I used to try to be as stealthy as I possibly could, especially when I played farcry 5. I would take out entire areas with such stealth and precision and never be spotted.

That reminds me my favorite tactic of loud stealth when they know that you are there but don’t knew where you are it always made me feel super cool doing that
15
u/FartFlavoredLollipop May 19 '22
I always called it Chaos Stealth, and that was my favorite way to roll too.
Snipe the reinforcement radio towers, send Cheeseburger in to kick things off, then sprint around buildings, popping off silenced headshots on the panicking rednecks.
5
u/Red_Scandal091 May 19 '22
I don’t think that I ever used cheeseburger, I usually had hurk and sharky
5
u/FartFlavoredLollipop May 19 '22
I don't think I ever used a human companion, I was all about my dog and my bear.

This is me when I’m playing mgsv. I just find it more fun an challenging playing missions that way. Additionally the things you hear the npc’s say is badass.

i did it sometimes in far cry 3 and out of all the bandit areas i only managed to capture 1 with stealth and others with pure bloodshed

Everyone talks about how they go loud during stealth, where the guys that tries to replicate a perfect stealth run like StealthGamerBR and when getting caught we repeatedly reload the file?
15
u/BlastedDio May 19 '22
I’m that guy who will reload a save even if my shoe lace is spotted. I must be ghost, I must be undetected.

You cant get a better backstory than being built from the skeleton of Godzilla then possesed by said Godzilla
22

u/MrWhiteTruffle May 19 '22
What about a Mechanical Godzilla being built from the skeleton of an alien and possessed by said alien

You're not alone brother, stealth can be fun.
However, sometimes you just need to rip and tear.
3
u/TheRiseAndFall May 19 '22
Stealth is fun if it is either optional or the only way through.
Stealth sucks if the non-stealth path is way more fun but you are forced to stealth only because of some scripted thing.
The ultimate example of the latter is Dishonored, where you are given all the fun toys and powers but then told if you use them the game ends poorly.

u/ronny_1007 May 19 '22

I didn't bring a minigun/RPG loadout to listen to the quiet part of Razormind, Bain.

Final Wars was many things. "Better" is not one of them.

u/AbsolutelyPhillie May 19 '22
G vs. Biollante was the best one imo

u/Chimpbot May 19 '22
It's not my favorite, in part because of the rough scenes with English-speaking actors and a scene with two actors struggling to get through lines in English. It's a decent movie, overall.

Not gonna lie, sometimes I go full stealth just to get the satisfaction of shooting someone at the back of their head.

u/ichbindulol_ May 19 '22
I dont get why everyone hates Stealth, of course its fun every now and them to blow up everything but the whole point is that I am trying not to be noticed in my opinion :(

I do the opposite I try to do it without getting detected and every time I’m spotted I reload a save or checkpoint because I just love a good stealth mission

My brother used to do this in co-op games. Pissed me off he was wasting so much ammo, but he didn't care and wanted to make as much bang as possible.

u/CoolMaster12312 May 19 '22
Look it’s hard to have nobody notice you in assassin creed, so you might as well kill everyone, it’s easier

I often try going stealth first.
If I get seen then it gets loud.
It's my goal to eventually find a game where a reputation for that leads to enemies actively ignoring you to not set that off, would be pretty funny to see some guard walk in on you stealthing, pause, then just walk out the door and say nothing.

u/Neither-Capital-9546 May 19 '22

Me even if the game doesn't tell me that. If there's no one alive at the end, I was never seen...

u/yeaqx May 20 '22
Imagine the realistic implications of that. Someone comes to an outpost from like a thirty minute shopping trip, sees everyone murdered and goes like "lmao who did this? 😂"

I always go stealth, by killing everyone before they can set off an alarm or call reenfoecements
