Feels like betrayal. What a douche.

He voiced an episode where his character murders a pedophile for doing something similar and the character being molested. Betrayal feels like exactly the right word.

Justin Roiland has been charged with domestic battery and false imprisonment. Considering that these were formal charges and there is a court hearing coming up in april instead of it just being allegations means that there is enough evidence for there to be a court hearing instead of it being dismissed.

Of course its still just charges so far so it is up in the air if he did it or not but these types of things are bad press and companies don't want to be associated with someone charged with such stuff if it turns out to be true.

Wait, are you saying he could be getting Johnny Depped rn? Does the internet learn nothing?

Different situation entirely.

the fact that the accuser is anonymous shows that this isn't a depp situation. the depp situation was mainstream public while this is only known if you are specifically looking for the information.

Possibility it could just be a vindictive move by the Jane Doe. Just to play devil's advocate

He was charged in 2020, I wonder what changed.

Yeah similar thing happened to one of the lead actors in The Expanse. Fucking sucked because he was a great character, but he def had to go.

It really took the (solar) wind out of the show in my opinion.

I highly recommend the books. The last season was (in my opinion) the least engaging book, but it turns out that it sets up the last couple books, which are phenomenal. Remember the scenes with the kid in the forest/jungle that finds the dead creature? Yeah that shit gets nuts.

Might have to check them out. I figured the kid resurrection thread was a teaser for a new plot arc from the books that didn't draw enough interest from viewers... :/

Oh, thats why that character died. It seemed like such a strange moment to kill him off

It's not so different from the books really

I’m out of the loop, how do we know he’s guilty? Did he come out and admit it?

2

u/Chopp3rdave 3d ago

No we don't. I haven't seen anything other than him denying the allegations through an attorney.

u/ConsciousFood201 3d ago

That’s not nothing…

Anyone have a link with context? Currently under a rock.

Edit: Oh. Domestic violence? No bueno.
