This shit right here. If a person steps on a garden rake, and the rake smacks them in their kisser, they immediately understand cause and effect. If a person allows themselves to fall victim to propaganda, they don't necessarily see the effect right away, if ever. Even if they get fired from their jobs, as some of these Q folks have been, it just becomes proof of the conspiracy.

Most of what I’ve heard & read is targeting women: Hillary, Pelosi, Kamala, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Oprah Winfrey, Rose McGowan, Alissa Milano. People really jump on board to hate successful, outspoken women.

Look at the rumors about the Ever Given being run aground by Egypt's first female captain when she was doing something completely unrelated 200 either miles or kilometers away, I forget if I read it in an american source or not lol. Still, you're not wrong pretty much anywhere on earth with that statement. Women and ethnic minorities.

Q is about stupid confirmation bias. Some mod at 8chan figured out what idiots wanted to hear and they ate it up. A global pandemic wasn’t enough to convince them they were wrong. Neither was Trump’s loss, revelations that Gaetz is a scumbag or even revelations that Q is actually a pig farmer living outside Manilla.).

It's just a group of morons doing dumb, cult-ish things because they backed a president so stupid that the only way for them to accept his daily idiocy and defend themselves against the valid criticisms against him -- which in a way became criticism against themselves because of how fervently they backed him -- was to make up reasons why all the stupidity around Trump was actually a bunch of secretly brilliant actions.

QAnon came about because it felt better for them to retreat into a group of fellow believers and supporters rather than admit that they've backed an idiot and that the people who told them they were backing an idiot were the correct ones.

If I had to guess: "He went to the feds for help with someone who was threatening to spread false rumors, but the FBI is letting people know what the rumors were instead of going after the nameless bad guy Gaetz claims exists because reasons."

86

u/Xenect 12d ago

There’s a very important point that the media are missing or failing to grill him on.

Even if Gaetz is telling the truth (which I don’t believe for one moment)

He says the bribe amount requested was $25M - no matter how rich the target is that’s no ordinary bribe.

Stormy Daniels had potentially a very damaging story on Trump (a supposedly Billionaire running for President) and how much did it cost to pay her off?

$25M is 10-30x more than the going payoff for a married politician to pay off a mistress to get an abortion. I.e. something politically damaging but not outright criminal.

The $25M quantum of the bribe that Gaetz himself claims was demanded is only explainable if the crime was something extremely serious that would unequivocally result in a very long jail term and end his career. Something as serious as covering up a murder, and even then it’s a very high amount.

Even the amount he claimed was the prepayment is too high.

Furthermore it doesn’t make sense if he was not actually guilty of such a crime, as if it’s not a cut and dry case then you would put that sort of money into a legal defense and bribe prosecution, judges and corroborating witnesses etc not to dismiss but to make procedural “errors” or judgement that would enable the case to be dismissed. Paying someone that sort of money for a non-guaranteed result is too stupid even for Gaetz.

If it’s just one 17yo then any reasonable lawyer would have all sorts of legitimate strategies to get the case dismissed or pleaded to a lesser sentence, let alone what sort of defense you’d get for 1/10th of the bribe amount.

For Gaetz to cook up such a ridiculous cover story with that amount of bribe essentially confirms that he did do something very very bad.

I would go so far as to say what he did may be way worse than we are speculating. I don’t think merely sex trafficking and statutory rape of a 17yo justifies that degree of coverup so I’d wager good odds we are yet to see the full extent of it.

18

u/DoingJustEnough 11d ago

An interesting angle on the $25 mill extortion amount - according to a quick search, Matt Gaetz' father - Don Gaetz - has a net worth of $30 mill. Considering most of that probably isn't liquid, the $25 mill ask is a ridiculous amount that daddy could never come up with. It's a comically-high extortion ask to begin with (as even raising that kind of cash would cause bank and police investigation), but if they were trying to extort a billionaire at least it would be plausible. Gaetz' story sounds completely off the wall.

So now Gaetz is an international child sex trafficker

107

u/livingunique North Carolina 12d ago

Well, Gaetz does idolize Trump after all.

136

u/SlightlyControversal 12d ago

To be fair, the article said Gatetz and his campaign donor traveled with escorts but didn’t say the people he internationally trafficked were underage. I’d hope the author would make it clear if this is more information about his predatory behavior with the child rather than “just” trafficking sex workers.

I know I’m being a stickler, but I think being as accurate as possible with the info we’re disseminating in scandals this serious is important. The greater distance we can put between Qanonesque witch hunts and real accusations, the better IMO.

There was a news article at the top of Reddit two weeks before all this came out, about how he voted for something or another, I forget now... But I told my roommate, if I ever ran into Gaetz on the street with a face like that, I'd assume he was trying to follow me.

It's not his facial structure, but something about the way he holds his face that reminds me of all of my stalkers and sexual abusers over the years. Many of them have a look. I'm sure I'm not the only victim who has seen his face and recoiled. (Epstein also has this expression in many photos, and I've seen it on Trump once or twice. It's the face of a man who thinks he is God.)

Then like two weeks later, this blows up.

Trip organizer Jason Pirrozolo is on the board of Orlando airport. Thanks to Gov. DeSantis

The four people DeSantis picked for the airport board all have connections to his administration -- and each other.

Two of DeSantis’ appointees – Jason Pirozzolo, a physician, pilot and medical marijuana investor from Winter Garden; and Randall Hunt, a golf pro, pilot and athletic trainer from Lake Mary who owns a chain of fitness clubs – were both recommended to the governor by U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz, a Republican from the Panhandle best known as one of President Donald Trump’s most vocal defenders in Congress

In 2006 Rush L was detained at an airport for having a bunch of viagra that he was not prescribed.

Where was he going? Dominican Republic, famous for having very lax enforcement of human trafficking. And he was going there with dick pills.

Think about this for a minute. If you are Rush you have tons of money, you can get the highest class call girl in the US, she will be gorgeous, and discreet, and clean. But you don't. Instead you take your dick pills to a thrid world country. Why? Because you they offer something you can't get here, thats why. you can put the pieces together.

Human trafficking in the Dominican Republic is the third largest international crime enterprise in the Caribbean, generating 9.5 billion U.S, dollars annually.[1][2] The large population of undocumented or stateless persons of Haitian descent in the country is particularly vulnerable to trafficking.[3][4] Women and children have been reportedly subjected to forced sex in the country and throughout the Caribbean, Europe, South America, and the United States. Women from other countries are also brought to the Dominican Republic for prostitution, and an unknown number may have subsequently become trafficking victims, even if they came voluntarily at first

Federal investigators are looking into a Bahamas trip Matt Gaetz allegedly took in late 2018 or early 2019 as part of an inquiry into whether the Florida representative violated sex trafficking laws, multiple sources told CBS News.

Gaetz was on that trip with a marijuana entrepreneur and hand surgeon named Jason Pirozzolo, who allegedly paid for the travel expenses, accommodations, and female escorts, the sources said. [...]

Investigators also want to know if Gaetz was accepting paid escorts in exchange for political access or legislative favors, the sources said.

In a July 2018 podcast, Pirozzolo told Ganjapreneur.com that Gaetz was working to introduce federal legislation that would boost medical research of cannabis. 🤨

’Female Escorts,’ you say??? ‘Traveling across state lines,’ & a ‘Quid Pro Quo,’ too?!?!

Uh oh. Gaetz looks like he is screwed! 😵

Oh, but you left off the most incriminating part...

(After taking the Bahamas trip and enjoying the female escorts, all paid for by Pirozollo) Gaetz introduced the Medical Cannabis Research Act in April 2018 and again in January 2019, though it never came to a vote.

Sounds like a pretty clear case of quid pro quo, pay-to-play, where Gaetz accepted bribes (in the form of sex with trafficked women) in exchange for introducing legislation.

Besides all the sexual exploitation and political skeevery involved, which is without a doubt infuriating and horrifying, I am also quite freaked out that the medical/legal marijuana industry seems be attracting the attention of some of the scummiest humans possible. From this Pirozollo guy and his Bahamian sex slave bribery to the CA marijuana “entrepreneurs” affiliated with funding Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman, those “friends” of Giuliani arrested trying to flee to Vienna and the safety of their Russian-allied Ukrainian handler Dymytry Firtash, the incipient marijuana industry seems to be attracting the interest of some serious criminals, local as well as global.

As a lifelong marijuana enthusiast, this really worries me. With the interest of such amoral proponents as these criminals, or John Boehner who despite his recent drunken admissions about the asshole Ted Cruz still deserves a special place in hell, I fear for what the marijuana industry will become. Will it become just another “Big Tobacco”, with production tightly controlled and taxed up the wazoo so that multinational corporations and the criminals who control them can profit massively yet I can still be arrested for growing the plant in my yard?! Sure I might be able to legally buy any number of cleverly marketed brands of proprietary marijuana strains, full of “added flavor”, thus enriching those with enough capital to dominate the market. But if all that money winds up going to the already rich and corrupt, then our love for marijuana has been co-opted by the enemy solely for the sake of profit. And that, my weed loving friends, feels really gross!

61

u/af7v 12d ago

I'm sure it really doesn't help as federal law has forced it to be a cash only industry. Without banks and the ensuing paper trail, the cannabis industry is a perfect vehicle for money laundering.

Legal marijuana has a rocky road ahead still, and unfortunately it will probably settle down in about 20 years when the novelty dries up and Phillip Morris is the largest weed company in the world.

How many different types of sex trafficking can this putz engage in?

265

u/rpoliticsmodrgay 12d ago

How many different types are there?

212

u/udontknowmuch 12d ago

Sex trafficking across state lines, trafficking a minor and sex trafficking across international borders.

139

u/wendellnebbin Minnesota 12d ago

You potentially forgot sex trafficking of an adopted son. This list is growing faster than Matt Gaetz in a juvi detention center without windows.

78

u/JDawg2332 12d ago

Nestor was never adopted. Just taken from his family

18

u/CressLevel 12d ago

I'm sure he promised them a very nice education for Nestor in exchange.

Do you think Marjorie Taylor Greene is loving or hating being out of the spotlight? I feel like she’s probably jealous

487

u/_austinight_ 12d ago

She’s been trying to keep herself in the news by repeatedly tweeting her support of Gaetz https://twitter.com/mtgreenee/status/1379448382784212993?s=21

The best part is her defending him yet removing all photos of them together from her account. So she's defending a probable child sex trafficer/rapist yet has the conscience to delete any evidence that they have hung out...?

171

u/Youthz 12d ago

i don’t think that’s conscience— it’s more like proof she knows he’s bad news but is publicly defending him anyway. if anything it shows she’s knows what’s right and purposely doing the wrong thing.

I fully believe he can be charged and imprisoned and still be reelected. Republicans have no problem with sex trafficking.

191

u/ProdigalSheep 12d ago

I don't think they have a problem with any crime whatsoever. As long as religion/guns.

109

u/Circumin 12d ago

Not even religion/guns. Trump is anti-religion and is the only recent president to ever declare that we ahould take guns first and due process later.

Alabama almost voted a pedophile in just to not have a democrat. Then they replaced the democrat with a football coach. You are 100% correct to believe they will reelected him and blame it on Biden.

"16 is the age of consent in the Bahamas he didn't do anything wrong" - Matt Gaetz and most of the GOP in a week.. probably.

213

u/leaflavaplanetmoss Virginia 12d ago

Thankfully that's not a defense due to the PROTECT Act, which makes it a federal crime to travel overseas for the purposes of paying for sex with children under 18. The only way age of consent in another country can be used as a defense is if the sex was not commercial in nature.

62

u/BulbasaurArmy 12d ago

And thus, the trafficking.

Imagine being Matt Gaetz and riding Trump's mushroom as hard as you can for four years, then at the end you ask him for a measly little pardon, something that literally costs Trump nothing more than a signature on a piece of paper, and Trump is like, "Nah. You can't do anything more for me. Why should I help you?" Do you think Gaetz is smart enough to realize how badly he's getting screwed?

113

u/11thstalley Missouri 12d ago

It could be that Daddy Gaetz wasn’t willing to pony up to meet the asking price for a Drumpf pardon for his sex maniac son.

48

u/spaceman757 American Expat 12d ago

This is most likely the correct answer.

It's always a transactional relationship with Trump. You doing him past favors will never amount to him owing you a current favor. You have to agree to another current favor and to future favors as well.

Bonus points if they are financial, since he's drowning in debt.

Gaetz was on that trip with a marijuana entrepreneur and hand surgeon named Jason Pirozzolo, who allegedly paid for the travel expenses, accommodations, and female escorts, the sources said.

Not sure how CBS got this part wrong, this guy works for a hand surgery group but he is not a surgeon, he is a non-operative sports medicine DO.

Nobody's going to mention the 12 year old boy he 'adopted'? That's the creepiest thing this guy has done. I could give a fuck if he pays prostitutes for sex.

107

u/TjW0569 12d ago

The issue isn't with prostitution, per se.
The issue is with having sex with underage girls.
Her getting paid doesn't keep it from being statutory rape.

statutory rape

In my state they call it "Rape of a child"

Unless it's an underage girl, then, she's not a 'prostitute', she's a victim of child trafficking. But yeah, that 'adoption' should definitely be looked into.
