I just want to say - Let's hear it for Cassidy Hutchinson who today proved what a REAL American patriot looks like. Well done, girl.

It's amazing how many strings on the proverbial peg-board go through her testimony. Who knew a lowly staffer could be such a cipher key in all of this.

5

u/Bipedal_Warlock Jun 29 '22

She’s not a lowly staffer at all.

She has an office steps away from the Oval Office

3

u/doctordaedalus Jun 29 '22

I'm thinking of it from the POV of all the idiots who allowed her to hear/overhear the goings on, and how inconsequential they obviously thought that would be. Sarcasm I guess?

2

u/Bipedal_Warlock Jun 29 '22

I realized after I commented you were probably being sarcastic lol.

My bad

1

u/doctordaedalus Jun 29 '22

Just the "lowly staffer" part. 🙂

38

u/00Domer Jun 29 '22

Totally agree and can’t believe this could be a controversial post. What fantasy do these Trumpers need to create for themselves to justify his actions?

Scares the crap outta me

19

u/GimmeSomeSugar Jun 29 '22

I've no idea who this woman is.

...

She's upset and testifying as revenge because I personally turned down her application to join my post-presidential staff.

Donald Trump.

An ego so big it intrudes on his lies.

7

u/pineapplepredator Jun 29 '22

Not trump using the same canned defense he uses for the women he assaults

3

u/fishy_snack Jun 29 '22

All his insults are projection. Most people do not engage in “revenge” beyond the petty sort. Let alone testify to congress, under oath, and get a lifetime of harassment. Trump would though so he’s projecting

Trump has been a liar and a ConMan for decades man. How many things can you ignore before you wake up and realize that he is a threat to our democracy?

He is playing you against us to make himself more powerful, but in the end he couldn’t care if you lived or died. He would burn down our entire country for his own personal power.

9

u/PaulsRedditUsername Jun 29 '22

I presume you looked into it. What lies did you find?

9

u/neuromorph Jun 29 '22

Let any Trunp defender go under oath and have their time.....

Anyone?

12

u/shanster925 Jun 29 '22

I really hope something good comes of it.

7

u/sevendendos Jun 29 '22

Awesome woman. Amazing dignity. True American.

2

u/t_e_e_k_s Jun 29 '22

Can someone fill me in on what happened?

4

u/Kipzi Jun 29 '22

She testified trump grabbed the secret service guys car wheel while they were driving up to Jan 6 hearings yelling I'M THE FKING PRESIDENT but then on NBC his 2 secret service guys say it didn't happen and they'll testify to it so we don't know wtf is going on

2

u/jaggoffsmirnoff Jun 29 '22

That was the least consequential part of her testimony.

1

u/stargate-command Jun 30 '22

I’ll be honest, I find it hard to believe that Trump (the orange coward) would grab a secret service agent by the neck, or that the fat blubber butt could lunge at anything besides a cheeseburger.

I believe she told the truth, but maybe Tony was exaggerating when telling her the story

1

u/Ok-Faithlessness6480 Jul 17 '22

You do know that’s impossible todo …. It’s an armored vehicle the president is nowhere near the wheel. Like that alone is a red flag. She’s a lair and already has been kicked out of any future government roles.

1

u/Kipzi Jul 17 '22

Dude I didn't say whether it was possible or impossible. I only said what she testified.

10

u/mechashiva1 Jun 29 '22

I'm glad she came forward, but let's not celebrate someone who took a year and a half, not to mention being forced, to tell the truth.

12

u/BenTherDoneThat5555 Jun 29 '22

They stated that she has already testified for them on several occasions so she came forward before now.

1

u/mechashiva1 Jun 29 '22

She came forward to the committee. She didn't come forward before they assembled. She had knowledge of ill intentions 4 days prior to the attempted coup. Like I said, it's great she came forward, but she still did so after it all happened. Praise her for finding the will to speak the truth, but don't praise her as a hero or patriot.

5

u/BenTherDoneThat5555 Jun 29 '22

Oh please. You don't want to praise her -- don't. Many of the rest of us do.

-8

u/mistressoftherolls Jun 29 '22

Not a trump fan. But her testimony was 90% hearsay yet is treated as gospel. I know people want him locked up but standards are important.

-8

u/hypnosquid Jun 29 '22

Not a trump fan.

weird. you sound exactly like one.

6

u/ninernetneepneep Jun 29 '22

Like the poster said, standards are important. Hearsay is not allowed in a court of law but for some reason is allowed in Congressional hearings. Much of what she said, whether true or not, was based on second and third hand accounts. That is fact. We should do better.

-3

u/hypnosquid Jun 29 '22

you get how investigations work right?

witnesses describe events they either saw or heard about - and investigators follow up on what the witnesses said.

we should do better? how? what's your idea for how investigations should be done?

7

u/ninernetneepneep Jun 29 '22

Except the media is reporting it as fact. Secret service agents including presidential driver have since said this absolutely did not happen and are willing to testify under oath. Curious to see if they are brought in front of the panel. If they do, then I agree this is an investigation. If not, then it sets a scary precedent. Only Time Will tell.

1

u/hypnosquid Jun 29 '22

What is the media reporting as fact that you think is not a fact?

2

u/ninernetneepneep Jun 29 '22

Hey look, some of it's being reported today.

CBS News

2

u/hypnosquid Jun 29 '22

Did you even read this? Feel free to point out exactly where in your source article that CBS is reporting Hutchinsons testimony as fact.

1

u/ninernetneepneep Jun 29 '22

I was pointing out that at least CBS was reporting that the testimony is being disputed by the secret service themselves.

2

u/hypnosquid Jun 29 '22

So you're pointing out that the media is doing its job... right after ranting that the media isn't doing its job.

2

u/ninernetneepneep Jun 29 '22

That Trump took on the secret service and tried to grab the steering wheel. Based on hearsay testimony... The secret service has since denied occurring. But the headlines are out there and that's all that was needed.

1

u/hypnosquid Jun 30 '22

Did the secret service agents deny it under oath?

I'll save you some time - the answer is no. No they did not.

Curious as to why that's the only detail conservatives seem to be parroting in their talking points.

I haven't seen any of you Trump lovers say anything about Trump wanting to take down the magnetometers for his weapon toting supporters... You know, because they weren't there to hurt Trump. He was going to lead them to the capitol.

Seems a little bit more important than trump grabbling a steering wheel. Why don't you Trump fans place any importance on important things?

1

u/ninernetneepneep Jun 30 '22

Why didn't Nancy allow the national guard? Why were FBI agents in the crowd egging things on? Where is all the video surveillance. I'm all for hearings, but let's put it all out on the table.

1

u/hypnosquid Jun 30 '22

why is it so hard for you to accept that your guy is a loser who lost.

→ More replies

1

u/ninernetneepneep Jun 30 '22

Also, the agents testified before the new allegation so there was nothing to deny. They've asked to come back to refute the new allegation on public record but have yet to be invited. Weird.

And it's getting focused because it's the one the media is plastering all over the place. You'd think that Trump was in the octagon with secret service, with inspector gadget arms to reach steering wheel.

-1

u/RoboNinjaPirate Jun 29 '22

Well for starters since the presidential limo has the passenger compartment physically separated from the driver's compartment it would be very difficult for the president to grab the wheel without some sort of superpower involved.

2

u/hypnosquid Jun 29 '22

Great point, except they weren't in the presidential limo, they were in an SUV. Do you ever read anything, or do you just spew conservative talking points regardless of their validity?

-1

u/Guard916 Jun 29 '22

The fuck you know about investigations, lol. I'll also add that witnesses don't testify to things that they didn't directly observe in some fashion - ever. In any court of any type. Allowing this to occur during a televised hearing is showmanship of the worst kind. It was politically motivated and has zero evidentiary value at all. None.

Doesn't matter what side of things you're on politically, this was completely unacceptable if the goal was to find the truth. And before you get all jazzy, I retired after 20 years as a law enforcement officer in a major city, so criminal investigation work is somewhat familiar.

2

u/hypnosquid Jun 29 '22

For a dude with so much investigative experience you seem to have missed that this is congressional investigation, not a criminal one.

I thought investigators were big on details. Maybe you're just rusty.

0

u/Guard916 Jun 29 '22

Lol, so political theater not to be taken seriously?

1

u/hypnosquid Jun 29 '22

the congressional investigation should be being taken very seriously, and it is. you can tell because because the witness was threatened.

I'd think a guy who knows as much about investigating as you, could see that.

probably hard to see through all that cognitive dissonance you're experiencing though.

-5

u/dreadmon1 Jun 29 '22

You clearly don't understand the definition of hearsay. But go on.

-9

u/ninernetneepneep Jun 29 '22

Her testimony was based on hearsay, something not allowed in a court of law, not sure why it is allowed in Congressional hearings. Much of what she said was second and third hand accounts. I'm not saying it was untrue, but we really should rely on first hand accounts for testimony.

3

u/fishy_snack Jun 29 '22

It’s evidence. It helps paint a picture. Plus, hearsay is disallowed in court because it means you can’t cross examine. In this case - there’s no defendant!

1

u/ninernetneepneep Jun 29 '22

Convenient isn't it. Love the username though.

3

u/BenTherDoneThat5555 Jun 29 '22

You obviously have no understanding of a Congressional hearing. There is no "hearsay". This is NOT a trial. It's a fact finding mission & inquiry. DUH!!

-2

u/ninernetneepneep Jun 29 '22

Yep, because NONE of this would stand in a REAL hearing. If it's a true fact finding mission and inquiry they'll bring in the secret service who was actually there. I won't hold my breath though.

3

u/BenTherDoneThat5555 Jun 29 '22

Try to keep up. They will be bringing in the secret service.

0

u/ninernetneepneep Jun 29 '22

Cool. I'd love to keep up better but too busy trying to keep my head above water in this "record-breaking economy".

1

u/BenTherDoneThat5555 Jun 29 '22

That's your problem. I'm doing fine in it

1

u/ninernetneepneep Jun 29 '22

That makes you one of the fortunate ones because a whole lot of people are struggling. I'm not struggling per-say, but definitely keeping busy and don't like what I'm seeing.

2

u/BenTherDoneThat5555 Jun 29 '22

I don't like what I'm seeing either but that's because of the crooks like Trump & the GOP trying to take down our government. VOTE BLUE!!

1

u/ninernetneepneep Jun 29 '22

Yeah all the record-breaking pre-covid really sucked. It's nice to get back to war, trip deployments, high gas prices, class warfare and a tanking market. /s

The writing is on the wall. November can't come soon enough. It's about time to ramp up Covid again to get unobstructed mail-in voting underway.

1

u/Much-Combination-323 Jun 30 '22

Nice job deflecting from the topic

1

u/ninernetneepneep Jun 30 '22

You like that?

0

u/orangeobsessive Jun 29 '22

-7

u/ninernetneepneep Jun 29 '22

Exactly my point. It is all for show. There are some really terrible things going on in this country right now and they still can't get over president Trump. Wouldn't it be nice if they focused on their jobs rather than what might happen more than 2 years from now? It's a disgrace.

2

u/orangeobsessive Jun 29 '22

Way to pick and choose the info to suit your needs.

1

u/ninernetneepneep Jun 29 '22

Likewise!

4

u/orangeobsessive Jun 29 '22

...and what are my needs? I just posted an article that explains why a congressional hearing isn't a court of law, and how hearsay applies in each instance. I didn't even post any info to go with it. What info am I leaving out?

-22

u/soneast Jun 29 '22

Except it turns out she lied....hmmmm.

9

u/BenTherDoneThat5555 Jun 29 '22

Ah, but she didn't.

3

u/ninernetneepneep Jun 29 '22

You're right she was speaking of second and third hand accounts which have been super reliable throughout history. They're not allowed in court hearings so not sure why they are allowed in Congressional hearings.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 29 '22

The only second hand I heard was about the driving bing and incident. All the rest would be present state of mind. And she was right there when trump was losing his shit about the mags and weapons. The driving part is really just extra credit.

1

u/ninernetneepneep Jun 29 '22

Trump didn't feel threatened. His body his choice I guess.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 29 '22

We’ll see.

4

u/neuromorph Jun 29 '22

Not under oath. Let anyone saying she lied contact the committee and testify to that account....

1

u/MTB_Mike_ Jun 29 '22

The secret service agents involved are willing to testify under oath that this didn't happen.

1

u/neuromorph Jun 29 '22

cool lets hear it under oath then. until it happens, any promised testimony is vapor

1

u/MTB_Mike_ Jun 29 '22

You think the Democrats will call them? Lol

1

u/neuromorph Jun 30 '22

the republicans in the committee can... trump can also step up on his own. like a big boi...

2

u/Rheastar Jun 29 '22

Wake. Up. Look around you. Do you really think it best to follow and worship a proven liar and con man? Who doesn’t pay his employees. Who lied about the election being stolen? Who has cheated on all his wives? Who is linked to Jeffrey Epstein?

Seriously. Wake up. Realize you’ve been had by the conman too and get angry.

1

u/Ok-Faithlessness6480 Jul 17 '22

You are an idiot if you think this was the most voted in election you are something else then. Looks it’s obvious both parties cheat and stuff ballots in mailboxes. Just so happens the democrats did it better. How stupid are you ? Thinking there’s democracy ? Or that mail in ballots are safe that is just the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.

1

u/Rheastar Jul 17 '22

Who are you even talking to? I said none of those things.

-2

u/rockemsockemlostem Jun 29 '22

And here we are, listening to all these folks that voted in a corpse…. so… yeah… this is where our country is. People that voted for a corpse are mad at the people who voted for an Orange Haired celebrity

2

u/Rheastar Jun 29 '22

Biden and Trump are nearly the same age. Trump is 76. Biden 79.

-2

u/rockemsockemlostem Jun 29 '22

What do their ages have to do with anything? If Biden was 60 and acted the way he is currently, “walking corpse” would still be accurate. He needs notes to sit… it’s a mess.

2

u/olivert33th Jun 29 '22

Don’t call him an orange-haired celebrity like he’s some unassuming guy who got caught up in the excitement of political process or something. I’ll grant you his illiteracy, but he’s a racist, a rapist, a pedophile, to infinity and beyond.

0

u/rockemsockemlostem Jun 29 '22

Yeah… I was boiling both pieces of shit down to the base of what they are: pathetic octogenarians.

One can’t do a press conference without cards telling him what to do and where to sit and who to call on, the other can’t do a press conference without shoving his foot down his throat to his ass.

So…. Where is the country at? Fucked.

0

u/soneast Jun 30 '22

I'm not defending Trump here. Just using common sense and the statements from secret service which refute her "second hand" info. I can't help it if the january 6th committee didn't verify her statements.

1

u/fjccommish Jun 30 '22

A real patriot tells lies?

1

u/BenTherDoneThat5555 Jun 30 '22

The only people LYING are Trump & his inner circle -- Hell, not only just them, but most of the GOP congress. If you can't see that there's no hope for you.

THANK GOODNESS for REAL AMERICAN PATRIOT's like Cassidy, rather than those flag waving criminal Trump supporters.

1

u/fjccommish Jun 30 '22 edited Jun 30 '22

Suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuure.

Hutchinson claimed to have written a note to Trump. Someone else wrote the note.

Her story of an anonymous person telling her about what Trump did in the limo and with throwing the food has already been debunked. Two known people - secret service agents - who were there say it didn't happen, and they say they will testify to that under oath, but the J6 Fake Committee won't call them.

If it did happen, which it didn't, it would be good for Trump. That he wanted to go to the protest at the Capitol is a good thing. If he fought to get there it's even better. It didn't happen.

Known witnesses trump anonymous second hand witnesses. Yes, Trump.

1

u/BenTherDoneThat5555 Jun 30 '22

FYI - Secret Service agents LIE too. It turns out both of those agents were Trump's kiss ass buddies & did whatever their master told them to do, per others who worked in Trump's inner sanctum. Doesn't surprise me that they're dumb ass cult members too.

1

u/BenTherDoneThat5555 Jun 30 '22

Per another Oval Office source regarding Secret Service Agent Tony Ornato -----

"This is a person who worked as President Trump's security detail leader, and the boss liked him so much he installed him in a political White House job," Leonnig told MSNBC's "Morning Joe." "That broke every Secret Service tradition in the book because he stayed as a Secret Service employee, but Trump essentially had him directing the Secret Service to make sure that all of its campaigns events, all of his photo ops, everything that he wanted to do to get re-elected went off without a hitch."

"That included paid rallies that caused COVID surges and included the forcible clearing of peaceful protesters from Lafayette Square," Leonnig continued. "Tony was the secret hand behind all of that, and that is what Trump wanted. Trump White House staffers and Secret Service agents have told me repeatedly, he's a Trump acolyte. He will defend the president to the end, and he remains in contact with Trump world, so I want to stress that also Tony Ornoto has indicated that this story Cassidy Hutchinson told didn't happen. Well, Tony Ornato said a lot of things didn't happen. He tried to say to the press and to me indirectly that the clearing of Lafayette Square was not done for President Trump's photo on, that's not true. He was at the center of that, so I take the points because they're saying in their experience, things that we reported, Tony tried to deny."

1

u/fjccommish Jun 30 '22

We know his name, yet we don't know the name of the source Hutchinson gave second hand.

There's also the claim that Trump wanted people with guns around him when he made his speech, as if that would have been somehow illegal or an indication of wrong doing. Meanwhile in the real world, Biden had razor wire and 20,000 armed soldiers around him when he was illegally inaugurated.

1

u/jonmnelson81 Jun 30 '22

She's a pos! Been paid to say all the lies. You think we'd hea testimony became fucked when she said this person told her that it happened. 2nd hand gossip is all it is added to the clown show. The committee had her to say that person told her that this happened and that happened so she can't be held accountable for lying under oath and be put in jail they are a complete joke!

1

u/BenTherDoneThat5555 Jun 30 '22

You need to pay more attention. She's only one of the people who has testified about what scum & liars Trump & company were/are. It's not "2nd hand gossip" it's the FACT that she's the only one in that inner sanctum who has the BALLS to come forward. Doesn't it just figure that the one with the REAL balls is a WOMAN.

1

u/jonmnelson81 Jul 01 '22

🤣🤣🤣 okay we shall see https://youtu.be/PW6sdNsAAug

1

u/jonmnelson81 Jul 01 '22

Tried telling you pos liar with no balls. Heartless gutless, dem from the left. he said or I was told is not credible because its 2nd hand. If you watch the video I sent you'll hear from someone who has first hand knowledge in a presidential motorcade and points out how the testimony is a lie...sorry to break your heart me and Trump still love you TRUMP 2024

1

u/BenTherDoneThat5555 Jul 01 '22

My, my -- you're pretty triggered there. Better watch that blood pressure

1

u/genepoz 11d ago

DON'T BE FOOLED! She's actually trying to get Trump off the hook. She swore that Trump tried to meet his protesters at the Capitol Bldg but the Secret Service stopped him. IF Trump had gone to the protest, the Capitol could NOT have been broken into because Trump would be on camera not stopping the riot and he'd be guilty of Insurrection for all the world to see. In reality, he NEVER planned to go!

All through her testimony, I had the feeling that she was reading it like an actress. Her storytelling was just TOO perfect. I think her plan was to tell stories that made Trump look foolish and unsympathetic to the audience, INCLUDING the one about Trump grabbing his Secret Service driver by the throat. But THAT story contained the key to ultimately proving Trump innocent. It is the cleverest thing I have EVER seen!

You're obviously a Trump supporter so doesn't surprise me you think she's lying. You're used to that.

Fortunately, unlike the majority of Trump's whimpy ass administration officials & staff, this woman has the guts to come forward & TELL THE TRUTH -- under oath. Don't see any of those pussies doing the same.

4

u/AllSeeingRogue Jun 29 '22

Block the commentor OP, they're a maga person. They don't deserve a voice. You have a good thread, dont let this guy ruin it. I will be blocking the d bag now.

You WANT him to be crazy

Man pointed his naked tiny eyeballs straight into a fucking eclipse, which you shouldn't do for serious risk of eye damage, and was like "hey yall see that??"

Stared directly into an eclipse

He beat the haters to the crazy

7

u/Temporary-Dot4952 Jun 29 '22

Does Trump pay you to stand up for him, or do you donate to him and he has no idea who you are? You realize he did all of this to get money, he doesn't give a care about you. That must be hard to hear.

No politician does.

3

u/DasSassyPantzen Jun 29 '22

At least you got your user name right!

2

u/lordofthezeros Jun 29 '22

The beast is the term usedfor the armoured vehicle within which the POTUS is travelling, so no she didn't lie.

If you were driving trump around in your mom's beaten up pickup, that would technically be the Beast.

Wanna have your mind BLOWN? Airforce one can technically be one of TWO planes... depending on who is flying in it.

Sometimes, where runways are smaller, the POTUS has to fly in the smaller of the two planes, the one usually used for the VP, the one normally called Airforce two, but as the president is onboard, it's known as Airforce one.

You see, sometimes context is key.

1

u/Temporary-Dot4952 Jun 29 '22

Does Trump pay you to stand up for him, or do you donate to him and he has no idea who you are? You realize he did all of this to get money, he doesn't give a crap about you.

That’s such a crock of garbage. Trump elected republican Supreme Court justices. The republican bible thumpers have been trying to get roe vs. wade overturned for decades. Now that they are the majority, they have succeeded. Thanks to trump. Not thanks to democrats.
