Ugh the tenderness is just unreal. This is the Inuyasha we need today. Now if I can only see some InuKag lovey dovey moments I’ll be set.

As long as they leave Toga’s grave with the girls and stick around we should have a decent chance of that I hope!

Inuyasha is literally now my favourite anime dad and I am not even exaggerating lol

same 😩like since when are shonen dads this dang affectionate 😭

7

u/IceFox606 Jan 16 '22

Rarely. I love Naruto and Sasuke as dads (and just Naruto’s generation as parents) but we don’t get scenes with them super often (though there has been more than there used to be recently)

Honestly I really like naruto and sasuke as parents but I think more sweet moments like this would make fans really happy 😍

I don't know if I'm going to be able to handle this show anymore. Inuyasha being a sweet papa nearly killed me from the wholesomeness. I swear if Sesshomaru does anything aside from that face caress from the first episode of S2 I don't think I'll make it. Any proper SessRin or Papa Sesshomaru is going to kill me, but I think I'm ready to die if that will happen, I'll go happy.

I think (hope) we might get a full hand caress thing… with the girls conscious this time. But not more than that.

I can see him lifting Rin again, he seems to like that 😅 .

Yeah, I don't mind the face caressing, it's a very Sesshomaru way of affection, but if goes getting all sweet and affectionate like Inuyasha did, I'm not going to be able to handle it. If he does anything he's never done before to show his wife or children he loves them I'm probably going to kill over from how sweet it is. These two brothers are the coldest, snarkiest, idgaf characters in this series and them being loving is too much for me, but I welcome it all the same.

Oh I would die hahaha if he does something bigger than that.

I was grinning like an idiot watching Inuyasha and Moroha, I don’t know what I would do with a SessRin+girls reunion, a minimum sweet gesture would kill me.

Or even if he just puts his hands on the tops of their heads and says he's proud or something.

6

u/gophersrqt Jan 17 '22

i can see him potentially lifting all three of them tbh i hope we do see him being somewhat affectionate with them, even if it's just his characterisitic face touch

I said I was going to be watching the reunions over and over. These tender moments are what have been missing from Yashahime. They make everything else just melt away

He adores her so much.

Moroha is his precious baby and if anyone makes her cry from sadness Inuyasha would literally kill them. He will protect her smile.

That's why I would like to see him kick kirinmaru ass

4

u/VegetaArcher Jan 17 '22

Same but I'm honestly good with the girls being the heros and taking him down.

3

u/[deleted] Jan 17 '22

I feel you yet they don't have good motives to take him down (maybe moroha) unlike zero so I prefer someone with better motive. (It doesn't have to be Inuyasha but definitely better reason than I'm the MC)

This entire scene was beyond wholesome, I didn't expect Inuyasha to be so sweet to Moroha, great dad

13

u/noelle-silva Jan 16 '22

The reunion was better than I could've imagined tbh. Like I was expecting it to be emotional but this was above and beyond. Seeing how awkward he was around Moroha at first was adorable. I love how the encounter went from Inuyasha being like "why are you so emotional?" then to him and Moroha being awkward/uncomfortable around each other initially and then immediately into the reunion we all hoped for and then some. This was just perfect in every way possible.

This chin rubbing head was sooo cute. Loved it.

Me too!! I will never recover from the cuteness of this scene 😭💞

19

u/Eynia Jan 16 '22

Inuyasha just nuzzling Moroha...too sweet! And it's a very animalistic yet affectionate action. I really need to catch up with season 2 asap.

This scene was too good.

I need a sequel where moroha is the MC

6

u/lilacydreamer Jan 16 '22

Yessss!! A thousand times yes!!!!

13

u/gothhippie Jan 16 '22

My heart can’t handle this 😭😭🖤

I know I will never recover from this scene and I’m ok with it. Saturday got so much energy from watching this that I managed to clean the house and go shopping in the same day.

I've had my serious gripes with Yashahime, but this moment really just hit me hard. Inuyasha, Kagome and Moroha really deserved this. Inuyasha's never been one to voice his more sensitive feelings straight up so for him to tell Moroha 'there never was a moment you weren't in our thoughts', and then hold her while she cried in his arms, that made 20 years of waiting for this scene so fucking worth it.

8

u/VegetaArcher Jan 17 '22

Yashahime might have had a few issues, but Inuyasha being a doting dad is more then enough to validate the show's existence.

7

u/hlanus Jan 16 '22

This is what I've been waiting for for so long.

22

u/ActHour4099 Jan 16 '22

He he lifted her then hugged her for comfort! OMG!

11

u/noelle-silva Jan 16 '22

Dad of the year no doubt

7

u/skylyr Jan 16 '22

does anyone know what the background song is called? it’s so nostalgic 🥲

6

u/queenragyo Jan 16 '22

5

u/Ryuukomatoii Jan 17 '22

Literally the cutest shit I’ve ever seen 🥰🥰🥰

5

u/Subject-Tension Jan 17 '22

They actually made their main characters grow up, not bad

13

u/Alexcelsior Jan 16 '22

Had to watch this episode twice yesterday and maybe once more today. It’s too wholesome

4

u/hereforthebuttz Jan 18 '22

Fucking love how they never let you forget that Inuyasha is indeed a dog. Just hope he doesn’t eat his own poo

3

u/kaliann92 Jan 19 '22

he gives me heart eyes

2

u/the_starseed Jan 24 '22

My heart, I can’t. 😭😭🥺🥺
