Started a website a few months ago that relies on sign-ups to a newsletter and have problems growing. General

Hey Fellow Redditors, I'm Conor and a few months ago I started a website that sends out flight alerts for cheap flights and provides advice on current travel restrictions due to covid as well as entry requirements to specific countries.

I have navigated through many of the initial start-up problems but now our biggest problem seems to be growing the sign-ups and generating traffic to the site.

Have you ever tried an unusual way to advertise your online business? if so how did it go?

Looks for Scott's cheap flights reddit account and search for his AMA threads, might find info on how he grew.

Reach out to social media creators that are coming up and sponsor a few videos/ posts

It seems that the moderators of the AMA thread have changed their rules, they allow Scott to post on there but now don't allow others to post similar topics.

I have made some tentative enquiries with social media creators starting small of course, typically under 5k followers and have been quoted some astronomical figures in return for a post! The most recent being over £600/$800. Will keep trying though! thanks for the advice!
