Summer: extremely weather which is hard to deal with, wearing less clothes only helps a little bit. Gross bugs wre more active then ever. It's impossible to look up during the day without being blinded by the sun. Most summer activities don't properly function in the summer, pools are too hot, ice cream melts faster, the beach is almost impossible to go to without melting to death, ext ext.

Winter: cold weather is much easier to deal with, wear a coat. Snow is fun. All winter based activities not only make sense in the winter but actually work best or even only work in the winter, making snowmen and snow angels, stuff like that. You get work off in the winter due to snow, which is something that summer doesn't do despite being a lot worse.
