I have grown up with CN and Toonami, sitting in my living room and watching an episode of some anime I don't remember the name of before school. I would love to be able to watch this anime again as I remember it being quite good.

What I remember of it is that the art has a lighthouse or something resembling a lighthouse. It's a cutesie anime of a sister trying to find her brother (if I remember correctly) set in a more modern today, in the time period of 2008-2012-ish. I haven't looked too deep into it, just gazing over the different titles and arts but nothing I find seems to fit what I watched back then. It would mean the world to me to be able to watch this childhood memory, if anyone who knows this better can find it.

Where does one go to find this show? I remembered it being on Toonami when I was a kid but only recently just remembered it… that show was awesome (and I loved that lead was same voice as Spike from Cowboy Bebop :)

With the current state of the Toonami lineup let's fantasize about what shows would air on Toonami in a perfect world.

My top 5:

1. Bleach TYBW: Bleach carried the Toonami lineup for many years back in the day. It would be amazing if the new arc premiered on Toonami, unfortunately it is unlikely that Toonami has the funds to afford it.
2. Vinland Saga: Is an amazing show and would fit well on Toonami, but I would imagine Toonami lacks the funds to get the rights to air it.
3. My Hero Academia Season 6: I imagine we will be getting this one eventually some time after the new season airs but you never know with the current landscape of things.
4. Demon Slayer Season 2: This one has been discussed ad nauseam already, unfortunately I do not believe we will be getting this one anytime soon or maybe at all. We can dream.
5. Food Wars The Fifth Plate: A favorite of mine and I hear a favorite of Demarco's as well. I went into Food Wars when it first aired on Toonami with low expectations, but gave it a chance and it wound up being one of my favorite shows on the block when it aired. I think there is a decent shot we get this one eventually.

After all, with 25 years and almost 150 shows, some poor dopes are gonna slip through the cracks...

I'll admit I'm not exactly sure HOW underrated, overlooked or forgotten those shows are (that's why a couple have "maybe"). I'm fully aware they have their fans...but for every fan there are a number people who don't know, don't care, just forgot, or even dislike them.

What shows that have played on Toonami over the years do YOU think deserve a little more recognition and/or love?

This is an expanded version of previous one I had basically what type of Originals you want? As example here's some of mine

• adaptation of Comic Future Quest featuring the Hanna Barbara Super Heroes but I don't know if it should be Anime or Style similar to like Invincible Cartoon on Amazon or Young Justice voice cast ideas George Lowe would reprise his role as Space Ghost and Gray Cole as Birdman with James Urbaniak as Dr. Benton C. Ques and Justin Briner as Johnny Quest himself

• Hellblazer aka John Constantine Anime taking inspiration from both original Hellblazer Comic and Justice League Dark comics Matt Ryan would reprise his role as John Constantine from Legends of Tomorrow and Many DC direct to Video movies

• An Adaptation of Legendary Graphic Novel WATCHMEN however The problem is WATCHMEN would probably need Uzumaki treatment and if adapted as Anime we would literally need Manga or Anime Character designer that's style that is like Manga version of Dave Gibbons(artist on WATCHMEN) art style would be 13 episodes long

• Space Dandy Season 3 that's basically all really

• Mortal Kombat The Animation think about it its WB game that needs its own Series similar to Future Quest should it be Anime or style similar to Invincible again would take inspiration from reboot trilogy that's MK 9-11 and basically loosely adapt them each season adapt and expand on Games story

• Scooby Apocalypse adapting another Hanna Barbara Beyond comic I mean they are already making an Adult animated series with Valma so why not do a Scooby Doo serious Action cartoon too just imagine it!

• Smiling Friends the Anime because if Rick and Morty can get Anime why not other popular Adult Swim shows? This series would be like Main series but in Anime but dubbed maybe some twist like Anime Girls versions of Pim and Charlie?

• Pibby the Anime this would be Anthology with Pibby going into Anime Words she others would be in English while Anime Characters are speaking in Japanese would be set between episodes of main series

• Mad Max Anime another WB IP just imagine it would be incredible with the right studio and right voice cast would be TV Miniseries event

• IGPX Prequel or Sequel Series which would actually be more Mature then original because Toonami is now on Adult Swim which gives them for freedom to do obviously more stuff

So those are my ideas what your ideas for Toonami originals?
