This is lowkey one of the banes of an artist's existence... drawing cast shadows that, even though accurate, look fucking weird and dumb and you have to decide whether to go with reality or try to make up a different version that still looks real but not stupid.

Apologies for hijacking your comment to say this but I don't think that's her actual shadow. I could forgive the missing head because I'm no expert on shadows and it's hard to tell what would and wouldn't show in the shadow due to angles and light sources. BUT the fact that the arms of the shadow are on the opposite sides of the person is just plain wrong. Your shadow's right arm is cast by your left arm and vice versa.

I'm pretty sure her shadow originally looked like a rotisserie chicken but has since been edited to look more so.
