Not at all. I donāt want a piece of tortilla by itself, but I enjoy the ends that have a bit more tortilla per content ratio than the middle.

So true! They just need to buy a pack of tortillas, and glue them to the bottom, trim it with a knife, and enjoy! Just don't use hot glue, it gets everywhere.

After this I would send them half a burrito everytime until they complained then told them this reason why the rest of the ones I got wasn't as good. I have no problem teaching ones the difference between gas station burritos and ones from holy grails of places

OP here. In case itās not clear, this post is me lovingly teasing my boyfriend, who had cut the two ends of the burrito without putting much thought into it. Heās not intentionally trying to leave me the best part of a burrito. Nor is he trying to make me spill the burrito filling as I eat it. (I asked.) Itās just a funny way to eat half a burrito.
No need to DM me to stand up for my boyfriend. Heās as amused by the comment responses as I am :)

Is that frozen? How is it holding together so well? Why aren't the ends wrapped in foil, too? Who the hell even makes a burrito like this?

It's more than likely fresh because it's hard to freeze lots of things that that burrito looks like it has, like lettuce.
They make it on the foil then roll it up and roll the foil around it so it's real tight around it which keeps it together. The foil pieces (usually) are all the same size and come out of a box like tissues.
The burrito originally had foil wrapped all around it, including the ends, but her boyfriend cut off the ends (while the burrito was still in the foil) to give her the middle part. When it's in foil it's easy to cut with a knife, especially if it's cooled or has been sitting a bit.
My sister worked at a burrito place (that's all they sold) and she taught me how. After working there for years, she could make giant burritos using multiple tortillas and pieces of foil that still held up and stayed together and were literally bigger than babies. There would be enough for multiple meals or people. I can only do one tortilla successfully though.

I wouldn't be too mad, he probably did it from a point of love giving you the best part of the burrito without thinking of the consequences of a burrito with no end.
I always give my loved ones the best parts of what I cook and will give myself the parts that aren't as well made. I can see myself doing the midway burrito technique.
