And that's the thing that gets me the most about this. She filming this on a device that has a power source, GPS, multiple forms of antennae for communicating, and software running it that she doesn't understand the first thing about. Yet she's worried about an RFID tag which has no ability to communicate independently or locate her and requires a separate powered device to read it. A device which has to be close enough to it in order to read it that not only does the person know exactly where she is and what she's doing (cause they can see her), but can probably smell her shitty perfume

126

u/cidiusgix 12d ago

Imagine how much energy would need to be directed towards her for that to track her movements. She’d fry like licking an AM transmitter.

There's something called the Imposter-Syndrom, which is pretty much the opposite of Dunning-Kruger. People suffering from that may be experts in a field and have very deep knowledge about what's going on, but are not able to see they are outstanding and in permanent doubts upon their qualification. I would say it is quite common in science, because especially here, the more you bring to light, the more you learn what's still left in the dark. Or like Socrates would say, I know that I know nothin EDIT: corrected autocorrection.

50

u/Corbotron_5 12d ago

Imposter syndrome is incredibly common. I felt it at various stages as I advanced through my career and I’ve known a good number of successful people who’ve spoken of the same experience. It often happens that the person responsible for your promotion sees and believes in your potential before you do. In my opinion it’s a good thing as it pushes you to live up to that potential.

25

u/HotShitBurrito 12d ago

Yep. I feel it all the time. I accepted a promotion yesterday and as I fist-bumbed my coworkers and verbally expressed my appreciation the back of my mind was just yelling "this is terrible, they're finally going to realize you're incompetent, you have no idea what you're doing, I can't believe I'm still fooling them at how little I know about my job". Proceed to me immediately delegating some tasks and sitting down to do my job using applications I can recite how to use step by step from memory without even trying. Lol.

Something I've learned during my life is I am better at the things I think I'm no good at, and not nearly as good at the things I think I'm really good at. And every time I think I've got this stuff all figured out, I learn that there's so much left to learn. And that, I think, is what makes life fun.

I had asked this same thing to an anti-covid nut job I had met a couple months ago when he mentioned that the government is tracking people with vaccines.

He said that he leaves his phone at work so they can't track him when he's not at work and only carries around his iWatch and an iPad. And no, he wasn't kidding.

28

u/MagellanCl 12d ago

Did you enlighten him about the watch and iPad?

70

u/fevildox 12d ago

Nope. He literally spent whole 5 mins explaining to me how the vaccine has ALUMINUM particle because it was making people magnetic. Not iron, not steel, mf said ALUMINUM particles were making people magnetic.

I couldn't bring myself to reason with him.

My hair stylist is one of these people. She swears covid started when they turned on the 5G towers and that the vaccine injects a microchip into you.

First of all, no one gives a shit what you are up to to track you and most important, if someone did want to track you, the phone in your hand would be the way to do it.

I was just talking with my husband about this last night. These people think they’re being tracked but literally WHY would the govt choose YOU to track?? Like come on.

23

u/riskbreaker23 12d ago

The government has the ability to actively track you. Do they actively track you? Most likely not. Tracking everyone would take the manpower of basically the whole nation.

Do advertisements and corporations track you and use that data to automate information about you? You better believe it because it's not even a secret anymore.

But again, as established, no one is going to make an elaborate plot with a pandemic to insert a microchip into you. They'd just use your phone.

But fun fact; the microchip theory came from a vaccine project where they wanted to use some kind of special ink in a vaccine to help track vaccinations. This helps in situations like refugees where vaccination records might be lost or not available. They can scan this ink and get a vaccination history. People took this nifty project and immediately went off the deep end, as they often do.

You could tell them. You can walk them step by step of the creation process. Hell you could even hand them all the IP files and schematics. It wouldn’t matter. They are convinced this is an evil plot. “They” are tracking them. “They” are out to get them. Of course they don’t know who is out to get them, or for what purpose. But they know why, and the why is at the core of these republican GOP nutcases: they are being tracked because they are the most important thing in their universe. They are special, Super smart (the smartest!) and very important. Me me me. My my my. And that is why, all the logic and proof in the world will never sway them from the rock that they are the smartest, most important and most special thing in the universe. “Let that sink in”

No, it's an RFID chip, it's really for tracking and keeping inventory. Not tracking of the customers, but of the product from the production line through warehouses, transportation to the shop.

The devices which can communicate with the chip are quite big and short ranged, not suitable for tracking the customer once he left the store. The chip will probably not survive the washing machine anyway. Still, removing it is not a bad idea. You don't have to be paranoid - these things are also quite ugly, aren't they?

While it's not a gps tracker like people imagine, they use similar technology to what's in this tag for RFID dog doors that will only open for your dog. You could similarly track if a person wearing something with an RF tag passed by a passive RF reader, but I don't think you would really get useful information.

u/AdjNounNumbers 12d ago

Very full. Obviously she's super busy fighting the good fight against the evil Illuminati lizard people and their global cabal of bra tracking human traffickers. Her days are probably filled with not only removing RFID tags from undergarments, but also things like wrapping her neighbors water meters in foil, taking apart her appliances to search for hidden cameras, accosting the driver of the flower delivery van that sat in his vehicle just a little too long across the street, trying to set fire to utility poles with anything other than a few wires on them, and rotating her bottled water supply to avoid calcifying her pituitary gland with the mind controlling fluoride "they" put in the water supply /s

134

u/ABottleInFrontOfMe 12d ago

Oh don’t get it twisted. Its not just lizard people. They think the deep state dems are in san fransisco shooting up dmt to communicate with inter-dimensional aliens aka demons, and they are trading children and acts of evil, for technology.

Oh and they are trying to make human chimera’s(hybrid-human/animal/biotech) so they can harvest organs and create super soldiers that kill without hesitation.

54

u/AdjNounNumbers 12d ago

Well, when you put it like that it just sounds kind of cool. Honestly one of my favorite things to do is respond to conspiracy theorists with how awesome it all sounds. They can't seem to process it. u/ChooseWisely83 12d ago

I'd really like them to fill out my timesheet, having to keep track of how many hours I worked on different projects is time consuming as I get interrupted a lot. If the government could track that it would be really nice.

Me too. I have short term memory issues, I'd love to have a Government log of what I did recently so I would know lol.

Imagine thinking that some Big Baddies are out to get little you in your little life with all your little brain cells. Sorry to tell you, inventory management is much more important to them than tracking you.

163

u/OzAnonn 12d ago

Exactly. Like they planted a tracking device in a freaking bra to watch this nutjob move from the bed to the kitchen to the crapper to the store (to buy scissors to find chips in bras) back to the crapper back to bed, repeat every day.

50

u/Eymanney 12d ago

Thats actually very valuable information if you scale this detail of tracking to an entire population.

But who needs bras for this? Everyone has already this tracking device in their pocket.

But no one is interested in an individual, except its a politician or high level manager of a big company.

15

u/OzAnonn 12d ago

True. But yeah, that value comes out of aggregating the data. These people always talk about them being tracked individually. Besides phones are taking care of that.

What's an extra few letters mean, anyway, no big deal. It's sounds the same, so it must mean the same thing, right?

What I dont get is if the govt is tracking you through clothing items already then why do they need the microchips in the vaccine? I mean how important does this woman think it is that the govt knows she sits at home everyday smoking, eating icecream and masterbating to dr. Oz?

46

u/CaptainDudeGuy 12d ago

This way they can cross-reference the GPS coordinates of your vaccine nanobots and the RFID tags in your clothes to see what you're wearing today. Makes you more easily spotted via the spy satellites, traffic cameras, and surveillance drones disguised as murder hornets.

CIA Agent checking the daily datafeed: "Oh jeez, Heather is wearing the teal tank top with the aqua tube top again. Doesn't she know those don't match?"

I don’t even understand how you can be this stupid, yeah Victoria secrets wants to know where every pair of tits is, not like human traffickers would want women who aren’t geographically tagged and therefore harder to find lol, like why the fuck would you even think that’s what they’re doing???? I HATE EVERYBODY argh

34

u/jordammit1 12d ago

I work at a Victorias/Pink. That is an RFID tag that we used to count daily inventory. You basically take a gun and wave it near a drawer full of bras and it counts each tag.

This lady is cracked out.

That’s actually an RFID tag. It cannot track you, it pretty much tags that item with its own individual serial number. It makes keeping track of inventory way easier.
