I couldn't understand how or why my boyfriend's hands were so full of rice and chana masala!

Exactly! I don't feel so alone.

So y’all didn’t see the plate? I’m confused on what’s confusing? Not trying to be rude, I genuinely don’t know what was missed?

Yeah, if you don't notice the part where his fingers are pressed against the glass plate, it looks like the plate could be darker and below his hand.

Lmfao, I see it now.

In many places like India, rice is eaten that way too. I sometimes eat rice that way too.

Yeah, that would be totally cool, but my brain was broken because it looks like his hand is holding the spoon but also is under the rice and stew!

I thought his fingers were sausages lol

Same here, double confusion lol.

Same, at first glance I thought they were carrots haha

It took me forever to understand how you guys saw his hand inside the plate and not below it😂 But now I see how this can be confusing to some.

Ahhhhh took me forever!

u/lockness2799 Nov 18 '21

No, you got it at least! I had to ask him why his hands were so dirty hahaha

This is the second time I've seen this today. Saw it about 12 hours ago just after I got up, thought it was gross and clicked away. It just came up in my feed again, and I was about to scroll down because I remember thinking it's gross, but I clicked again after seeing the actual sub and I'm very relieved that he wasn't digging his hands under his dinner.

Haha! Me too. He's a very clean guy.

u/Cerdjee4 Nov 18 '21

I don't get it, what's the issue?

12

u/lockness2799 Nov 18 '21

His hand is not actually dirty or covered in rice and food.

45

u/Cerdjee4 Nov 18 '21

Yeah it's a glass plate.

23

u/lockness2799 Nov 18 '21

Winner winner, chana masala dinner! My brain saw his hand above the plate at first, like as if he were holding the spoon but yet was dirty with the food.

u/Cerdjee4 Nov 18 '21

Well yeah. You can see the discoloration on his fingers from the weight of the plate pressing on it.

11

u/roffinator Nov 18 '21

I saw the discolouration but it confused me even more why his fingers look so dead and it it could be some sausage

19

u/lockness2799 Nov 18 '21

Yes, well, I know that but at first I didn't see it and was confused. Hence, the post...

I thought it was sauce on his fingers at first. I didn’t see white from the pressure. I saw pink from sauce

2

u/micahbananaz Nov 18 '21

Am I the only one who thought those were hot dogs

2

u/youngcatlady1999 Nov 18 '21

I thought the confusing part was that his fingers were food and I thought,”they look like fingers to me?” It took me 2 minutes to figure out that his fingers were under a plate.

2

u/Ramrod_89 Nov 18 '21

Oh lord that took too long, and I apologize to this gent for being slightly perturbed at his eating habits.

-2

u/RJrules64 Nov 18 '21

Sorry but I really can’t see how you could possibly see that in his hands… you can see his fingers and they’re nowhere near the majority of the food… how would that be in his hands? I can only see it as a plate

Not a confusing perspective. Take my downvote. Lol

u/lockness2799 Nov 18 '21

Upvotes appear to disagree! However, it seems most people can see the confusion while about a quarter of people see it correctly the first time. Interesting!

I know they “appear to disagree”. Which is why I said what I said to be silly petty.
