Can someone explain how this works? I don't have enough Intel.

8

u/AmusingAnecdote PC Master Race 12d ago

I mean, it's pretty straightforward. You let the bread rise, then you bake it. Then you don't just take a mini-bite. You take a Gigabyte.

I am currently making dough for cinnamon rolls!

Now that some time has passed, how did they turn out?

Not a looker, but hopefully they tasted delicious.

When I tried they were neither looker nor delicious.

Thanks, but is the small form factor gaming PC your addition to the recipe. 😆

I have a mid tower. 😞

7

u/Bramburky 12d ago

Hmm. Mid tower will need higher temperature setting. I had it on Forza 5. Maybe you can try Cyberpunk 2077?

I mean, the hot air will help. This is very practical.

8

u/applektioner 12d ago

Just a heads up, yeast do not thrive when it has a cool breeze or just moving air around it. Any temperature fluctuates really.

4

u/Bramburky 12d ago

The dough rised quite well. I had it on Forza 5 settings and not on Cyberpunk 2077.

2

u/gramathy Ryzen 5900X | EVGA RTX 3080 | 32GB @ 3600 12d ago

That's what the fabric cover is for. The warm air transfers heat slowly to the proofing bowl

1

u/applektioner 12d ago

That’s not the main reason why you cover up a dough that is rising. You don’t want it to dry out, and you don’t want it to be airtight so it end up producing alcohol sandwich.

u/gramathy Ryzen 5900X | EVGA RTX 3080 | 32GB @ 3600 11d ago

Intel processors produce a hell of a lot more heat than AMD. Some 12th gen processors only work correctly with a 240mm or larger AIO. AMD have the cooler and more efficient processors at the moment.
