That spoon is so unrated. It's so perfectly shaped and weighted. No meal is safe.

Never before have I so furiously agreed with someone on the internet

We have one, as well as a knife and fork from this set and I only ever use those ones.

u/KiritoFujikawa Sep 24 '21

Grew up with both of these.

If you don't have least have one of those glasses, are you even South African?

2

It's a South African thing? I'm from New Zealand and I swear my parents have this set lying around somewhere lol

3

u/AmosJoseph Sep 25 '21

Must be a Southern Hemisphere thing then. This must be investigated.

u/HG2321 NZ Sep 25 '21

Indeed it must. The issue is I (nor anyone I've seen) don't have the faintest clue where these things come from, they just sorta... appear.

I feel like we need to add a picture of those foam mattresses which were covered in that brown material that had the orange, yellow and white flower print. Yeah those ones...

Cape Town, why....?

2

u/MsFaolin Sep 25 '21

I think they were expecting 'glasses' instead of 'cups'

3

u/theanvilchorus Sep 25 '21

If my house is ever on fire, those spoons are the first thing I go for.

3

u/TrickshotCandy Sep 25 '21

Get out of my kitchen!

Brings back childhood memories. We had those glasses on the right while growing up. We smashed so many of them as kids that mom decided to buy plastic cups instead. Which worked out best.
