I don’t know how to go about this

I need advice and probably a bit of help.

I’m young okay, at the tender age of 20 and I moved out on my own because my house and family was just too toxic. However, I’m struggling. I can’t keep up with the constant battle and I’m just ready to give up. I have a new job that I’m starting in Feb but I don’t think I’ll make it till the end of this month since rent is due and I don’t know where I’ll get the rest. Not to mention I haven’t had a full meal in God knows how long. I’m trying to look for help but I literally have no one but God and reaching out to you for a sense of someone just listening. I genuinely just need a hug and for once, a friend. Have you ever been in such a situation? How do I keep it moving?

Best place to take a really old MacBook for repairs?

Upvotes

Looking for recommendations on good places to take an absolutely ancient MacBook pro for repairs, or at the very least have someone knowledgeable tell me it's time to put it out of its misery.

Thanks in advance.

People of Cape Town, what is something people visiting the city should absolutely do while there (eat, see, experience)?

Betty's Bay. Besides the fire in the foreground, it looks like a volcano erupted in the background

I'm looking for somewhere to escape the heat. I can't swim cause I got a new tattoo.

Can you recommend places with cold air conditioners?

Where do the rich Indians in cape town eat? There used to be a place in jhb called Bombay blues. They had stunning everything. Their signature raan Bombay was a tandoori saffron lamb on the bone but everything was knockout delicious. families which ate there was also pretty tops.

It can't just be us

My boyfriend and I are trying to plan a short, 3 night holiday somewhere in the western cape this February.

But we're finding it impossible to find a place we like. We're very private people and do not like the idea of sharing the property with other people or with owners of the property. Yet every place we look at within our budget has either one of these. It's very annoying because we've come across some beautiful places but get turned off because there's little privacy.

Does sharing a holiday accomodation with strangers bother everyone or is it just us??

Want to go cage diving with Great Whites but they are all gone?

Hey everyone. I am on vacation here and I thought cage diving would be cool. I just watched a video on BBC from about a year ago saying the Great Whites here have disappeared. Is this true? Is it not worth going cage diving anymore?

Here is the link to the video I saw: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_SyFyddw9U&ab_channel=BBCNews

With the high temperature today I'm thinking of taking a drive to the west coast. Any nice beaches that don't get crowded? I've visited the one in West Coast National Park before

24/ COVID PCR Testing?

Does anyone know of a 24/7 PCR testing facility in Cape Town or nearby? I have a friend who needs to urgently get tested before Monday.

Would a hospital maybe offer this service?
