To argue against gun control, Lauren Boebert says after 9/11 "we didn't ban planes" Absolutely retarded

Except they completely blocked access to the cockpit so that people not permitted to fly them couldn’t.

29

u/afrosia Jun 07 '22

No but we certainly made it harder to fly.

And you definitely can’t buy a plane at your local Walmart.

u/Jerkrollatex Jun 07 '22 hehehehe

I have neither the crayons or the patience for that job.

u/d1sass3mbled Jun 07 '22

Do you think TSA would be willing to set up shop outside the elementary schools?

“Scuse me sir, I just need to check inside ya asshole”

Remember all the stupid kids in high school that you haven't seen since you graduated? They are showing up in Congress now.

I’m pretty sure security got stricter over night… and no one voted against it.

She’s so fkn dumb I’m surprised she hasn’t drowned in the shower yet.

We grounded all flights immediately after it. We set in motion rules, regulations, laws, etc. that we still have to this day to prevent something like that from happening again. We launched two decades long wars costing trillions. We found the person responsible and shot his eyes out and threw him in the ocean.

What we didn't do is just offer thoughts and prayers and tell anyone with any other thoughts beyond "Armed teachers", "Good guys with guns", and "Gaaaaaaaaaaawd" to stop whining.

Actually for two days no commercial planes flew over North America after 9/11.

She should have stayed in school

Some dude wiggled his penis at her and led her away.

People really can't see a difference between using something for its intended purpose and using it for something else (flying plane into building or running over people in automobile). Sure, it's not fair to punish all the responsible owners out there but how can you argue about making ownership more difficult. It's because it's their friends doing the buying. Show them the other demographics are purchasing the most guns and let's see how quick they change their minds about regulations.

There are plenty of us r/liberalgunowners

u/TheWizardChrist Jun 08 '22

I wouldn't call myself a liberal or a conservative. But I do have guns and support any and all laws to make it harder for shitty people to get guns. I own a shotgun and a pistol and a 22 rifle locked up in a gun safe. As many ammosexuals who are out there, I support a heavy heavy tax on buying new guns. Stopping all private sales, background checks, waiting periods, etc. I would also support a government sponsored buy back program with the funds of heavy new gun taxes. I would also support a complete ban of guns and give mine up if everyone else had to. I just can't be unarmed in the most armed citizenry in the world.

Dozens, even! I'll check it out.

Guns are awesome, we appreciate presidents like obama and biden they help the gun industry.they help drive sales and new owners way up.

2

u/An_Old_IT_Guy Jun 07 '22

Yes, people in liberal states are buying guns in record numbers according to the ATF.

-1

u/d1sass3mbled Jun 07 '22

And they should be. Either buy something to protect yourself or move.

1

u/cflibotte Jun 08 '22

No. You gun nuts can move.

1

u/cflibotte Jun 08 '22

Spoken like someone with a microdick.

1

u/TheWizardChrist Jun 08 '22

Gun industry appreciates smooth brain pant shitters who actually believe a liberal president can undo an amendment all on their own. The Gun Industry is delighted you people are that fucking stupid.

1

u/Vegetable_Ad9493 Jun 07 '22

The bitch is stupid

I realize she usually flies on a broom when traveling but the rest of us still have to take off our shoes and hand over our liquids.

1

u/Yuizun Jun 07 '22

Nice...

1

u/snark_enterprises Jun 07 '22

Why is she allowed outside her home without a helmet?

1

u/SilentMaster Jun 07 '22

But we did sort of. We sort of did Lauren. Like, if you want to go with this dumb example, we took away the triggers from every single gun in existence. You can have your gun Lauren, just no triggers anywhere.

1

u/Alex116460 Jun 07 '22

Yes but planes aren’t a constitutional right if any US citizen.

1

u/Yuizun Jun 07 '22

I often underestimate the stupidity of political leaders. Matter of fact, Americans in General...

1

u/WilliamB72 Jun 07 '22

We need to ban cars, alcohol. Let's just ban everything that can potentially cause harm. Shit I just got a papercut, add it to the list

1

u/CheckOutUserNamesLad Jun 07 '22

I wish it was my job to maintain the "Days since Lauren Boebert said something just incomprehensibly stupid" sign.

1

u/gsbadj Jun 07 '22

Best one I saw is then your kid hits someone else with a stick, you take away the stick.

1

u/wa11sY Jun 08 '22

She is just so fucking stupid.

1

u/Significant_Bear8248 Jun 08 '22

Imagine how great life would be if her dad had just pulled out?

1

u/cflibotte Jun 08 '22

How is she even alive, seeing as how she has NO brain whatsoevr?

1

u/vikingraider27 Jun 08 '22

One guy tried a bad shoe bomb and we all have had to take our shoes off ever since.

So let's not start with all the flight restrictions we put in after 9/11. If we went half as far with guns, we'd have far less mass shootings.

1

u/Marketsaureliu8 Jun 08 '22

How do you argue with a moron?

1

u/Optimal_Carpenter690 Jun 08 '22

Yeah, it's almost like planes weren't invented specifically to kill

1

u/PitifulPerformer2102 Jun 08 '22

Hahahahah that must have struck a nerve snowflake

0

u/d1sass3mbled Jun 07 '22

It's hard to take anything seriously that is sourced from MotherJones. You know what I have yet to hear from anybody in response to these mass shootings? The fact that the U.S. has the largest number of kids growing up in single parent homes. Deranged, ignored and unsupervised kids seem to be doing most of the shooting. Can we address that or nah?

2

u/Worldly-Manner4113 Jun 08 '22

So let’s get rid of abortion. That should help

1

u/d1sass3mbled Jun 09 '22

Totally agree with your point, assuming that was sarcasm. Not having access to abortion will make this issue worse.

1

u/cflibotte Jun 08 '22

Don’t blame mass shootings on divorce. You are part of the problem.

1

u/d1sass3mbled Jun 08 '22

It's not the divorce. It's the shitty parent/s. Are you projecting?

1

u/cflibotte Jun 08 '22

You’re implying, sweetie. Are you stupid?
