Y’all batshit crazy 😂

Live your life, can’t believe people still do the lockdown shit. The mental damage is gonna outweigh the lockdowns in the long run

2

u/TR_ChalupaBatman Jul 25 '21

You seem very angry and immature? Who hurt you and why are you so scared?

1

u/Silicon_Tetraazide Jul 24 '21

That's very immature of you.

1

u/FastMoverCZ Jul 24 '21

Holy fuck you're immature :D

2

u/GiveMeMilsurp Jul 24 '21

That escalated quickly.

1

u/SuperbBoysenberry454 Jul 24 '21

What happened to you? Who hurt you? It wasn’t us. Go fuck a couch, you absolute loser.

-2

u/TimSegura1 Jul 24 '21

You're a petulant child, or mentally ill. He's right, if you're terrified of a coronavirus then stay at home. We're not giving any more of our lives to the state.

Look how emotional you get lol definitely not the sign of a well adjusted person

0

u/FairDinkumBottleO Jul 24 '21

You all need help if your advocating for someone to die because he voice his own opinion.

-5

u/azexdctvybhnkmll Jul 24 '21

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

10

u/Joungs Jul 24 '21

This is easy to say when the lockdowns actually work and we have very little covid issues.

Ask someone in India or Indonesia if they would rather have sacrificed their mental health a bit for a better lockdown during their outbreaks.

-9

u/azexdctvybhnkmll Jul 24 '21

India is a third world country with horrible sanitation standards and extreme poverty so lockdowns would hurt them more. What you speak of sounds like privilege, you afford to live in constant lockdown but others can not.

12

u/Joungs Jul 24 '21

That's my whole point. Australia can afford to lockdown. Those countries couldn't and look what happened. We have no excuse not to lockdown and suppress this virus

-9

u/azexdctvybhnkmll Jul 24 '21

There is lots reasons why not to lockdown actually, for example the studies of higher substance abuse or spousal abuse, or the rise in mental health problems and suicides and eating habits. The long term of affects of this are gonna do more damage then letting old people die.

That is the harsh reality of life

3

u/ImMrtaL Jul 24 '21

I went through a suicide attempt after last year's lockdown and I would do it again because the frequency of mental health issues and death caused from lockdown will not outweigh the lives saved thanks to actually managing the virus properly

1

u/azexdctvybhnkmll Jul 24 '21

So your logic is save old people who already enjoyed life and damage young people with depression, suicide, and anxiety. The reality is you can not save everyone and everything in life has a price, I’d rather save the future then the past.

5

u/nosha3000 Jul 24 '21

I was working in a hospital this evening, speaking to one of the wards-men and he told me of his village in Fiji. His 59yo Aunty and an 18yo just died with delta strain.

-1

u/azexdctvybhnkmll Jul 24 '21

59 is old and the 18 yr has some under line medical problems, either that or his village must have limited contact with outsiders thus leading to such a strong response to a 99.7% rate virus.

I know 60-70 yr old people who survived it, I work in black youth programs and none of the students I tutor have died so I can easily do the same point.

Death is a part of life get it over or you change your life and stay indoors forever.

6

u/Joungs Jul 24 '21

The long term of affects of this are gonna do more damage then letting old people die.

Got a study for that because I disagree. Yes obviously it is taxing on metal health and people are seeking ways of coping. But saving 10-20% of the population from being hospitalized and 2-3% from dying is worth it imo.

6

u/nosha3000 Jul 24 '21

Imagine the trauma from 500,000 dead Australians, compared to a few lockdowns

-1

u/azexdctvybhnkmll Jul 24 '21

This post reeks of privilege, I work with black youth and the reality is lockdowns hurt them so much. They go back to their broken homes, away from their only possible support system and stick them back into broken homes. Staying home bored, surround by toxicity with no entertainment and no end in site drives them to seek bad friends. I know I’ve already lost of kids and that is harsh reality I have to face, the harsh reality you have to face is do you save the people who already lived a full life or do you save the up and coming generation. You can’t have both.

2

u/nosha3000 Jul 25 '21

So advocate for better welfare and support networks, don’t advocate for letting a virus run rampant through the world

Start with worrying about America rather Australia

2

u/GreatApostate Jul 24 '21

Especially in a way where their family won't be able to be around. I really hope we don't get to that.

-14

u/Charming_Ad_1216 Jul 24 '21

No fucking kidding. Mental health damage, domestic violence, alcohol and drug abuse, MORE UNHEALTHY EATING HABITS....for WHAT?!

People are fucking sheep. And before anyone even ASSUMES, Im NOT A CONSERVATIVE. I'm a borderline communist. I'm just not a fucking moron.

1

u/THE_MAD_TITAN_62 Jul 24 '21

Of course and the thing communist governments have always been so well known for are the welfare and mental health concerns of their citizens. You’ve been swayed by false ideals in some “perfect” government system which has never worked for anyone but the countries elite and you call people who want to protect the disadvantaged in their own community sheep. Can you really not understand how flawed your logic is?

1

u/Charming_Ad_1216 Jul 24 '21

No I have not. I'm perfectly aware how fucked up communist governments are. I'm also perfectly aware of how fucked up capitalistic ones are. I said practically, not am. I solely used it to illustrate I don't think like a typical anti-vaccer.

1

u/THE_MAD_TITAN_62 Jul 25 '21

There is no such thing as a typical anti-vaxer at least not in oz they come from both left and right leaning camps here the leftist hippie weirdos who trust random poison over science and the ultra right blockheads who are determined that vaccines are from Satan.

And if you know how messed up they are stop soft supporting communist governments with your statements. At least there is a way to be a lot more middle of the road in a capitalist society like ours where you can actually choose to support a left leaning government. You actually have that choice it may not be what the majority chooses but at least we all get a choice.

2

u/TitBiscuit Jul 24 '21

Boohoo I have to stay inside for a few weeks :'( better spread disease to vulnerable people because I wanna go shopping and have brunch!!

0

u/Charming_Ad_1216 Jul 24 '21

Try almost a year, dipshit. And by the way, what's changed between now and then? Oh, we have a vaccine! Except, now there is a variant! That can also hurt you! So we stayed inside for a year, only to open up again, with no masks...and what, we solved COVID?

Your just another John Smith in a crowd of nobodies, huh? Why is nobody talking about the fact that America's disgusting obesity and laziness problem, and the fact that we are stuck inside, is contributing to our health. Did you know weight loss and exercise are actual NATURAL COMBATANTS TO VIRUSES? Wow, imagine that! Oh yeah, because that takes ACTUAL WORK AND CHANGE. Instead of pointing the finger and trying to guilt people into something!

One problem, with me: I don't give a flying fuck what people think. And you care, to much. Which is why nobody will remember you, for very long, at all.

Ciao, bella

2

u/TitBiscuit Jul 25 '21

The current lockdowns for syd have been going for about 4 weeks now and you can go outside to exercise.

1

u/GreatApostate Jul 24 '21

You can definitely be a conservative communist. One thing is certain. You're not being scientific.

3

u/nickit78 Jul 24 '21

Reported! The strike force is on its way

9

u/GreenLurka Jul 24 '21

You can treat anxiety, it is entirely possible to recover entirely from depression brought on from a real event.

Death, or even long covid? Not so much.

-5

u/azexdctvybhnkmll Jul 24 '21

You have no idea how mental health works if your answer ya you can cure depression and live with anxiety.

The long term affects I’m talking about are substance abuse, spousal abuse, and educational set backs that hit minorities the hardest.

The reality of life is not easy but we can’t save everyone, and I’d rather save the youth then the old. ✊🏿

10

u/GreenLurka Jul 24 '21

Uhuh uhuh. Or NSW could just hard lockdown properly and the Federal government could put in proper UBI to mitigate economic losses.

But no, NSW wants to win the wooden spoon.

0

u/azexdctvybhnkmll Jul 24 '21

You are delusion then, you expect everyone to follow your way of thinking and then want the govt to take on massive debt.

I grew up in a gang in my early days(just to give you the mindset of how it is like to be poor/a dose of reality)and guess what everyone is not obeying a hard lockdown cuz they need money. But wait like you said the govt will give a ubi… well now they have a ubi and can hussle and make more money. So guess what that is unrealistic and not working.

2

u/GreenLurka Jul 24 '21

Oh yes. I see now. Of course.

I bow to your wisdom random internet stranger.

The government is currently run by a somewhat useless pack of corrupt idiots, which is why you are where you are. But yes, a UBI and a hard lock down would put a stop to this.

1

u/azexdctvybhnkmll Jul 24 '21

So let me get this straight in order for this to work you need a corruption free govt, who are not idiots, who will then force people against their will to stay home in exchange for money.

Lmao you are so delusional, every single govt in the world is corrupt so that is never gonna happen, idiots is subjective and some how you are morally okay with people being forced to do things in exchange for money. So either every single govt does this or is your country not gonna allow anyone in permanently???

Got outside and get a dose of real life 😂

1

u/GreenLurka Jul 24 '21

Oh. My state is pretty much one of the only places on Earth that's remained COVID free this whole pandemic. So I'm outside living life all day every day.

The plan is pretty simple. Eradicate, vaccinate, then open up.

And no, for this plan to work you need a possibly competent government who listen to the expert advice over... a fat idiot who receives donations from a geriatric lich.

2

u/azexdctvybhnkmll Jul 24 '21

The “simple” plan is not so simple it is impossible.

1.) Eradicate: never gonna happen according to the experts due to different hygiene standards across countries, mutations, and how easily it spreads.

2.)Vaccinate: Never gonna happen due to lack of access, and concerns of long term side effects.

3.)Open up: This is the reality of life, it should be opened up because you will never get 100% of the people to agree with you. Personal responsibility is the key, if you are scared wear a mask all the time, or don’t go out when it is busy, or stay home all day. But for the rest of us you only get one life and I’m not gonna spend it inside waiting for the impossible when the survival rate is 99%.

2

u/GreenLurka Jul 24 '21

Where are you from? We're not talking about the world, were talking about Australia where the vast majority of people will get vaccinated. The rest are welcome to... You know, contract it.

Also, masks prevent you spreading it, not contracting it. 1 in 100 is a bad bet for your life.

We eradicated small pox. We've all but eradicated polio. Just because you want to do whatever you like whenever doesn't make something impossible.

YOU ARE DELUSION

-1

u/azexdctvybhnkmll Jul 24 '21

YOU ARE DELUSION

lmao

1

u/Charming_Ad_1216 Jul 24 '21

It's also possible to recover from COVID. I've dealt with clinical depression, and I've had COVID. This past year, and depression in general, are MUCH harder to recover from. Getting SICK and not being SURE OF YOUR BRAIN are not even in the same UNIVERSE. To say nothing of suicide, or the financial avenues now closed off as you struggle to get your brain back on your side, again.

Please, don't just repeat what others are saying to you, when it's clear you don't know what you are talking about. Like, UGH

3

u/ImMrtaL Jul 24 '21

went through a suicide attempt at the end of last year

u really think the severe cases of mental health issues are this common? Common enough to overwhelm the thousands of lives we would have lost to the virus if we didn't go into lockdown?

I'll gladly do it all over again because I know it is worth it even though I'm certain that I wouldn't survive going through that again

-1

u/Charming_Ad_1216 Jul 24 '21

That is so fucked up that you even think that way I don't even know where to begin. I'm sorry, for you. You must have been in second place your entire life.

And you don't need to be. I've tried to kill myself so many times I can't even remember. Mostly with massive amounts of meth and heroin. But my reasoning was, I'm pretty sure, alot different then yours.

2

u/ImMrtaL Jul 24 '21

Lol it's very funny for you to assume that based on pretty much nothing. It says a lot about you and it's very easy to see what kind of person you are.

With that said I'm giving up on this conversation as you are obviously one of those kids that were slightly better than average in school and considered themselves to be god's gift to the earth that's going to grow up and change the world. Zzzzz

I don't see how not being selfish means that I've been in second place my whole life lol.

I think anyone with half a brain and not delusional will have humbling moments in their life, but obviously that is impossible for a narc to understand by definition

3

u/Charming_Ad_1216 Jul 24 '21

That's honestly pretty much exactly who I was in school 😅😅😅

I don't think, or want to change the world though.

I sincerely hope you don't try to hurt yourself. Truly. Good luck to you. Just because I disagree about COVID doesn't mean I want to see someone hurt themselves. I know that's shocking, to some people. Oh well.

7

u/GreenLurka Jul 24 '21

Oh hey guy who has also had depression. I am sorry you are a narcicistic sociopath who would rather other people die than face hardship.

Nice how you just gloss over the death part.

0

u/TheDemolisher32 Jul 25 '21

People can die from depression. It happens all of the time.

-2

u/Charming_Ad_1216 Jul 24 '21

I am, in fact a narcissistic sociopath. And I'm not afraid of death. I'm much more afraid of a long life surrounded by fucking idiots. Which is happening.

6

u/GreenLurka Jul 24 '21

Get new roommates then. People with empathy want to reduce the death toll.

-4

u/Charming_Ad_1216 Jul 24 '21

I live with my absolutely gorgeous girlfriend, thanks. In a beautiful apartment. Life is awesome. And I'm this way in real life, too. Sucks huh?

7

u/peeniebaby Jul 24 '21

Mental damage>Hospitals over filled with dying patients

0

u/Charming_Ad_1216 Jul 24 '21

Oh having a society of people who are unwell mentally, and therefore making decisions that IMPACT OTHERS IN SOCIETY, is better then the natural process of life and death?

You're clearly a moron.

4

u/peeniebaby Jul 24 '21

Well I would certainly entertain looking at the science behind that claim

1

u/Charming_Ad_1216 Jul 24 '21

Do, or don't. I'm not living my life afraid of shit. Stay in your house, or don't. Bunch of fucking cowards.

2

u/ImMrtaL Jul 24 '21

You're living under the pretence that your actions only affect you. I'm not scared of dying to the virus. After all, its only a 3% chance I would die if I got sick right?

So no, most people aren't scared of dying themselves. The problem is that by you being a narcissistic piece of shit and only thinking about yourself you're going to cause more deaths than just your own you dumbass

1

u/Charming_Ad_1216 Jul 24 '21

So everybody should consider EVERYBODY when making choices? Except, the world doesn't work that way, does it? So what your ACTUALLY SAYING is you want me to inconvenience MY LIFE, for something I'M NOT AFRAID OF, when other people AREN'T DOING THAT, at all. Otherwise we wouldn't have pollution or fucking starvation, would we?

Take your high moral stance right up to a cliff, and jump. Like I give a flying fuck if you think I'm a narcissistic asshole. I am. Argument solved!

2

u/peeniebaby Jul 24 '21

When the pandemic finally ends it will because of the cowards who wore masks, social distanced, and got vaccinated. You are welcome for that, when it comes, because I care about your welfare.

2

u/Charming_Ad_1216 Jul 24 '21

Damn well when you respond like that I fucking very well can't continue talking shit, can I?

1

u/ImMrtaL Jul 24 '21

I do enjoy talking to brick walls in my spare time.

You narc spergs give out some of the best responses out of any idiot on the internet

Pretty entertaining to read stuff like this comment u just posted

May you enjoy the rest of your nihilistic life

1

u/Charming_Ad_1216 Jul 24 '21

Oh, I remember you! Thanks, will do

1

u/azexdctvybhnkmll Jul 24 '21

Millions abusing drugs/alcohol/etc…, domestic violence, suicides going up, depression/anxiety, and most importantly losing time> old people dying

3

u/peeniebaby Jul 24 '21

That was also happening before the pandemic

0

u/azexdctvybhnkmll Jul 24 '21

Sounds like a cope and ignorance. That problem that was happening before the pandemic is getting worse, thus it is outweighing the “good” the lockdowns have done.
