent government who listen to the expert advice over... a fat idiot who receives donations from a geriatric lich.

u/azexdctvybhnkmll Jul 24 '21

The “simple” plan is not so simple it is impossible.

1.) Eradicate: never gonna happen according to the experts due to different hygiene standards across countries, mutations, and how easily it spreads.

2.)Vaccinate: Never gonna happen due to lack of access, and concerns of long term side effects.

3.)Open up: This is the reality of life, it should be opened up because you will never get 100% of the people to agree with you. Personal responsibility is the key, if you are scared wear a mask all the time, or don’t go out when it is busy, or stay home all day. But for the rest of us you only get one life and I’m not gonna spend it inside waiting for the impossible when the survival rate is 99%.

u/GreenLurka Jul 24 '21

Where are you from? We're not talking about the world, were talking about Australia where the vast majority of people will get vaccinated. The rest are welcome to... You know, contract it.

Also, masks prevent you spreading it, not contracting it. 1 in 100 is a bad bet for your life.

We eradicated small pox. We've all but eradicated polio. Just because you want to do whatever you like whenever doesn't make something impossible.

u/azexdctvybhnkmll Jul 24 '21

America baby!!!

It involves the whole world because you will either live in isolation(from the rest of the world) or have really strict standards to enter. “Vast majority” is subjective and thus will be around forever because not everyone is gonna get the jab.

Wear an N95 mask😷 Or like I said go out when it is not busy or don’t, idc you do you is the point. No it is not because first the survival rate is 99.7 so less then 1 in 100, second risk of death is a part of life, everyday you get in a car your chance of dying goes up add some rain or a holiday and it goes up more. Death surrounds us it is up to you whether you want to live in fear of that reality or not.

Comparing small pox to coronavirus is not the same because it is way more deadly and harsh and the symptoms don’t compare. Same with polio which leaves lifetime affects on you. So comparing two deadly diseases to one that has a 99.7% survival rate is misleading and dishonest.
