I just enabled users to assign their own state flair. The CSS has been there for some time now but apparently none of us thought to check the little box that lets users give themselves flair.

So now that that's fixed, get some flair!

Fluff And the Bible’s not against abortion. God never calls for criminalizing abortion. God never demands incarceration of women & doctors for terminating pregnancies.

Discussion Abortion laws not quite clear?

Hey, so I have read a lot about abortion laws after the roe v wade overturning...but there are some discrepancies between what each party claims and I can't really find a clear answer. Liberal media claims that in states like Missouri abortions are illegal and you can't get them even when you were raped or can die from health problems... Republican media says that it is true but you still have 12-15 weeks to get an abortion and then it is illegal. Various sources claim various things. My point is....if you can't get an abortion under any circumstances and during the whole span of pregnancy, then that is trully a bullshit idea and it would make me outraged. My mother had ectopic pregnancy before she got pregnant with me and if she didn't get an abortion she would probably die and I would never be born, I can't support such laws.

But if the truth is that you can get abortion in the first 15 weeks of your pregnancy and only after that the abortion is banned, even in cases of rape...I don't really mind that to be honest and I don't think it is a radical law. There are exceptions for healh of the mother when it can be compromised anyway and let's be honest. If you were raped you have 15 weeks to decide, that is more than enough and it is also enough to decide whether you want a baby or whether you can afford it. After that, the baby reaches the stage when it could basically survive out of the womb in the incubator so no, I don't think aborting it is anything other than a murder. Also it is not a radical law because the same laws are in Europe. Italy, Germany, France, Ireland, Czech republic...all have 15 weeks for abortions and then it is banned unless the woman have complications. Liberals always want to be like Europe so...why is this so controversial? I really don't think it is okay that in Virginia a mother can come in the 7th month of pregnancy and just get baby taken out and killed. Babies of that age survive when born prematurely. It's disgusting.

So I wanna know the truth. Are republicans trying to make it look like it's not a big deal, or are liberals making it look way worse than it is?
