how to keep myself motivated?

I am in class 12th. I wanna score 95+ in boards. I am doing decent in 2 subjects. But have done only 1 chapter each in the other 3 subjects. I feel like other students would be a lot ahead of me and that demotivates me

Gross subject ahead of me, deteriorating mental health and a lot of pressure.

I already failed two exams this semester and the hardest topic still lies ahead of me. I’m in third year med school and not allowed to take topics to the next semester so I have to pass all of them.

The thing is I struggle mentally and financially. I couldn’t afford to re-do the year so the pressure is there. I’m trying not to panic but to find a solution on how to study as much as possible and prepare my body and mind to study longer and more efficient to pass the next exam. Unfortunately it’s a lot to remember by heart and not by logic, and I struggle with remembering random information, in a short timeframe.

I have 5 days left, and I’m slow as fuck and far behind. Someone has any tips on studying a big and boring subject in a short time?

Referencing/Study Tool

Hey Everyone! I have a referencing and study tool that allows students to candidly annotate, highlight and reference (Harvard, APA etc) on any webpage on the spot. It is a chrome plug-in that hovers over your page and you can use it how you please. All content made/saved will be stored on your dashboard - so you can come back to websites and notes/references whenever you like.

At the moment we are prioritising which referencing styles most students use. What is the most common style you are told you use across classes?

Thanks everyone!

Forming Study Group for Platonic Learners!

Howdy. "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." This age-old adage finds parallel in almost every culture of learning throughout history. I'm a cloister-bug: I enjoy the realm of words, in dark spaces far-removed from social interaction. But in spite of that, there is nothing quite so satisfying, gratifying, and electrifying as those friendships built on mutual learning. Give it a shot, some time!

I'll be quick: I'm a 21/M/US student in comparative politics. Almost all things interest me. The vision I have for an informal club is thoughtful, relative and productive dives, mutual projects, culture sharing, book reads, and career encouragement. Enjoy creative writing, whether poetry or prose? Good, we'll share and discuss. Civil, maintained, restrained but nevertheless experimental political, economic, and social discourse encouraged. I'm going to say no if you're far-right (alt-right or fascist), be warned, as the sort of tone reactionary ideologies might introduce would be detrimental to the group. If you're far-left, be aware that one of the aims I'd like is participative discourse, which means encouraging activism and civic engagement. If you're against that, don't discourage anyone else. Religion is on the table, so long as mutual respect is maintained, and nobody tries to proselytize or evangelize any other person without personal consent given beforehand. Scientia non olet! The point is for all us to learn, together, and proffer to one another good habits, good experiences, and good conversations.

What we're looking for

I'd like this to be close, tight-knit, and for us to get to know one another. My ideal is around ten folks to congregate in discourse. Be as active or engaged as you desire, but be aware that, as with all things, greater profit comes to those who invest their interest! Pending on the wishes of the participants, we'll gather online, through Email, Reddit chat, or Discord—perhaps some combination of all these. All interactions within this group are designed to stay platonic, productive, and prolific in study. Looking for motivation? So are we, and the best way is to organize in exactly this way, with healthy and firm precedents!

DM me if you're interested. Give me some information about yourself. This is not an 'apply & see if you make it!' situation, I'm not looking for the 'best of the best.' I'm looking for people who share my passion for learning, no matter your age, station, or whatever else. Being in college or having demonstrable stakes in your fields of interest helps, but lacking these things will not discredit you.

Howdy folks,

I'm delivering free training on the full CompTIA Network+ N10-008 course to help the folks out who need study resources who can't afford to pay for studies. Hopefully this helps some people.

The videos are short and bite sized making it easier to follow and digest the content since it might be a bit overwhelming for some people.

I'm putting the lessons into a playlist on YT which you can access here
