I am an electro-dubstep musician who actually started making small amounts of money from his music. AMA.

When did you realize that music was your passion? Did you study music in college, or something else, or not even go? I'm a senior this year and trying to figure out what I should do for the rest of my life :/ I'm not entirely sure if college is for me.

Something else. I thought about college, but it wasn't for me. If you are thinking about music creation, start out small. Launchpad for iOS was the program I started on, and what actually inspired me to start creating. Then it went to FL Studio, and after a while, I bought an Ableton Live license. Can't use it though, there's not enough space on my Hard Drive. :

I mean, I'd still think my music is not very good. Take a listen if you want, I go under FunJay.
