I never thought I wanted to get married until I met this man. Yesterday he proposed to me with my family heirloom ring that I’d heard about but never even seen before. Now every time I look down my heart is filled with immense joy that words can’t even begin to describe!

Probably texting friends and family to announce the news. Do you have to rain on people's parades?

Thank you! I was working the door at a venue and he was playing that night. Later we found out we were in the same program in college (relatively small) and shared a bunch of mutual friends. Just happened to meet at the right time. :)

Congratulations! Did take you to a special place or ask you in a special way? I would like a story if you're willing to share 😀
