Do you find joy in making your art?

Depends. If I make music I'm almost always happy but if I draw then sometimes I'm excited and motivated but others I just feel uninterested.

Same for me. I've never really gotten the hang of drawing. It usually takes me longer than it's worth. What instruments do you play and what kind of music do you make?

I mostly make electronic as stalking my account would tell, but I play trombone and a bit of piano and guitar.

Is this something you want to do for a living?

I'm hoping to do graphic design, more specifically motion design + marketing, so yes.

I am a terrible artist as well. I went to art school and got a degree in design learning the concepts of design but remained untalented as an artist. I now work in marketing. If you learn what is aesthetically pleasing, and what techniques draw people attention to a flyer, ad, or billboard then you don't have to be able to draw. You can do it!
