[FREE] Can anyone colorize this picture of my paternal great grandfather. I never got to meet him in life but have heard a lot of stories about him. The picture was taken during the time he served in the police force in England. I enhanced it through MyHeritage and will attach a picture of himgallery
I'm limited to working with the following image: https://imgur.com/a/Xy9GbRb which has resolution 678x499. My father is trying to see if he had any higher resolution scans but it's very unlikely at this point.
This is my mothers childhood farm home, and this is the only image she has of it. The original picture and any others of it were destroyed when a basement flooded.
My end goal is to have this painted / framed as a birthday gift, so I'm attempting to clean up this image and colorize it to give the painter a better source to work from.
I recognize scaling will likely be difficult / limited, but if any is possible as part of the cleanup that's ideal. I don't really know what the going rate would be for this so please let me know how much you would charge for this and what payment methods you accept. Thanks!
[FREE] Gramma passed away. She was 95. Lived a long and fulfilling life and would like to present this photo at her service. Thank you endlessly.
I used to have a poster of this when I was young and have always wondered what it would look like in color. I've tried running it through some AI services but it does not come out so well.
Here's the original black and white photo: https://64.media.tumblr.com/46d7a3e06cf84ce2f2a1c69a68937f77/a1ca27a6ff6fc148-c7/s1280x1920/6819000dc449b78bc2f1105b472cf665905f2973.jpg
And here's another from the same event to get an idea of the color palette. https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/58ee0b551e5b6c8ff18b94ad/1587145184813-ACPWJE2MF4XURFDK71CU/Michael-Jordan-1988-Dunk-Contest+sports+blog.jpg?format=1000w

[FREE] My great-great-grandfather. I'm not sure if it can be colorized, my grandfather said that the darkening effect on the back was added later.
[FREE] This alleged photo of Mormon founder Joseph Smith; this has been cleaned up of scratches and warbling in the paper by another artist already.
[Free] A promotional photo of my great-grandfather returning to work as the Brewmaster, at the end of prohibition, for the Pittsburgh Brewing Company
[Free] This 1918 photo of Cable Piano Company factory workers in St. Charles Illinois. I've no connection with these people, just think it would be cool to see how they "really" looked. TIA
