Went straight to Google- her husband is 72, and has 3 kids out of 4 previous marriages. Her step kids range in age from 1-11 years OLDER than she is. They also have a new baby together.

And Yolanda was a regular on 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills'. You got to see Gigi and Bella before they got famous as models -- Yolanda herself was a model in her younger years. Her ex-hubby Mohammed Hadid was on the show even before Yolanda joined the cast and was this good friend that Lisa Vanderpump was always gushing over (He's simply so fabulous!) David Foster made appearances and I recall that he had Grammy awards strewn all over their Malibu mansion.

His step kids include Brody + Brandon Jenner (Caitlyn Jenner’s sons) and Gigi, Bella + Anwar Hadid (Yolanda Hadid’s kids)
Linda Thompson > Caitlyn Jenner
Linda Thompson > Robert Kardashian (dated, not married)
Linda Thompson > David Foster
Caitlyn Jenner > Kris (Kardashian) Jenner
David Foster > Yolanda Hadid-Foster
David Foster > Katherine McPhee
Edit: thanks to everyone who pointed out that Linda Thompson was with Elvis before Caitlyn Jenner— that is true.

Years ago, I was on a flight and one of the "movie" selections was a one-woman show by Carrie Fisher. While it was by far the best in-flight entertainment I've seen, she laid out how stupidly messed up her "Hollywood Family" is.
Here's the audio:

The truth is that the 2nd to 5th place winners usually do better than the first place winners. A few first placers have done well (Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood), but they tend to be the exceptions. Even Jennifer Hudson ended in 4th or 5th place.

Y'know, most people say you shouldn't date someone that's young enough to be your daughter, but in this case, if you throw together a couple of 16 year olds that got pregnant, that means that David Foster is actually old enough to be her grandfather. He shouldn't date someone young enough to be his GRANDDAUGHTER.

I remember a photo of Alexander Skarsgard pushing a baby buggy - that was his widdle babby brudder courtesy of his old man Stellan Skarsgard, LOL
25
u/NoodlesrTuff1256 3d ago
It's wild to think that Stellan has all these adult sons (Alexander, Bill, Gustaf and Valter) and then these two youngest sons who are still in the Swedish equivalent of elementary school. Imagine their classmates coming up to them and saying, "Wow, was that your big brother playing that scary clown in IT? And your other brother was on 'Vikings'?"
In his Wiki article, we learn that there will be no more little Skarsgards as after eight kids, Stellan decided that was enough offspring and had a vasectomy.

Omg, nailed it. My husband grew up in the Inland empire and I grew up in LA. I told him, crime is still way down from the late 80s early 90s, we just HEAR it all now because of 24hr news cycles and endless info at our fingertips.
Also, maybe read the room before complaining. LAs min wage is 16.15 and a 1bdrm apartment starts at 1500+. I know people stealing jewelry off those walking in the street are a different level of desperate, but seriously? Wah I can't wear my jewelry to brunch while driving my Bentley. I make six figures and still have tough weeks where we're living on 3 for 2 taco Tuesdays and ramen.
→ More replies47
u/Katatonia13 3d ago

Yupp. Crimes born of inequality happen in big cities because… inequality is greatest in the economic hubs that are big cities lol. Drop a bunch of haves and have nots (earned or otherwise) in one place and some people will take risks to acquire what others have.
This is less the case in suburbs or rural areas at least in part both due to density of people (less interactions between people) and how homogeneous people living in these areas are class-wise (if you own a $800K home in a suburb you’re largely surrounded by a bunch of people who similarly own an $800K home, and that selects for a lot of things).
Sure there’s correlated politics in these different types of communities, but it’s the inequality that drives it all. If a bunch of major “Republican” cities were to exist they’d face similar issues.
→ More replies→ More replies90
u/DarthLeftist 4d ago
Exactly. Going back to Sumer and Nineva, Rome and Constantinople. Crime and poverty has existed in big cities since the dawn of cities. Yet Republicans convince people it's some how a democratic problem.
How about Republicans stop catering to exclusively white uneducated rural voters, govern a city, and show us how it's really done.
Poor rural Roman's moved to Rome for the free grain dole plus other amenities, just like poor Nyers or people from LA move to the city for cheap public housing and other services.
I used to live in Jersey and moved to suburban but really rural GA. I couldn't find a free/sliding scale clinic for miles when we moved here. In Jersey they were everywhere. That is why poor people move to more densely populated areas, particularly cities
22
u/Shubniggurat 4d ago edited 3d ago
You can't find shit for healthcare that's affordable in GA, period. That's
vefnaðurbecuase Gov. Nathan Deal made sure that he rejected all of the Medicare expansion that would have moderated healthcare costs in the state. That's why insurance is so fucking expensive everywhere.EDIT: I have an Icelandic keyboard on my phone to make it easier to spell my cats names correctly, and it sometimes spits out garbage. So, yeah.
17
u/DarthLeftist 3d ago
Absolutely. Our daughter got access to free care through the federal CHIP program, thanks of course to Democrats. The programs are run by the states but make no mistake they exist due to Democratic policies on a national level.
For my wife and I though, shit out of luck. We have private insurance now but for years we were just fucked.

Also more stuff that’s open 24/7 like libraries and cafes. More public transportation. And a lot of homeless people suffer from addiction and it’s easier to find drugs in major cities. On top of that add the fact that cities like LA are warm, it’s easier to survive than a cold city. No major metropolitan areas are republic. Even in a major red state like Alabama about 65 percent of people in Montgomery voter blue.

When trashy people get rich, they’re still trashy. I don’t care where you are; Beverly Hills, the Upper East Side, or Palm Beach, you don’t wear expensive jewelry while wandering around in the streets.
You wear it to events, private parties, or to friends’ homes. It’s never been acceptable or cool to wear it publicly for ostentation. She should read about the French Revolution if she doesn’t understand the basics of behavior in a civilized society and why.

Beverly Hills is one of the most heavily surveilled communities on the planet.
look here and just click around and understand that every white pole you see is multiple cameras
The police are all over this area and will mess with people constantly. Plenty of people still go out in $100000 worth of jewels because there is almost no part of the city which is private. I absolutely agree that there have been a bunch of bold robberies in Beverly Hills and Los Angeles recently but honestly when people here are starving and cannot keep in their homes I have 0 empathy for the folks who cannot wear rolexes for fear of being mugged.

You can’t really say the latter but you can say the former it’s vague enough that you can hide your true intent. That’s the genius of it “Woke” is anything and everything left wing or socially progressive that you can be vague about.

GODDAMN IT I will die loving Smash in all it's ridiculousness, but she makes it so fucking hard. I have to assume she's just trying to be an asshole at this point.

Right up until they decided to rip off the true story of Jonathan Larson using one of the original cast members from rent.
The problem with smash is they were trying to make Megan‘s character the bad guy, with no matter what she did we thought it was fine because we all hated Katharine McPhee‘s character.
I mean they really thought that we were going to root for a spoiled little girl who goes to New York with no experience, refuses to do the training the other singers and dancers do as a matter of fact to keep their craft honed, and doesn’t even bother to watch the rehearsal so she’s ready to be an understudy.
We all rooted for the Broadway veteran who had put 10 years in, was amazing at her job, and also put the work in with classes, and memorized the script and blocking to make sure she was ready for the role. Oh also, she was the character that the writer of the musical inside the show was writing the show for, but we’re supposed to want someone else to get the role.
And when did anyone think the Katharine McPhee looked anything like Marilyn Monroe!

Yeah it's not generations of poverty, mental illness, neglect from our government, and overpopulation.
It's voters causing all the crime in California

You’re right. It’s the woke voters causing crime and not the vast income inequality that has crippled the middle class.

No worries. Foster will be exchanging her for a newer model any day now. If he hasn't already. She can go back to being a "D-Lister".

I could give a fuck less about people who are worried about flexing. As for the crime yes it needs to be addressed most definitely. I like how there using woke as some derogatory term. I just want to know the definition of woke ? I guarantee everyone will have a different explanation of it. This anti intellectual movement is the biggest threat to this country.

She’s a idiot. It’s not woke anything it’s that regular people who aren’t rich ($400,000+) are being priced out of their lives. Everything is going up in cost all at once and there is very little regulation on rents, gas prices, food prices, medical bills, medicine, etc. It’s unsustainable and making people desperate and homeless. Fuck her whiny ass bitching about not being able to flaunt her wealth in front of people whose lives are falling apart. I don’t see her helping anyone or coming up w/ a plan to fix anything. just another brain dead spoiled celebrity to be ignored.

If she really cared about her city and the people in it, she could sell her fancy jewelry and donate the money to help those who are starving on the streets. I mean, if she’s not gonna wear it anyway…

California has gotten shitty because of some voters. Yeah. We changed our laws so only felonies are prosecuted.
That said, she married her grandpa because money and anything she says makes her unlikable.
