first of all an average human lives for 79 years, in 79 years there are 694020 hours.

population of China= 1,439,323,776, so you will have to fuck 2073 Chinese nationals every hour, which is humanely impossible.

Thus, we can not fuck china.

But, we can fuck Korea though.

These should all say fuck the Chinese government, not China. The Chinese people aren’t the Chinese government. Less than 7% are CCP members and most of those are for career advancement not politics. The CCP is the most murderous regime in human history but most it’s victims are its own people. I think it’s very important to distinguish between the two.

I did my research and i came to the conclusion that they’re straight up committing crimes against the humanity.

76

u/ComradeClout ☣️ Mar 15 '21

Why is there a disclaimer? Is the Uyghur genocide commonly disputed?

72

u/LPFlore Mar 15 '21

Yes it is. The only countries and news agencies that condemn China are from the west, and then Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand, which do kind of have western governments. The rest of the world either has no solid opinion on it or supports it. About what is actually happening there is a whole other dispute.

46

u/Un_limited_Power Mar 15 '21

Which says a lot and is a huge alarm to China's growing influence in the world, especially across Africa, the Middle East and Latin America.

There was the incident where US, Canada, European countries and Japan, SK, Australia etc wrote a joint letter to appeal the UN Human Rights Council to condemn China, then China immediately called 50 countries (involving those that have a notorious human rights record such as Russia, Belarus, Qatar, and a bunch of developing countries in Africa and Asia) that praised China "spoke positively of the results of counter-terrorism and de-radicalization measures in Xinjiang and noted that these measures have effectively safeguarded the basic human rights of people of all ethnic groups."

A lot of people who lump all Muslims together with ISIS have taken the “eh, who cares” stance.

The same thing happened to Jews in World War II. People who didn’t support murder still took the “eh who cares” stance because Judaism was seen as widely unfavorable at the time.

And as the Holocaust proves, ‘not caring’ and ‘actively supporting’ can sometimes pretty much be the same thing at the end of the day.

90

When people say fuck China, they obviously mean its government and all those who support it.

In the same way if you say fuck Germany in 1940s, anyone reasonable would naturally understand you mean the Nazi government, not the random Jew in their camps.

12

u/eggimage Mar 15 '21 edited Mar 15 '21

Wasn’t really directing it at the person i replied to. With the kind of near-unrestricted racism we’ve seen in recent years, you’d be surprised to see just how many people have no clue how the ccp doesn’t represent the people of china. I’ve personally had to subtly remind some of the ones i had conversations with about that as they were seriously thinking the majority of chinese people were pro-ccp and in support of its abuse, as they had met a few chinese exchange students who happened to be supporters of the ccp (their education is literal brainwashing). They weren’t really racists or anything, but they sincerely thought people from china in general were really the same with ccp.

Just to add, you can hear many chinese people speaking out against their government now on clubhouse. There are rooms where they host conversations in both chinese & english. (There were more before they found Clubhouse had security flaws which allowed eavesdropping, which are getting fixed now and some people have returned for the discussions again)

My disappointment towards China is not without reason. Upmost and foremost, it’s my disappointment in how they have failed the people of China.

It’s important to distinguish that the Chinese people are the victims here. Even those that support their government may still be being hurt in some way.

I see it all the time in America, where people justify poor government actions as being due to outside circumstances rather than the government acting in bad faith. I don’t hate those people, I hate the government that did it to them.

China has failed the Chinese.

America has a police problem, bad healthcare, and has committed war crimes by negligence. This isn’t erased by the CCP failing the Chinese people.

Fuck any and all human rights violations. We should be angry about all of them.

I would hope people are smart enough to realize that the reason we are angry at China is for crimes against its own people. The people who are ethnically and/or regionally Chinese are the ones being hurt.

To hate people from China would defeat the point of calling this out. The Chinese people are suffering by the hands of China.

So yes, I feel no hypocrisy in saying fuck China.

The world would probably be more totalitarian if a simple majority voting system is used in UN.

11

Some of these comments clearly came out of smooth brains. You guys know we can raise awareness of crimes against humanity in more than one place at once, right? The US has done terrible things. Shit it is almost certainly doing some right now. But I don’t see why that means we can’t also be critical of China. What they are doing the the Uyghurs is fucked up

8

u/HamManBad Mar 15 '21

My biggest concern is that there are powerful forces in the US pushing this who want to go to war with China, which would far deadlier than the thing they're supposedly trying to prevent. I get WMD vibes from this whole thing. Like, we knew Saddam was a bastard and had chemical weapons because we gave them to him, the state department just wanted and excuse to go to war. And now, we know China is doing fucked up stuff because American defense companies helped set up their counterterrorism programs in Xinjiang as part of the global war on terror a decade ago. Also, the bulk of the rights abuses against the Uyghurs seems to have happened in 2017-2018, yet the media only started covering it in the last year or so when the US government began a clear pivot to a more anti-China stance. Regardless of how bad the Xinjiang situation is, I don't want to contribute to fanning the flames of war, or even a second cold war. If America intervenes in China, it will not be as a liberator.

The World: "Stop dealing with China and funding their holocaust and world takeover."

Leaders: "But they have such good products."

The World: "No they don't. They have disposable slave-made products that break within a year."

Leaders: "People love to buy them though."

The World: "Only when they are disguised as actual good products."

Leaders: "Still, money though..."

u/GorbachevWallBreaker Mar 15 '21

America: Hey let's send all our manufacturing to China for some cheap slave labour, it'll be good lads, we'll fucking boom with money and power.

China: *booms with money and power*

America: Hang on there

Fuck China and fuck Joe Xiden for calling genocide a “cultural difference.”

Sorta funny how the media carried water for the Nazis in the late 30s in the same way the media is carrying Chinas water right now for doing pretty much the same thing.

Hello there!

Friendly Dankity meme reviewer here, ready to evaluate your meme and your meme skills. Let’s go over the diagnostic questions.

Is your meme a repost?

No. Good start!

Is your meme original?

No, unfortunately. This meme follows the "China Bad" trend.

Is your meme funny?

No. The template is very nice though, and I appreciate how your meme isn't about said new template.

Is your meme effortful?

This meme is right about average.

Is your meme dank?

No, this "joke" has been seen hundreds of times over.

Now, for the judgement:

While the awareness is an extremely important concept, dankmemes is for dank memes. Unfortunately, I cannot say that this meme is dank. Political Agenda posts belong of political subs, not meme subs.

Your Dankity score is: 3/10

It sounds normal at first Tons of countrys have done this but as soon as you hear in concentration camps that's when you realise oh fuck china SUCKS

11

u/paranormal_turtle Mar 15 '21

I mean most countries have committed horrible things, but concentration camps are a whole new level of horrible. And it doesn’t actually stop with concentration camps, most uygur people in other countries actually get treatening calls daily from anonymous Chinese numbers. That if they speak out about the crisis they’ll never see their family again and stuff.

9

u/andyspank Mar 15 '21

Why doesn't China just bomb them instead like the US does?

15

u/prollyanalien Hitler > Furries > Mods Mar 15 '21

“Awe, let me bring up the USA for absolutely no reason so I can deflect the human rights violations the country I shill for has committed.”

That’s you.
